I was greeted immediately by a friendly host who sat me and explained the specials and took my drink order Coffee and water. After 2 years, we decided to try Sally B's again. We previously stopped going because the service and food became so bad. This visit was even worse than before. Our waitress was an older, heavey set brownish haired woman. Took her forever to take our order. By the time she brought our meal our drinks were empty. She never once asked if we wanted a refill. The food was of such poor quality and bland that we both ate less than half our meals. When she brought the check, she never asked how the food was, if we wanted anything else or a drink refill. Then, she tried to charge us $2.50 more than what the menu price was for one of the meals; her response was "I had a blonde moment". We couldn't believe her horrible service that was downright rude. Worst we've ever experienced. Needless to say, we will NOT ever go back or recommend this dump. read more

Although the decor didn't really do anything for me it was bright, clean, and comfortable. The menu was standard American diner fare and the coffee was just ok, but the execution of the food was spot on. The Hash browns and grilled potatoes were well seasoned and the omelettes were a little crisp on the outside and fluffy throughout. No skimping on the fillings either. One star because the food wasn't absolutely terrible, it is just extremely overpriced especially for the amount of food you receive. The staff have poor attitudes, which no one wants when they're trying to start their day off with a good breakfast. Too many other restaurants around to waste your time and money here. read more

I've read a few of the other reviews and it seems that people have found it either terrible or terrific, clean or dirty. When I was there it was fine - an old fashioned diner with pretty standard American style fair. They are open early and nearly every day it seems. My breakfast was well prepared, fresh and hot. We are a family that used to love the food here, unfortunately it has really gotten flavorless. The wait staff used to be quite friendly despite the fact we are a young family and their target demographic is over 50. Again this had also deteriorated over time and become rather ride and seem to avoid more and more. I really wish the chili had flavor and the asparagus soup want all woody stalks. I can no longer recommend this place :( read more

This place makes they're Gyros better than most Greek places. Fresh always fresh crisp salad lettuce tomatoes and garnishing... The green chili Verde breakfast special is my favorite! They have a good variety on the menu home cooked meals. read more

Have been coming here for years as the family brunch go-to and have never had a single bad experience. Food is priced very well and made to order. The crew has a very down home style which might not be for people expecting a fancy brunch experience, but that is their loss. read more

Let me start by saying...the menu is WAY TO HUGE....we just wanted a simple breakfast and the waitress was an idiot...couldnt even get our food right....my eggs where so runny,and i only got one piece of toast.... so i told her to take them back, i needed over medium...she took my whole plate....and 20 mins. later...the manger came over...i told her i was waiting....she said the waitress thought i didnt want the food....auhhhggggggg...any who...they ended up making me another plate.....and being i guess the cooks are idiots to...cuz they ended up making my husband another plate also..... the place needs a good clean up...the menu needs to be cut down...and they need good help...and good food...we will never be going back here again...that was our first and last time here read more

Breakfast skillets are great and came out fast. Country fried potatoes were good, made from fresh not frozen, a pleasant change indeed. A carafe of coffee makes more sense than hovering wait staff, thank you! Just a touch on the pricy side, but good value. Don't let all of the old people scare you. While we were out of town at our church's international Bible conference, on the day of check out from the week my husband and I love mom and pop shops and wanted to try a local fave, I called front desk and was told about this Gem of a place!!! Loved the food, the atmosphere and I will never forget the tender chicken fried steak, eggs were perfection and the meal over all was a 5 star experience. Our food, coffee just everything was priced just right and we got our money's worth!! This will definitely be a place we shall return to when visiting every six months for our church conference! Omelets served all day with 52 choices, waffles, burgers, salads, sandwiches and dinner. The menu appears to be more like a book, and turns out to be a "good read". Service provided by a "senior staff" is excellent and prompt with refills on coffee and soft drinks. The food is good, with a lunch special double cheeseburger served with fries and a salad, they even have a Monte "Crisco" on the menu (that's how it's listed) which is way better then it sounds. Good food, great value, great service! We love to go here for brunch after church. Their Friday fish special is also a great deal. Friendly, fast service. I almost always have the #2 special-bacon, eggs, pancakes! The only thing that bothers me is that it sometimes is a bit crowded and noisy, but it would be too much to ask for a quiet formal dining experience at these prices (and nobody else I know is bothered by this). The place is quaint, but, do not order the Ruben, it is the worst and not a real Ruben, they do not known l how to make it at alll. They give you a cup with h Dijon mustard, they do not put it on rye, no thousand island dressing, it was not hot, corn beef was awful. read more

It's that rustic little hometown diner where you can just imagine Alice and Flo telling Mel to "kiss ma grits". The food is fantastic, the service is slow. The place is almost always crowed with a line waiting. Sometimes, if the stars are aligned just right and the moon is on the horizon mid morning, one of the servers just might crack a smile, but I would go for the welcoming faces. "danny d's", "sally b's" , whatever it's called it is good, cheap, consistent, fast, and GOOD. I have been going there for years, the food has never changed despite the name changing. they have a wide variety, breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, shakes, fries, and the A+ friday fish fry. everything I have tried has been perfect. I feel a little out of place there, being 23, as it's mostly a senior citizen hangout, and the older staff is almost always rude, but accommodating for the most part. But the food is so good it keeps me coming back for more. read more

Terrible service. Entire resturants was filled with the elderly, it was like a retirement home. Normally this would not be a problem but the waiting staff seemed to have a problem with me and my friend being under 50. They were extremely rude and acted like we were inconveniencing them just by showing up. The food was decent which makes the terrible service that much more of a disappointment. read more

My wife and I stopped for early dinner and enjoyed the dinner here. She had the chief salad and it was more than she could finish. Next time she'll order 1/2. I had the philly steak and it was Ok. I've been here several times and they're usually pretty good. They have pretty good gyros and patty melts. It's a small place, the wait staff all look like they've been there as long as they've been open and they seem to have quite a few regulars. All in all the wait staff is friendly, the menu simple, the place is clean and I haven't really had a bad meal there. read more
