I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm glad I finally did. I believe they recently moved so it's now inside Lucky Seafood Supermarket. They don't have a menu because they only serve one item which is wagyu pho. It did take a while for the pho to come out because they are short staffed, but the taste made up for it. I thought the pho was delicious! The broth was clean and full of flavor, wagyu was tender, and veggies were fresh. The owner was very nice and friendly. So this restaurant is known for their Wagyu beef and only had one type of bowl. One bowl is $18 and the portion is perfectly filling. The broth was clear, which indicates they simmered it at least 24 hours to cool down the bone marrow. The meat was tender and soft. The broth itself was rich and flavorful! No seasoning or additions were needed, but if I want some spice they do have sriracha. Overall the experience was fantastic, there's enough seats for large parties. Went grocery shopping at Lucky Seafood 2 Supermarket and had the pleasure of meeting Tom, the owner of Pho Akaushi. We got to talking he is one of the nicest, most hospitable people I've ever met. He told us about his restaurant which is now located near the entrance of the inside of supermarket. I was so impressed by the review that the well known food critic Brad A. Johnson wrote but we were in a hurry since we had live seafood in our cart. Tom was nice enough to make us sample bowls to take with us, and let me tell you!!!! But I have to highlight a hidden gem that I hope more people will soon discover. This spot is tucked away near the entrance inside Lucky Seafood 2 Supermarket. When I went, I didn't see any signage outside, so if you don't know where to look for it (or if you're just walking by), you probably won't even know it exists. And once inside, all you'll see is a small folded sheet of paper with the words "Pho Akaushi" written on it. But once you find the spot, you're in for a delicious bowl of pho! As far as I can tell, it's run by one person at the moment (Tom, a very friendly guy who will chat with you if the place isn't busy). And there's no menu, so you pretty much just order the one thing that he serves: an $18 bowl of pho with very clean but flavorful broth with a variety of wagyu meats. I used to check out this spot when it was open in Lake Forest before it seemingly disappeared and then bounced around a few other locations, so happy to see it finally have found some footing in this new spot. But yeah, it doesn't seem like too many people know about it, yet so hopefully more people discover it soon! read more

How are you gonna eat everything and leave a bad review over a miscommunication mane. As someone who was also here and experienced it first hand, you would know from signs that they don't have a POS system set up yet because they're newer and that it's being worked on. Because of that, they accept cash, Zelle or Venmo. Nothing suspicious at all, also very Vietnameseful, and the owner was only trying to offer multiple solutions he's a sweet older Vietnamese man. They also give out samples (located at the cash registers) because it's a way to get people to try your food and spread the word? Like Costco does this idk what the problem was.
