    Bento combo 3

Bento boxes are a ton of food here and pretty good value but man, the sushi was pretty fishy and I had to spit out the tuna lol. Also the pork katsu was razor thin and very average tasting. Hate to ding a local establishment, but the sushi wasn't fresh here but I did appreciate the generous portions for the price. Service was friendly as well.

We came as a larger group of 6 for dinner on a Saturday and were seated very quickly. Alexa was very quick, helpful, and energetic. We ordered 24, 46, 55, 58, 59, and the chicken katsu (a few other dishes that I forgot the name or number as well) and everything was delicious. The food was made and delivered pretty quickly, even with a very full restaurant! I am extremely impressed with the service and the smiles and most importantly the taste and quality of the food! We will definitely be back.

This is a great casual and reliable sit down restaurant for sushi that is affordable compared to other sushi places in SoCal. The service is quick and the sushi is delicious and great quality. They also have so many more items on the menu for those who do not like sushi or have a taste for other Japanese dishes. Be sure to check out their daily deals that happen a few times a week depending on the day.

Overall, wonderful experience! I certainly enjoyed my grand meal with Tempura Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Something Wrong Roll, Jalapeño Bomb, and Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream! Everything was delicious, but little improvements needed. The Standout Excellent Customer Service by Barrett, sweetened my dining experience even more! The food is 4 Stars, while customer service is totally 5 Stars all the way!!! This ultimate classic sushi joint is worth a stop, if you haven't already tried it. I only wish they had Toro. Didn't see any on their menu. By the way, their menu offers many options. Clean and spacious with ample parking. Thanks, Barrett! Highly recommended! Enjoy, Yelpers!! And there you have it...

I liked it. Came in for dinner with a friend. Inside had simple and tasteful decorations, and a good amount of seating. They got plenty of sushi and rolls on the menu. But I love a good bento combo. The dinner combo was good and filling. My friend got the yellowtail banzai roll and liked it. Would definitely come back to try more. Service was great. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot.

The manager Henry is rude I politely asked one of the servers if I can use the restroom and he said yes I was quick and kept the place clean, as I was leaving Henry got in my face with his nasty stank breath and told me it wasn't a public restroom and next time I had to ask when I did already, I seen him scolding the server that let me use the restroom I hope Henry gets disciplined for his unprofessional behavior.

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years and it's definitely our go to. Their fish is pretty good quality and you're definitely getting your money's worth because they don't skimp out on the fish.

Our server wasn't very personable but also not rude or terrible. I felt a little rushed even with a small menu. Being that I had never been there before, I wasn't sure what to get so I pretty much just blurted out whatever. What we ordered: 1) Black deluxe chicken paitan with pork - the broth was so tasty, it was absolutely delicious. The pork slices were generous, however, it was DRY. 2) Pork chashu - for my kid. They loved the broth as well and also felt that the pork slices were dry. I wanted to give 4 out of 5 stars, but I am going to hand them a 3. I loved the tasty broth, but the pork was too dry. How could you mess that up as a ramen restaurant? The portions looked a little smaller than what I am used to paying for much less money. That photo of my black deluxe chicken paitan with pork is very deceiving. It looks like a lot, but it definitely wasn't. I usually can't finish my bowl of ramen in one sitting and take the other half home. I barely had any broth in there, and being that the broth was very good, I was disappointed to run out of it before I was even done with the noodles and meat. Would I return? Sure. I liked the food. It's not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but if I was around the neighborhood and wanted ramen, I would dine there again.

Once the whole party was seated & our order was taken, we received our delicious ginger salad and miso soup quickly. When our chef arrived he was ready to put on a show! He was so fun, engaging and very genuine. All of the food was amazing. I got the filet mignon steak w/ fried rice and my husband gets the sumo steak. The filet mignon is definitely worth it but if you prefer more meat, the sumo steak is the way to go. The drinks are affordable and compared to other teppanyaki places, the food is affordable and absolutely worth it. They also offer a happy hour in the dining room only - does not include the teppanyaki grill area. Truly one of our favorite places!!

3.5/5 Stars - Nice Experience, But Some Service and Timing Issues…read more We visited Tabi-Ji Teppanyaki for my husband's birthday and had an overall decent experience, though there were a few things that would make us think twice before returning. We chose the dining room seating rather than the teppanyaki tables. The staff did offer us the teppanyaki experience, but since we don't eat red meat or chicken from certain places and weren't sure how the food preparation process worked with mixed ingredients, we opted for a regular table instead. One downside was the seating arrangement. We were seated away from most of the other guests, and it often felt like the staff forgot we were there. Our original host/server was attentive and friendly, but once they were busy with other tasks, it became difficult to get assistance. It was also not busy for a Tuesday evening. We found ourselves waiting for long periods or having to wave someone down, which wasn't ideal, especially for a birthday dinner. As for the food: * Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll (4/5): Fresh, good quality fish, and a generous portion. A solid sushi roll. * Garlic Edamame (4/5): Flavorful and exactly what you'd expect from a good appetizer. * Lobster Duo with Miso Soup, Salad, and Fried Rice (3/5): Unfortunately, the lobster was quite chewy and seemed overcooked. The miso soup and fried rice were both enjoyable and helped make up for it. * Unagi Donburi (4/5): My husband's meal came with white rice, miso soup, salad, and fried rice. It was his first time trying eel, and he really enjoyed the soft texture and flavor. He said he'd definitely order it again. Our biggest disappointment was the timing of the food. The Unagi Donburi arrived significantly later than everything else. By the time it came out, we had already eaten most of the appetizers and other dishes and were pretty full. It's unfortunate because it seemed like a dish that would have been much better enjoyed fresh, but we ended up taking most of it home. Overall, the food ranged from good to very good, and being able to reserve through Resy and use our Amex dining benefit definitely helped offset the cost. However, considering the price point, we expected more attentive service and better pacing of the meal.

It was mediocre and overpriced for what it was, if my memory serves. Even though we live nearby, we've always had to drive out for decent sushi. But 10 years later, we decided to give it another shot. I was debating between Sushi Imari and here, and I chose here because it's owned by a Japanese owner. I ordered saba (mackerel) first, to test how they handle the basics. It was nasty. The skin didn't look appetizing at all, clearly not in good condition. Failed. Then the rice. Nigiri needs well cooked rice with perfect seasoning, but the quality here was horrible. You could tell they're using old, cheap, low quality rice. The hamachi was meh, ruined by the bad rice. The salmon was cut irregularly, the halibut was fishy and not fresh, and even the jumbo scallop lacked freshness. You can clearly get better elsewhere. Sushi Noguchi, I'd respectfully suggest you either rebrand as a low end sushi spot (or even a conveyor belt place) to match this quality of fish, or, if you don't know sushi well and don't mind overpaying, you might still enjoy it here.

I was stunned!! It made me sick to my stomach to think of some unassuming family walking in for Japanese food and being accosted by this kind of content. And even though I am an adult, I was uncomfortable with this being on while we were there. She alluded to the fact that if children were to come in she would turn it off, but she had no way of monitoring what scenes were playing, she couldn't see the TV and was busy behind the counter. This was wild and I am still shocked that she decided to do this. What terrible decision making skills. Please talk to your employees about the content that is playing for guests. This could cause really big problems for this place if the wrong people walked in on this type of content in a family friendly environment.
