Good times were had by all. The hookah and food are amazing. But the atmosphere is the best! This place is awesome

Amazing food and atmosphere. Come here's everything is amazing and you will not regret it. The service is amazing.

I went with a few friends and had the lamb kebab. The meat was well seasoned but a little tough. They only had butter knives so I couldn't cut it into smaller pieces. The spicy Margarita was delicious. I removed the cauliflower, rice and garlic potatoes. Service was good - but it was weird that the server stood and watched us write the tip amount.

Best time to come, 3pm on a Tuesday

Mediterranean and middle eastern food are my husband's and my comfort foods, so this was the perfect spot for us to come on a Tuesday afternoon, after running around Dallas all day trying to settle in from a cross country move. The food is excellent and the staff was very helpful/friendly. It doubles as a hookah bar, so if you're sensitive to smoke, you might notice the smell even in the main dining room. But it didn't bother me. My husband is currently doing the keto thing, and he was very happy to find food he could eat :) the kebabs! Meanwhile, I am ALL ABOUT pita and dips! The Labneh, spicy hummus, and baba ghanoush were superb! We look forward to returning.

I had a taste for a fatoush salad and this place came through. It was delicious! I added a chicken kabob for some protein and it was delicious too. They also have a happy hour from 3-6 on certain beverages/beer. Would def come back!

I love the lunch buffet here! They have the best falafels. You can also get buffet as takeout - you can fill up a large Togo container with whatever you want and pay based on weight. I have been coming here for lunch what coworkers (many vegetarian) for over 5 years.

I decided to treat myself to some takeout and I love mediterranean food so I had picked the spot and was quickly disappointed. I had ordered the gyro pita and the pita came in a tortilla that had 4 slices of gyro in it with no barely any lettuce and tomato's. Just didn't live up to the expectations at all. Very fast food type of meal. Won't be returning. This was what I had on the inside when I opened the wrap up.

Paid $7 for this What a rip off! Enjoyed the hummus and wrap though! Wouldn't recommend the baklava ! It was dry and tasted old very disappointing for the price !

Mediterranean food is my least favorite go to food, but I love this place. My last meal ever could be chicken with rice and the chicken here is flavorful and really good. This place is family owned and a favorite place for Mediterranean food in Addison TX. Workers are always nice here, it's a laid back atmosphere and the hookah is good when they open back up, of course, and there's half off on bottled wine on Wednesdays

Stopped here for dinner on our return from Austin and my girlfriend was skeptical about the place as she is the one who chose it and there were only 2 people in the whole restaurant ( Probably being a Sunday night). Ordered lamb kebab entree for me and my gal got chicken kebab entree . The Hummus and Baba ghanouzh blew our mind. Sautéed veggies are amazing. Only issues is with lamb. They are bit undercooked. Pros: ------- Good food Quick service Friendly staff Free parking Note: Make sure the lamb order is well cooked

Pros: I made a reservation for my mother's birthday dinner. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was super friendly and got our drink orders- all which were tasty and well poured! I liked the ambiance of the hookah area, however we chose not to sit there because of a little one, thus no hookah for our party. Con: the food was good aromatic and flavorful. However, not made to order. Understandably so that it would all be made to order since we went on a Thursday night and many businesses are understaffed. However, even the pita bread was not made to order . This resulted in all of our food including pita bread and rice to be very cool to the touch. As if it were heated in a microwave versus oven to hold the temperature. We had 4 adults so not a large party, where this can sometimes happen due to timing. The waiter was pleasant enough to offer to send our plates back. However, my husband and I never send our plates back to the kitchen out of fear it would be compromised. Some people have no problem with this. Overall I give it three stars due enjoying our time, the flavor of the food but mostly due to the customer service. I'd eat here again if I'm the area and wanting Mediterranean. However, I doubt I'd drive from Rockwall to dine here again.

I arrived later in the evening but it was fabulous food and music. The hospitality was on point as well.

Beyond amazing place. I'm visiting from Michigan and called about 10 places before I found this gem!!! I'm suppperrr picky about my hookah and Arabic food being Arabic and from Michigan/Dearborn area. Food is delicious! Hookah came out without me needing to adjust or change a single thing! (Very rare for me to find that outside of Michigan). And the atmosphere is chill and fun at the same time! Owner Fakri and his mom Marvet are such amazing hosts! Felt like I was at family's house. So welcoming . I will definitely be back next time I'm in town and will recommend to my family that is here in TX!

The music is nice and you can tell they really focus on creating a beautiful Mediterranean experience. The food is completely incredible and very unique. This is not your average Greek pita place. This is a restaurant that could easily be in Turkey for some European country. We started with the Mezza platter ( $29) - which included 6 different dips. It's pricey for an appetizer, but it is definitely worth it because it's so unique and flavorful. It was probably my favorite thing that we ate. Everything felt just a little bit overpriced for what it is. My baseline comparison is Hillstones and R&D, and this is definitely Hillstone's pricing, but not the same experience overall. My wife and I shared the lamb shank and the falafel platter and also had a side of cauliflower (which was incredible). My 3 year old had the kids item which was $18!?. it was all very very good. My wife and I had a glass of wine and the average price was $18. They also had no descriptions of what style of wine it was e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon. When I asked the server, he just recommended the Caymus. The service was transactional and something you would get at most fast casual restaurants. I get that a lot of the servers are not professional servers. For the mezze platter, it would've been helpful to have an explanation of what was on it. Basically they brought the food. They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.

Their vegetables taste like they came straight out of someone's home kitchen, not a restaurant kitchen. But let me tell you: the bread here is unbelievable. Warm, buttery, soft... it tastes like it's baked with love. They should honestly charge extra for it, but they don't. The Turkish tea is another comfort -- simple, hot, soothing. Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. If you are looking for a quality Mediterranean experience look no further than this long-standing Mediterranean Haven. Thank you for nourishing the community.
