    Strawberry matcha
    Christian K.

On my way to a cars and coffee, and some friends have highly recommended this place. I've heard so many great things about this place from tik tok. Today, I was able to finally try it out and let me say that I can see what the hype is about. They have so many great drinks on the menu and I want to try some more of them. Today I got a strawberry matcha, I was surprised that it was pretty good but definitely much better than other places that I've tried. I like the whole setup of the place, gives it the vibe of a train car. Customer service was really great, especially having stopped by first thing in the morning. Overall, I'll be back to try other drinks on their menu

Amazing! Delicious! Adorable little place. All aboard and getbyour coffee under the "San Fernando Station" sign Parking out front. A few tables and chairs behind. Order at the window, pick up around the other side window behind. I would highly recommend ordering ahead if you are in a hurry, as service is a little slow. But that is expected when everything is hand crafted. Pricing is on the higher side. $40 for 2 coffees (Abulitas Latte) & 2 breakfast sandwiches (soyrizo bfast burrito & the BLTA) was painful lol. Food was tasty but the Abulitas Latte was fire!!! Coffee stole the show. Espresso + Mexican Mocha & Horchata cold foam 10/10. I will 100% come back for this again and again. The burrito was yummy, was it the best bfast burrito, no. But still yummy. Love the seasonal flavors. All in all, a cute little local coffee spot with very delicious coffee drinks.

This is a window order only business but there is plenty of seating in the outdoor area. Lots of parking but make sure you enter the correct side. I accidentally entered the opposite and it was unpaved. I ordered the Valley boy latte which is macadamia and chocolate drizzle. It's one of their iced only drinks so no hot version. Its really good! Good taste, not too sweet and small was the perfect size for me. They have some snacks and food you can order too but I didn't try any this visit. Also they had a local artist performing as well. Great outdoor vibe with an awesome drink. Thank you!

My burrito delivered was full of grease or oil, I couldn't even eat it. The tortilla had grease soaking through, the cheese was thick and full of grease, I cut the burrito in half and more grease spilled out. I was really sad because I had been looking forward to trying and paid $30 for delivery. I had to get rid of my meal and find something else to eat in a hurry. I love to support local and I hope this was only a mistake. There was no house made salsa/any salsa that was suppose to be included.

Food and service is good, been coming here a bit since Im local to San Fernando. A cute spot for a drink or for lunch. I got the strawberry matcha which is pretty sweet but a good balance for a savory burrito. The breakfast burrito is really tasty, green salsa is a must.

I have been coming here more often versus another coffee shop i usually go to. Drinks are good, however i don't think they follow instructions when ordering online for modifications. Food is ok. SERVICE lately has been lacking. No hello, no thank you. One time I thought she called my name, i asked the girl, and she confirmed. Then she must've realized it was not and rudely said wait those aren't yours . I had just asked her....anyhow, there's always a way to say things.

The stand itself is really cute and unique. They have a wide variety of drink and food options, with plenty of seasonal offerings as well. The blushing matcha was super cute and sweet, though I wish the matcha flavor was a little stronger. The strawberry cheesecake was not my favorite as it had a strange aftertaste. Customer service was wonderful though and they were happy to offer a different drink to replace it. The food was great and I think a little more enjoyable than the drinks. All in all, a solid option but quite pricey as two drinks and food items were around $45.

Love coming to this place in the afternoon, it's less crowded and definitely quieter. This is my first time arriving in the morning because I heard the breakfast burritos were good and they weren't lying!! Definitely coming back for this matcha with strawberry foam on top because WOW!!!

    Small iced chai latte

I stopped by this San Fernando coffee stand this morning right when they open to get my wife her iced chai latte and strawberry crepes. They already had their usual customer waiting for them to official open. I looked at their menu online first so I knew what I wanted. They charge a 3% fee to pay with credit card so be aware which they didn't tell me until after I saw my receipt. Their tablet wasn't working so I couldn't see what the person put down as my order or the price. The lady also didn't tell me the total either. I asked for a tall iced chai for my wife with easy ice, I already saw online that they charge a fee if you want easy ice. I also got a breakfast burrito with bacon. It wasn't until after I paid and saw the receipt that the lady put small iced chai latter. I just left it as is and waited for the drinks and food. They have outdoor seating here. The iced latte came out quick but I had to wait about 15 minutes for the food to be ready and took it home. My wife like the strawberry crepes and chai latte. The breakfast burrito was fine especially with the green salsa they give so ask for extra if you can and if there no extra fee. The customer service was great when I was here and the parking lot has limited parking.

Been on my list for a while and finally decided to go after my cousin IG: @leonardoughs posted about it which made me finally decide to check it out! Super packed when we went at 11am on a Saturday. It was quite shocking really. Parking was basically full in a tiny lot and there was a security guard which felt unnecessary. We luckily found a big enough parking for my car, most are compact and squishy in general. There was a Live DJ when we went and all the tables outside were full. They had a small canopy where the DJ was and had a handful of people dancing under it. Felt odd for 11am lol. There was a bit of a line to order but it didn't take long at all. Isaiah was a sweetheart and even complimented my pink hair. Unfortunately the drink on the menu that I wanted to order wasn't available, I think they're still trying to work out the drinks on there. I wanted the Horchata de Olla but opted for the Horchata Love Latte instead, iced of course. My bf got the dirty matcha latte with vanilla cold foam and we also ordered a banana Nutella crepe since I've been craving one. It was delicious but the packaging it came in was super messy. The bottom was sticky and had avocado on it, very unappealing since I didn't order anything with avocado. The drinks came out quickly too, idk if that's really good though since there were a ton of people, I expected a bit of a longer wait. Not complaining at all about the quick turnaround BUT the drinks were overly sweet for my taste. My bf's dirty matcha didn't even have ice in it which made the drink really hard to even drink because it was lukewarm and the day was hot to begin with. My drink had a fair amount of ice but again, way too sweet. If you're into sweet drinks, this place may be for you. It definitely feels more of a dessert place if anything. Cute vibe overall, love the theme, but the drinks are not for me. Will probably come back to try their other food at some point! IG: @ammysalamii

Cheddar croissant and white chocolate strawberry iced latte
    Geneva B.

Great spot for good coffee and delicious foods! I got the white chocolate strawberry latte and it tasted just like a Neapolitan shake! Very good quality coffee. We also got the cheddar croissant and it was delicious! The place is super cute located in San Fernando and gives a small town vibe. Happy we gave it a try and will be back when in the area!

    Bannaa cream pie latte
    Rich C.

What a great find. The truck always has a line, seating, and sometimes live music. We tried the sourdough BLT and bacon breakfast burrito. I had the Bannaa cream pie latte. All were super yummy and the staff was great and friendly. Even though it was busy they moved quickly and are super friendly. This is a great place and I will be back.

What really impressed us was that everyone ordered something different, and every single dish was excellent. I had the Brunchy Smash Burger with the double patty, and it was unbelievably good -- definitely one of the highlights for me. Brian chose one of their Eggs Benedict options -- they have six different varieties for brunch -- and his was delicious as well. My dad had the grilled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. Some of the people in our group also did the all-you-can-drink mimosas, which came in several different flavors, and they really enjoyed those too. On top of the wonderful food, the restaurant itself is stunningly beautiful. It was such a lovely setting for a birthday celebration, and we had a really great experience from start to finish. You're drawn in by the familiar, comfortable design featuring mirrored signs with writing in Victorian style fonts that continue onto the menus. They have marble tables and counters, with comfortable chairs, and lots of light coming in through the windows. The staff is all smiles and very welcoming, happy to help you navigate the very interesting bill of fare, and making sure your cocktail is made exactly as you like. I was dining solo, so I sat at the bar, and James took excellent care of me from start to finish. I asked for a Bombay Sapphire Martini with Olives; James immediately offered regular or blue cheese-stuffed olives, and asked if I preferred the martini shaken or stirred. The drink that emerged was well-balanced, cold and very tasty. The menu is filled with all sorts of interesting choices. Some are familiar items like salads and fishes and hamburgers or cheesesteak sandwiches done in their way -- but my eye immediately went to a very unique starter: Duck Fat Potato Confit. Say what? As James explained, it is a whole potato that has been slow cooked in duck fat (confit, as we know) and served as the main attraction in the dish as one might similarly feature a duck leg or short rib. I had to order this, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding dishes I've eaten in a long time. The aforementioned, slow-cooked potato initially appears a bit like a whole boiled potato, but looks are deceiving. Because of the cooking method, the potato holds it's consistency and shape much more than a boiled or baked potato, cutting almost like a protein. It's solid but tender, and as it has absorbed quite a bit of flavor during the cooking, this potato is far tastier on its own than those other iterations. But you are NOT eating this potato unadorned. Oh no, this potato is dressed with caramelized onions, smoky bacon lardons, wild mushrooms and a rich, very flavorful demi-glace. All together, you've layers upon layers of flavor that make you ignore all distractions and really concentrate on the pleasure you're getting from your food. But that's not all... Perhaps the cleverest element of a dish composed entirely of clever elements is the Mornay Sauce. Snow white, and with enough of just the right cheese to add texture to the Bechemel without becoming too powerful, the sauce is plated on the bottom, with the potato resting atop it. Visually, this looks like mashed potatoes served underneath a protein, and it plays the same role texturally -- but because you wouldn't serve potatoes with a potato, the sauce is a lighter accompaniment, whose flavor marries perfectly with the more complex sauce coming from above, and you cannot help but marvel at this stroke of culinary magic. Just wow. I finished with a dessert of Key Lime Budino, which was rich and creamy with a serious hit of sour from the Key Lime. A nice and refreshing shift after the savory richness of my entree. How lucky are the people of Newhall and Santa Clarita that they have a restaurant making such interesting and excellent food? I come up at least once a month for a music event, and how lucky am I to have discovered this place to eat beforehand? And by the way: if you live in the San Fernando Valley, this place is really less than 30 minutes away (without traffic), so the next time you're thinking of going over the hill to a place in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica, you may want to head North instead. I promise you, The Old Town Junction will become your new favorite.
