I like that they have a solid menu with pho and rice dishes. On this particular day, I was hung over and just wanted something soupy but also some solid food, but not too heavy. Not even in a pinch is the pho good here. The tendon and tripe is super chewy and the broth was sour and salty like it's past three days old. The lettuce in the spring rolls was also brown. The service was so slow too. It's a Saturday afternoon and there's one person working. They must not get a lot of business and are having to reuse old food. Walked there while visiting Great Wolf Lodge, next door. Upon walking up to the register, I asked if they had kid-sized phos. The guy, Adam C (according to the receipt) quickly replied "no", and that they only had one to-go size, which was large. No problem. I just ordered a large with extra meatballs so my kids could split it. However, when he brought out my food, I asked for an extra bowl so my kids could share it. He claimed he didn't have any extra bowls. Really!? He handed me my food, and didn't even say thank you. I felt like I was a disruption to him. This review is for their wonton noodle soup and egg rolls only: One day I was having a crazy craving for egg rolls that come with all the veggies/herbs and fish sauce. Turned to yelp and found this place. Didn't want to just order egg rolls so I also ordered their wonton noodle soup. I downed their 5 egg rolls in one seating and paid for it later. My body didn't like all that oil all at once. The egg rolls are thinner and longer and super crunchy. Fish sauce is a bit on the salty side. While their wonton noodle soup is not the best I've ever had, but it's still pretty darn good. The wontons are very flavorful and tasty, the meat texture is perfect. Reminds of the wonton noodle soup I had in Saigon. I normally don't like the red pork meat (xa xiu) that comes with it, so I usually order without. First few times I got 5 wontons. One time, asked for no xa xiu thinking I will get extra wontons - nope lol. The last 2 times I ordered, I actually only got 4 wontons instead of 5!!! I was ok with 5, but 4 is not cutting it. Yes yes I counted them lol. So this time I ordered without xa xiu and an extra order of wontons on the side. The girl informed me that an extra order comes with 4 wontons and it's $2.75. So I was expecting to receive a total of 8 wontons. Opened my extra container expecting to see 4, but I was pleasantly surprised to see 6 wontons. Opened my main one and saw another 6 wontons!!! So I got a total of 12 instead of 8 that I was expecting. Soooooo they probably think I must really love their wontons so they're giving me extra hahah. I believe I was the last customer before the kitchen closed on a pleasant Friday night, but no one made me feel the need to rush. Very friendly, quick and no-nonsense service. I ordered dark meat chicken pho, and the broth was piping hot and delicious. The noodles were fantastic (not stuck together like hurriedly thawed and heated in hot broth). Bean sprouts and fresh basil were not wilting, as in some restaurants when it's the end of the day. A big bowl that filled me up for $8.00, including tax!
