Well, I was hungry And didn't get a chance to take pictures of our entree but I had the lechonara with rice, red beans and sweet plantain, with chimichuree..... man, I ate it all lol!.... my wife had the roasted chicken with the same sides, she didn't finish it because of the quantity. I tried it and lover it too... the chicken is so tender!... the cafe con leche, forget about!... yummy and the flan too.... service was amazing g and very friendly, check this place out!!

My mom is from Panama and I wanted to treat her to food from back home. I was surprised that they weren't more packed because the food is amazing. Restaurant - It's tucked away in Fleming Island. Very beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating. Felt like home. Service - The owner was so nice and sweet and catered to our requests and questions. Some of the sides my mom asked for I didn't see on the menu. So if you're from Panama and you think of some of the typical foods, more than likely they have it. Food - We ordered a variety of food. Started with the variety of different appetizers. I may cook a lot of these at home, but it was great seeing the variety of chicken and steak and sauce options. I also love when I don't have to cook it. The food was full of flavor. We got very typical dishes that we miss and again very flavorful. Nothing was overwhelming. Finished with a brownie and Chicheme drink. Really good. It was a hike for me, but worth the drive and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend if you're wanting to try Caribbean/Hispanic dishes that are different than the usual offerings. Small business that I would keep going back to.

10000x better than chipotle. Like moms homemade cooking. I'd go there everyday if they had corn bbq

The food was excellent! I ordered the chicken stew with white rice with lentils and plantains. It was delicious. The portions were very generous unlike some of the other restaurants nowadays. The service and ambiance was friendly and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!! Very family friendly.

Love the food! Was very fresh and super delicious! I will come back when I'm in the area again!

If you're looking for authentic Panamanian food, head on over to Fleming Island and check out Saloma's. They only opened two weeks ago, and don't have a website or fb page yet (they are planning on it next month though) but I will put the menu here. Today was the second time in a week that I've been. Knowing legit Panamaian food, it does not disappoint. They will be slowly expanding their menu as well. So far I've had the ceviche, Panamanian platter, cafe con leche, tortillas, hojaldres, kidney beans, salchica guisada and the chicheme. Every bite and sip has been outstanding! The service is excellent as well. Run, don't walk to this place!

Ok, I'm confused. Looking at the menu, it appears to be just breakfast foods but the open hours are until 8 p.m. Is there a wider menu that is not here to see?

I didn't take a photo of it, but at the restaurant the front of the menu has the breakfast options and the back has "non breakfast" foods.

Seasoned so flawlessly I'm convinced a culinary fairy godmother tapped it with her wand. And that salmon sandwich? BABY. It didn't surprise me-- it snatched my wig, slid on my heels, and strutted across the table like it owned the establishment. I wasn't ready. I wasn't worthy. That portion was enormous, that cut was elegant, and I nearly applauded when it arrived. Service? Oh, darling. Legendary. I'm almost certain his name was Josh. The man glided over like he had cues, marks, and a script. Attentive without hovering, charming without trying, helpful without hustling. A hospitality KING. Give that man a crown and a raise. I've eaten my way through this sandwich menu like it was my personal world tour--and guess what? I'm starting back at the top for the encore. The fries? ICONIC. Crisp, golden, irresistible. If you order the chicken sandwich, do yourself a spiritual favor: put that ketchup down like it just insulted your mother, and grab a small cup of that sauce on your chicken for dipping. Your taste buds will ascend and you'll thank me later. Now... the Paloma. My God. That drink sashayed onto the scene sparkling with grapefruit glamour and citrus attitude. It wasn't just flavorful--it was flavorful with FEELINGS. Bright, bold, bodacious. Smooth enough to lull you into diva-level bliss, strong enough to make you saddle up and say, "Another round--because I'm not done being dramatic."

If you do happen to visit during this timeframe, just be mindful that it utilizes the more limited brunch menu. More on that in a bit. Staff greeted me upon entering the building and said I could sit anywhere. Seeing as I was alone today, I elected to sit at the bar for some faster service. The bartender seemed to favor the regulars there and it was about 10 minutes before I received a menu despite not being all that busy. Eventually I was able to put in my order for a draft beer and a Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Surprisingly, the sandwich doesn't include a side of any kind at the price point of $15 even though handhelds and burgers on the regular menu do include sides. I inquired about purchasing fries, but was told that they were unavailable for the brunch period. There wasn't much else available that wasn't more of a breakfast food aside from hummus or tapas. The sandwich came out in a reasonable amount of time from when it was ordered. While tasty with a combination of sweet, salty, and savory from the ham, chicken, and swiss, I thought it could have been better given the price. The value was just not there without a side. I'd consider coming back for their normal menu period, but don't think I'd return for brunch.

Couple it with the blessing out the cook was getting from a "manager" in the kitchen I'll be giving this place a hard pass for a while. It definitely did not live up to my previous experience. As for ambiance I can honestly say there was none. If you want alcohol for breakfast it might be the right spot because all the service happened at the bar.

I ordered from the Dynamic Duo (sandwich & soup combo) menu. I picked the Reuben and Chicken Tortilla Soup because it's been a minute since I've had either. I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened.
