Overall they deliver a fairly consistent experience. The lines, like any drive, through can be long, on average 8-12 minutes but it can be 15+ if it's typical rush hour times. The app allows pick up which will let you avoid the wait. Some items will be more prone to being dry just because of the recipe (for example the fiesta breakfast burrito has tortilla chip strips which sucks the moisture out of the whole thing). About 80% of the time it's well made, and 20% of the time it's a bit overcooked, or they forget a salsa/sauce packet. For how busy they are I think they do well. Great for bulking (the wraps and burritos) or for general healthy-ish eating (the salads) but the wraps do have a generally very high sodium content. Almost all the wraps are well into 1500+ mg and some are over 2000 mg and no matter what there's always a pretty distinct salty aftertaste. The salads are mostly fine but still have a lot of sodium. The only sugar bomb is the Roasted autumn wrap and salad and the lemonades/flavor shots for the coffee so I would avoid those. I'm also unconvinced by their coffee but I do like their iced teas. I had an unfortunate experience at this location today that has made me write this review. I order ahead and went to pick up my food at the window. As the person was walking to fill the drink for my order she itched/rubbed her nose and proceeded to fill the cup with ice and tea. When the drink was given to me I asked if she just itched/rubbed her nose and asked for a new drink, she looked at me let out a sigh and slammed the window. She had another person get my drink while she washed her hands and I asked to see a manger and the girl came back and said the manager was on break. This place has to be a joke. 5.50 for a Cobb salad. 8.90 with chicken and shrimp added. It's so much food. I eat this place at least 3x a week. You can't beat the price or the value with whats in it. Coming from military no matter the effort if its mass produced some will slip. Now I will say the frequency could be a lot less but still. If I find a bug I get a new one. It's helping my weight loss journey while keeping me full so I don't overeat. Calories are down with this place getting the toxins out my body. I just add salmon since they don't serve it. It's very sad that you need to be lazy and go through the drive thru instead of walking up to the window. When my hubby wants to grab a meal from one of the local fast-food joints in our area, I usually give him the straight-arm and head immediately to my neighborhood Salad and Go! It doesn't matter why you're eating salad but nobody likes it when you have to pay $12 for a salad when you can get a heartier meal for that price point. It's just a pile of leaves, right? I challenge you to find a meaty breakfast burrito for under $4 that is as fresh as the burritos at Salad n Go. You can't do it. It's just a fact. My only qualm about the burritos sometimes is that they wrap them so short that there's a lot of extra tortilla in the ends. I usually end up peeling some of the layers back. But again for $3.24 I absolutely don't mind. And the fact that they added green salsa to the menu just makes it more likely that I'll be getting burritos every weekend. Manager Noela was very rude and unhelpful. I ordered three salads and my Cobb had no hard boiled eggs. When I called, she hung up on me the first time. It was super loud and she said she couldn't hear me. I told her to turn down the music which was blaring. She said call back when I'd calmed down. When I called back she was condescending and rude. She told me there was an egg shortage they had no eggs for weeks now. I told her I would have like to have known. She said everyone tells people and they offer another protein. That did not happen. It truly sounded like she didn't believe me and at this point I just asked for her name and if it was privately or owned thru franchise. I will drive to San Tan to get my salad as long as Noela is in charge in Casa Grande. She is very aggressive also. Kept saying, is that all, anything else. She needs to be trained in customer conflicts and how to resolve issues. She could have offered a discount next time or even an apology for the egg mix up. I've gone multiple times and lately they can't figure out how to make the salad correct. All I ever ask is to take off the brussel sprouts and grated parmesan and add shredded parmesan on the autumn salad. Every time they leave the sprouts and grated parm. They also forgot the chicken in my salad. How is this possible. Not sure if they don't read the order or just pre-make everything and don't care to look at the customization but it been wrong the last two times. I will no longer order the salad from this location. Also they take forever at this location even when it's pre ordered online. The parking lot and drive thru is a mess as well. Can't park near the building because the long slow line at the drivethru blocks all the parking. Overall not a great location and I likely won't return again.
