No complaints, just one suggestion, at the service bar where drinks are delivered by servers etc, why not stab the fruit for drink garnishes instead of many hands digging into containers? I'm giving it 4 stars because all the appetizers were amazing and they had a 2 for 1 deal on drinks, Bloody Mary was pretty good. It had live music, great views of the marina, and our waitress was great. We had cocoa shrimp, the fries with the grouper, and the street corn. The only disappointment was when it came to the entree, I had the fried grouper filet and had to return, it was chewy, dry, and bland. Average portion size for the French toast, large waffle portion size & load with the toppings. Bacon was a bit undercooked for our preferences, but they were thick, wide slices. My lemonade was about average size even though the menu stated it was a large, so that was one odd thing that stuck out to me. Our waitress was in training and so there were some slowness & some fumbling over words, but it was also clear that she was in training so I'm not gonna critique that too much; we all have to take the time to learn things right? Went to the restaurant after deep sea fishing alll day as they were recommended to cook our catch and had good service. Once we got a table, the waiter told us he was happy we brought our own fish as they were almost out. During pre service he forgot plates for appetizers, silverware and even drinks. We had to ask him multiple times for the drinks we ordered. About an hour or so of waiting for our catch to be cooked the waiter was sent out to our table and told us that they gave our catch "11 pounds" of different fish to another table. I thought they were kidding at first and then realized they weren't. His solution was we could order anything on the menu and we would be comped 12.00 dollars a person, first of all that doesn't even cover an enteee or appetizer at this restaurant and secondly, we spent almost a thousand dollars on our fishing trip, caught amazing fish and they ruined our experience by complete incompetence. My husband asked for the manager who again he would comp 12.00 a person, he let them know they this was not sufficient and to think about the situation and what occurred, the manager preceded to tell us that the restaurant was now out of fish. Again, unacceptable and another discussion occurred. About 45 mins from being told our fish was given away to another table they told us they contacted another restaurant and obtained 15 pounds of grouper which would be free as well as the appetizers and drinks we had. We were party of 10 people and ended up waiting for food for another hour and spent a total of 3 1/2 hours in the restaurant. Even after the mistake, when the fish was brought out we had to ask for plates and napkins because he failed to bring it out with our dinner. It was an awful experience and ruined our amazing experience of fishing. I can't even put into words the no big deal attitude this place had with such a huge mistake they did. Conveniently located right outside of one of the many excursions offered in the area, and promising yelp reviews we decided ‍ "why the hell not". This place is so good we went twice during happy hour around 5:45. First night we got raw oysters, cooked oysters ( topped with cheese), and mussels in a super yummy creamy sauce). Kiddo- one got the happy hour craft burger with fries and the other got the kids menu cheeseburger with fruit and a drink. It was the same burger, smaller than the bun and cost the same $5.00. Seafood boil- delicious with a tomato/ low country taste, but only gave us one or two of each item. (We shared this dish) Happy hour drink- 2 for 1 but it must be the same drink. We got sangria and margaritas. We preferred the margaritas. Second night- almost the same repeat of the first menu. 2orders of raw oysters, mussels, and one kid menu cheeseburger w/ bowl fruit, 1 kids grilled shrimp w/ fruit bowl and a drink, everything at $5.00 each. For dinner we had to do the Seafood Boil again, but went for a side of sausage and grits. For the next time, we would change just getting 2 kids menu-grilled shrimp/fruit. No one touched the burger! Great hostess, servers each night! The first night we even came right from the beach with just a cover up/ swimming suits. My family and I came to eat here after a whole day at the beach. I was looking for restaurants to eat at for dinner through Yelp and we decided to try here. We were not disappointed with our decision! We had great food and great service. We started off with the dozen raw oysters, they were very fresh and delicious. I ordered an oyster po boy and street corn, my cousin ordered clams and street corn, my other cousin ordered lobster tacos, my other cousin ordered avocado crab bread and clams, then my bf ordered the fried shrimp. Everything tastes great, we were very happy. They accidentally gave my cousin avocado toast without the crab so the waitress put the order in again and they messed up again, and then finally got it correct so the waitress took it off her bill which was very nice of her. If you go, ask for Adriana, she is polite, nice, and attentive. The strip the restaurant was in had metered parking but we went at 6 and asked how the parking worked since the signs were all confusing, and they told us they don't check after 6. So if you're going around 6, don't bother with the meters. The restaurant also has happy hour all day where certain drinks are 2 for $8! I got the rum punch and my cousin got the bloody mary. Started out with the jalapeño corn crab cakes. They were really good!! Tons of flavor! Even without the remoulade sauce. Hubby got the grouper sandwich and I got the grouper cakes with their homemade lobster sauce. His grouper was very good but my grouper cakes were amazing!!! The home made lobster sauce is to die for! The grouper cakes came with a jalapeño rice and cole slaw. Both good. Portion size on both was more then generous and you can easily share one dish. Happy hour is all day. However, the reason for 4 stars is the happy hour well choices are really the deep of the well! We did order one specialty drink for $9 each and they were very tasty. They were super busy on a Saturday evening but my waiter Kris made sure I was well taken care of. He's very mindful of time and has a great memory. You don't have to ask him twice for something.
