    Grilled Pork Banh Mi
    Viv N.

Yummy food at ok prices!! I've eaten here a few times both dine-in and takeout, and both have only been good experiences. I like their grilled pork banh mi, garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice, and thai iced tea. It's located in an Irvine business complex, which if you've never been in, can be a somewhat strange location. Casual ambiance, endless parking, limited seating but almost never full as most people get their food to-go. Not an authentic Viet restaurant if you're ok with that, definitely more fusion!

I came here on a weekday around noon and ordered the Pork Belly Banh Mi. It was good, but nothing particularly stood out to me. I do think there are other places with more affordable prices. On the plus side, the service was super quick, and they have two self-ordering kiosks, which I really liked. The parking lot is also huge and convenient, and there are plenty of tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your food. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

Food was fresh and amazing. I love the quick service despite it being peak lunch hour during weekdays. It's a small hole in a wall tucked away in the business area of Irvine. Definitely recommend going at non peak time. We got for the office to share: Garlic Noodles with BBQ chicken and grilled pork Banh Mi with grilled pork Kimchi fried rice with BBQ chicken Shaken beef rice bowl Everyone loves the green/aji verde sauce. Shaken beef rice bowl was probably my most favorite item from the bunch! Would go and try their pho some day.

I got the popcorn chicken and the fries during happy hour. It was crispy and the sauce was nice. The portion size was decent. I ordered online but they have kiosk you can use inside. They have a bell you can ring and seating inside. Overall, the wait was decent and the food was decent I would go back to try their pork belly next time.

The food came out super fast after we ordered. The garlic noodles were packed with garlicky flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had a great chewy texture. We also absolutely loved the pork belly, it was incredibly crispy and delicious. My favorite was the pork belly banh mi. The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the crispy pork belly paired so well with the pickled veggies and herbs, making every bite so satisfying!

We stopped by for a meal and were impressed by the variety on the menu, especially the extensive drink selection and Happy Hour specials available from 2-5 PM. For food, we ordered the Garlic Noodles with Shaken Steak, Pork Belly Banh Mi, and Popcorn Chicken. The garlic noodles were flavorful with the tender shaken steak. The pork belly banh mi featuring crispy pork belly and fresh toppings on a toasted baguette. The popcorn chicken was crispy, juicy, and made for a great appetizer to share. For drinks, we tried the Lychee Green Tea and Lemon Guava Green Tea. Both were refreshing and complemented the meal well. The restaurant offers plenty of drink options, making it a great spot to relax with friends. Between the tasty food, refreshing beverages, and Happy Hour deals, it's definitely worth a visit.

Everything was delicious! We got a regular viet coffee, a Pandan viet coffee, crispy pork, kimchi fried rice bowl, chicken teriyaki banh mi, and rare beef pho. Everyone was so nice there and the food came out very quickly! The location was somewhat hidden but once you walk in, it is very home like! Definitely would recommend going and I can't wait to try more items!! Go like, comment, follow @mia.haleakala On Instagram!

My coworkers and I love getting Saiga for a quick Vietnamese food fix at work. The pork belly garlic noodles are my favorite -- the pork belly is perfectly crispy and they really load up on the garlic. The filet mignon pho had a rich, flavorful broth, and the pork belly banh mi was warm, crunchy, and super good. Service is always quick, parking is easy, and the whole spot is just really convenient. They also have frozen, packaged pho which I thought was so interesting. Have to get it next time to try!

Reservation: Not needed - fast casual; lot of people inside for a weekday lunch but mostly takeout/deliveries so turnover for tables was high Parking: Super easy parking in lot right outside Vibes: Bright and welcoming atmosphere with greenery, free wifi, and kiosks for convenient ordering Service: friendly and efficient despite the lunch rush Grilled pork banh mi: my personal highlight - perfectly toasted bread and the super flavorful grilled pork; other ingredients well balanced in good proportion Pork belly banh mi: also really great flavor, not super rich and fatty considering pork belly is used so wasn't heavy and reminded me of char siu pork Kimchi fried rice with BBQ chicken: chicken skin had really nice color on them and good portion though kimchi fried rice could use more heat for me personally Everything together was under $40 - a convenient, quick meal for good value!

    Grilled Pork Vermicelli with Eggroll
    Suzy N.

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery is always an easy choice for me because Vietnamese food is usually my first pick when I am deciding what to eat, and whenever I see this spot on our work menu, I choose it hands down. My go to order is the grilled pork vermicelli bowl, which comes with fish sauce on the side and an egg roll, plus garlic oil, pickled carrots, mint leaves, lettuce, and cucumbers. Everything works so well together. The pork is flavorful, the noodles are light, and all the fresh herbs and veggies make each bite super satisfying. I have also tried their garlic noodles, which were tasty, but the vermicelli is definitely my favorite and what I would recommend first. The flavors are balanced, the portions are solid, it's packaged very well so that nothing spills, and it always hits the spot whenever I am craving Vietnamese food. If you are debating what to order here, go straight for the grilled pork vermicelli. It does not disappoint.

Combination Pho Pork Belly Salad Kimchi Fried Rice
    Ana S.

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery in Irvine is located in a business complex, but it's definitely worth checking out. This spot actually has more menu options than the Orange location. It can be a little hard to find at first, but it's worth it. We ordered the Combination Pho, and the broth and noodles were served separately, which kept everything fresh and nicely textured. The pho was good overall, but it wasn't the standout dish for me. The Pork Belly Salad was the highlight. The house dressing was light and flavorful, and the pork belly was crispy and delicious. Both the Irvine and Orange locations are consistent when it comes to quality and texture. We also tried the Kimchi Fried Rice with BBQ Chicken. The rice had great texture and was not just plain rice mixed with kimchi. You could tell it was thoughtfully prepared. The BBQ chicken was really tasty and went perfectly with the fried rice.

    Jenny P.

Usually I really like Saiga, but this dish was a little off. I got the kimchi fried rice with steak and it wasn't good. Rice was oily and didn't have a strong kimchi taste (tasted like they put too much sesame oil) and the steak tasted rubbery.

    Marie C.

I finally got to try Saiga and it definitely lived up to the hype! The pork belly was hands down my favorite. It was tender, flavorful, and had the perfect crispy edges. You can really tell they put a lot of care into it because every bite was so satisfying. My go-to order will now be the pork belly over garlic noodles (or rice if I'm in the mood for something lighter). I also got a banh mi, the bread was fresh and crispy, the pickled veggies added the perfect crunch, and everything came together so well. One thing to keep in mind: they don't have restrooms on-site, so plan ahead. That said, the location is tucked away in Irvine and is super convenient if you're near or heading to the airport. If you're visiting for the first time, definitely order something with the pork belly. It's easily the star of the menu, and I'll definitely be back to try more!

All the other dishes, I personally found the taste of the meat to be a bit lacking in flavor, nothing about the taste was memorable at all, but the way it was cooked was really good, temperature wise. We were in the area and this place was suggested. Maybe we should have tried the pho, but I mean it's the summer time so it's too hot to be having pho so we skipped it. THH Sandwiches was recommended to me by a friend who used to live in the area. I'm a big fan of…read morebánh mì, so I had to give it a try--and I'm glad I did. The first thing I noticed was the line. It looked pretty long, but the staff moved through customers incredibly fast. That's usually a good sign that a place is worth the wait, and it definitely was. Don't let the line discourage you--it goes by quickly. The sandwiches are generously loaded with fillings, and the bread is made fresh in-house. I even saw several people leaving with loaves of bread, which says a lot about the quality. I ordered the grilled pork bánh mì, and it was excellent. The vegetables were fresh, the pork was flavorful, and everything came together perfectly. You can also watch the staff prepare the sandwiches through a large glass window, which adds to the experience and lets you see the care that goes into each order. It's easy to see why this has become a local favorite. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee, and it was fantastic. It was rich, bold, and exactly what I was hoping for. If you're looking for an authentic bánh mì and a great Vietnamese coffee, THH Sandwiches is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back.

The bread was delicious, it had a nice crispiness but was still soft when you bit into it. We also got the grilled pork vermicelli salad with egg rolls. The egg rolls were really good and crispy, especially with the fish sauce. I'm not a big mint person, but I actually felt like it made the salad really refreshing. The pork was again lacking a little flavor, so I wish it had been marinated a little more. Overall, the total for two grilled pork sandwiches and the vermicelli salad came out to $26, which is a steal!
