It is hard to describe about it because it's too good!! I am usually not the meat eater but I could not stop eating because it was so delicious especially their quality of beef!! We ordered the beef combo set which has the Wagyu beef , the meat was so tender and juicy with just the right portion of fat in it which made it little crispy. It was so tasty and made me craving for more. Their service was great with lots of variety of side dishes includes seaweed soup and kimchi stew. Liked the restaurant's ambiance and it's quite happening. It was full of customers during dinner time but it was not a long wait. I am a MASSIVE fan of chef Baek Jong-won and was super excited to hear that he opened a new restaurant in DFW. The interior is super clean and trendy. We came in with a group of 3 people and ordered the XL special mix combo which came with yeoltan bulogigi (we ordered the mild and it was seasoned perfectly), the scored pork belly (amazing), sogalbisal (a little tough to chew), and the marinated beef thin skirt (amazing too). This was definitely enough for 3 people and it also came a choice of soup and we opted for the soybean paste soup. We also ordered the best steamed egg in DFW. This is a MUST order!! Overall we had a great time, but one thing that was slightly disappointing was that our server was not very skilled at the grill. Ww came here on friday at 6pm. Parking was a bit limited in the plaza but we were able to find one relatively quickly (but we saw a few cars circling around for awhile). There was a short waitlist and the place looked super busy but the wait was really not bad at all. We got the small beef special combo between the two of us and it was perfect for us. They brought out the side dishes as soon as we got seated and took out order right away. The servers came by pretty frequently to check on us and cook the meats/veggies for us and even set it aside when we were slowing down a bit so that the meats wouldn't overcook. I really appreciated that attention to detail since I tend to eat a little slower. The meat was tender and the side dishes were plentiful. I appreciated that they were attentive to what we needed and would ask if we wanted certain things or not even before I noticed it ( like when we forgot to put the garlic on the grill and they recommended it and advised us to be mindful of how quickly the thinly sliced the garlic would burn fast and when I tried to make a wrap with the lettuce and the server asked me if we wanted some rice). The little attention to providing a good service really left an impression for me! I loved that they had salads and a good mix of dipping options, including the ssamjang (bean paste sauce) for the ssam (wrap) and refilled the lettuce readily. Came here on a weekday night so it wasn't too busy. The servers were great and they cooked our meats very well. The quality of the meat was good but I think it's similar to several of the other a la cart kbbq places in the area. Prices, however, were on the higher side. My favorite cuts of meat were the pork jowl and brisket. Sides were also decent and they were refilled immediately on request. I was so excited to try this new kbbq spot! It can be hard to find at first: After parking in the lot, you need to walk to the other side of the building (the side facing the street traffic). When we arrived, everyone was so friendly! We ordered the beef special combo, which was delicious and the perfect size for two of us! I loved the banchan, and the special comes with a kimchi or soybean soup. The meats were much better quality than AYCE restaurants, but maybe not the best in Dallas. We also got the seafood pancake, which tasted more like an omelet than pancake. I would recommend focusing on the meats instead. I loved the layout of the seating; having a circle table makes for the perfect arrangement for a small group to chat and cook without anyone having to reach over too far. The Combo Doenjang Jjigae at the end was so good. It had a really nice tomato flavor and you definitely need to eat it with some rice. I've been here once before in the beginning when they first opened with an amazing experience, but today's (10/19) was awful. We were seated pretty quickly after coming in, but it all went downhill after. It was a Saturday, and they were steady, but not so busy that they couldn't serve us. We waited quite a while before being acknowledged or given any water, but all 3 tables sat after us received all their water, side dishes and got their order taken before us. We waited patiently because it looked like they were short-staffed for a Saturday, but we were ignored the whole time we were there. Another table that sat after us left because they were also ignored for a long period of time. All the servers seemed to be taking care of everyone else instead of our table, regardless of how many times they saw our empty table and made eye contact with us. For a kbbq spot that is supposedly to be cooking for you, they didn't do that a single time for us. We spent a large portion of our time just waiting for someone to either start cooking or turn on our grill. At this point, I was happy to just cook my own food so I could eat. I don't mind cooking at kbbq, but when I'm at a place that is supposed to be doing it for you, I shouldn't have to be. I glanced around as we were waiting and it seemed like there were other tables feeling the same way. Had we not ordered already, I would've left and gone somewhere else. The lack of service honestly ruined my meal. This is so upsetting because the food and the quality are great, but service was terrible, and this is coming from someone who never complains at restaurants. I came here with my boyfriend, little brother, and little brother's girlfriend over the winter holidays and it was amazing. This is one of the best Korean BBQ places I have experienced. It is nothing like Gen, but a more classy and upscale version of Korean BBQ. You can tell there was thought put into every side dish and cut of meat. This restaurant is located in a cozy little corner around the Asian/Koreantown area in Carrollton. It was a bit hard to find, but the host was so nice and ran outside in the cold weather to locate us! It was such a heartwarming gesture and set up a good mood for what to expect at the restaurant. We ordered the XL beef meat combo and it was so good. The side dishes were so unique and flavorful. The meat was fresh and great quality. The hosts were all so attentive, friendly, and constantly checked in with us to cook our meat or ask if we needed anything else. The host even came and asked us what our favorite cut of meat was. This was my first time having K- BBQ in a long time , I've only ever seen videos and have always craved it. This place most definitely satisfied my cravings and made me want more. I got one of the mixed pork and beef combos and it was so filling. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place and loved Annie and Hannah as they consistently checked up on us. I didn't know that traditionally they cook the food for you, so it just even made the food taste better. My Uncle was in town and wanted to eat Korean; so we drove to Carrollton to try this new spot out for lunch. Let me just start off by saying if you don't like crowds come during lunch; we were the only table there and it was nice. The waitresses told us during dinner it is crazy busy. I love that for the restaurant but for my own selfish dining experience I prefer not busy; so lunch was perfect for us. The place is so nice; it reminds me of the restaurants in Korea that I went to when visiting my family. The waitresses were soooooo nice and amazing. I literally will go there just to hang out with them. The menu is quite large and they offer a lot of good options. The only complaint I have on the menu is the combo choices. We had to order meats separately because there wasn't one combo that had all of the meats we wanted. We ordered the signature house spicy pork bulgogi, the premium marinated kalbi, and then the marinated rib fingers. As well as the make your own rice balls. The quality of meat is definitely better than some places; but I felt the marinade hadn't really been left on the meat very long. The marinated kalbi was wonderful but didn't have that flavor I'm used to. The banchan they offer is great and the rice balls were so tasty! I wouldn't say this is my favorite place in DFW, but it's definitely in the top three. Koryo is still my favorite. But definitely check this place out. read more

It is not AYCE but they do have preset combo meat dishes in different sizes (small and large). It was recommended that we order a small combo and add extra dishes or meats if we wanted for our table of 4 (3 adults and 1 child). We ordered the small beef combo, added a pork jowl, cold noodles, jap chae, and steamed egg. Total cost of dinner was $160+ (without tip). The quality of meat is better than others but we prefer other places for the cold noodles and egg. Banchan was also good. Service was good and the wait staff cook the meat for you.
