Tucked away in a retail strip, this little gem of an Israeli hole-in-the-wall delivers a dining experience that's nothing short of spectacular. Their chicken schnitzel sandwich is pure perfection, and than their homemade Kubbeh is undisputed star of the menu. Whether you're a first-timer or a lifelong fan of this traditional dish, the kubbeh served here will leave a lasting impression. The space may be modest, but it exudes charm, warmth, and authenticity. Gilad & Primo are amazing at putting together comfort food and tasty dishes with friendly service. this place is a must-visit. It's the kind of spot you'll want to keep secret, but the quality is so good, you can't help but share it with friends.

Very disappointed with the way this sandwich was made. They made a mistake with the first order and when they brought the second order my boss was removing the jalapeños from his sandwich and found this Hair in the sandwich which was so disgusting.

the food was great , fresh, and they were very generous with the portion as well as with the side salads. I highly recommend and will definitely come back

What more can you ask for? It's healthy. It's quick It's fresh and the staff is super friendly. The sandwiches are unbelievably tasty and the salads are delicious

I enjoyed one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had at this Valley gem. The green omelette baguette was loaded with fresh veggies, hummus, shug, amba, eggplant schnitzel, pickles and it elevated my neshama to the next level. The service was friendly and the restaurant is immaculate -- they clearly take pride in what they're doing and know how tasty their food is. I can't wait to come back.

As I pop in to Yelp to write this review, I realize I am only one of the couple hundred amazing reviews so far for this awesome establishment. I went in there with my good friend last night for the first time and you can feel the great hospitality right away, the superior quality of food, and experience that's different from majority of other, fast casual restaurants around. We enjoyed middle eastern entrées and loved talking with the handsome gentleman that was taking care of the restaurant that evening. I'm really thrilled to have found this spot and will be going back for more great food and service.

After so many great reviews, I just went in so excited to try the food but only 1 employee (at the register) was wearing a mask. The ones I could see in the back food prep area were not wearing masks. I was literally the only one in a mask including customers. Open salad bar concept where the food sits out and open to anyone (and their germs). This is 2021. Do better. No thanks. read more

just had the best tasteful sandwich in california!! loved the variety of dressing and variety of eating form Wheather its in a bowl or inside of a baguette or a simple plate very nice place in general, excellent service and on top of that once you get into the dinning you can enjoy a nice welcome greeting. The food is very high quality. They give really great portions as I have had 2-3 meals typically from ordering a chicken salad. The veggies are very fresh and the chicken is separated so everything remains fresh for each time I eat my meal. I was able to customize everything about my salad and it was awesome as I was able to figure out what I liked for each meal. I will continue going here. read more

When I pulled up here. I was a little skeptical because it was kind of tight on parking in a older looking strip mall. But I'm so glad I decided to give it a try. I got a tuna salad. Cost me total approx $15. The ingredients were extremely fresh. The Tuna and pickles were so very tasty. The portion was large enough to feed 2. I had an option for bread on the side which I passed on. Some of the ingredients were ones that you won't find at every salad bar. I'll defiantly be returning here. Yummy can't wait! read more

I wish I could leave feedback for the food but I can't. Showed up there twice. There was a small line when I arrived. No one acknowledged me or let me know they would be with me in a moment and they let people who weren't even waiting in line order first even though I'd arrived first and waited for a good while (10+ minutes) . I tried to get someone's attention but was ignored. I don't know on what basis they prioritise their customers but just know if you don't meet that basis, you're probably not going to get food from this place. read more

I mean, this is getting ridiculous! We eat here at least 2-3x a week because the food is THAT good and they are ALWAYS CONSISTENT!!! I wish other businesses would learn from the Salateam staff and model. It's a home run every time. Exceptional customer service every time, food as fresh as can be, and sooooo much food and extras for the $$. No small portions here! I love this place. Lital and Bar, are so lovely and helpful, they keep us coming back :) read more

Order a side of schnitzel last night and let me just say OMG (4 big pieces)! I have had schnitzel before, my old stylist is Hungarian and would always make me some homemade and this is right up there with her homemade Hungarian schnitzel. I wanted to order a plate, its a bit costly, for delivery but im really picky with my salad toppings and there are no options to add what I like or omit what I dont like. For sure will be getting the schnitzel again. read more

I mean... WOW! How lucky are we to have found this GEM of a restaurant during a pandemic! I love to support small business, especially ones that go FAR to make sure we have a great experience. Their food is amazing, (I love the chicken sandwich), and the salads were fresh and healthy. My husband got the salad - and he is not usually a salad eater but he LOVED IT!!! The staff is so accommodating and they asked us before they served us if everything was prepared well... and it was!!! Can't wait to go back! This might be my NEW FAVORITE PLACE IN THE VALLEY!!! read more

My wife found this place and we finally came here, about 2 min from our house, it's DELICIOUS! really good food and great service. What I love about it is you can get as many salads with you plate, not like other places that limit you to 3 or 4 sides. Will definitely come back. We had the chicken plate and chicken thigh. I came here for the first time today to grab some lunch for my husband and I and boy was it DELICIOUS! Got a Schnitzel Baguette with all the options on it and a side of fries. I am picky about my schnitzel and this one was flavorful, moist and not dry like most places, the tahina was not watery, the hummus had great flavor and all the salads and bread were SO fresh. The service was great, the place was very clean and plenty of parking. Can't wait to try more of their menu items. My husband is picky also and loved the sandwich. read more

From the moment you walk into Salateam you're greeted by the warm staff. The salad bar is fresh and offers endless options. The food was beautiful and DELICIOUS. The World Cup was on, it was great to chat with everyone inside, it all felt very welcoming and nice in the restaurant. All kosher btw too, but even if you don't keep it I'd recommend this to anyone. We ordered 2 to go schnitzell plates with Israeli salad and spaghetti. The schnitzel was extremely thin at some areas the breading was thicker then the meat (how is that even possible to do) and the pieces themselves are small as well. The "Israeli salad" had cucumbers only not fresh and no flavor you think for Israeli food restaurant they will know the components of Israeli salad but I guess saving money on your customers is more important then satisfying them (you missed the whole point of a restaurant). I don't write reviews but this was just bad with the quality of food and portions we got for the amount of money we paid. This place started very good at the beginning but since then it's just going down hill but this is a new low. I guess people vote with their feet when it comes to restaurants... The place was empty when I placed my order... I should know that was a bad sign and just cancelled my order. Good luck to you definitely NOT recommending this place. read more

I recently visited this Israeli restaurant, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The place was filthy, with dirty tables and floors that hadn't been cleaned in ages. The staff was incredibly rude, acting like they couldn't be bothered to serve us. To make matters worse, the food was absolutely terrible. It was obvious that everything was frozen and not fresh at all. The lady at the front was playing with her hair and didn't wash her hands before serving us hummus. Everything is wrong with my online order! This is the third time and I gave them another chance JUST TO SUPPORT THEM ! They advertised that sandwitch would be in a baguette, but they sent it in pita--fine, but they didn't even follow what was supposed to be in the order The meat was raw, the fries quality were terrible quality, and overall, this is unacceptable, this will cause health hazard !!!!
