Good times were had by all. The hookah and food are amazing. But the atmosphere is the best! This place is awesome

Best time to come, 3pm on a Tuesday

Mediterranean and middle eastern food are my husband's and my comfort foods, so this was the perfect spot for us to come on a Tuesday afternoon, after running around Dallas all day trying to settle in from a cross country move. The food is excellent and the staff was very helpful/friendly. It doubles as a hookah bar, so if you're sensitive to smoke, you might notice the smell even in the main dining room. But it didn't bother me. My husband is currently doing the keto thing, and he was very happy to find food he could eat :) the kebabs! Meanwhile, I am ALL ABOUT pita and dips! The Labneh, spicy hummus, and baba ghanoush were superb! We look forward to returning.

I had a taste for a fatoush salad and this place came through. It was delicious! I added a chicken kabob for some protein and it was delicious too. They also have a happy hour from 3-6 on certain beverages/beer. Would def come back!

I love the lunch buffet here! They have the best falafels. You can also get buffet as takeout - you can fill up a large Togo container with whatever you want and pay based on weight. I have been coming here for lunch what coworkers (many vegetarian) for over 5 years.

I decided to treat myself to some takeout and I love mediterranean food so I had picked the spot and was quickly disappointed. I had ordered the gyro pita and the pita came in a tortilla that had 4 slices of gyro in it with no barely any lettuce and tomato's. Just didn't live up to the expectations at all. Very fast food type of meal. Won't be returning. This was what I had on the inside when I opened the wrap up.

Paid $7 for this What a rip off! Enjoyed the hummus and wrap though! Wouldn't recommend the baklava ! It was dry and tasted old very disappointing for the price !

Mediterranean food is my least favorite go to food, but I love this place. My last meal ever could be chicken with rice and the chicken here is flavorful and really good. This place is family owned and a favorite place for Mediterranean food in Addison TX. Workers are always nice here, it's a laid back atmosphere and the hookah is good when they open back up, of course, and there's half off on bottled wine on Wednesdays

Stopped here for dinner on our return from Austin and my girlfriend was skeptical about the place as she is the one who chose it and there were only 2 people in the whole restaurant ( Probably being a Sunday night). Ordered lamb kebab entree for me and my gal got chicken kebab entree . The Hummus and Baba ghanouzh blew our mind. Sautéed veggies are amazing. Only issues is with lamb. They are bit undercooked. Pros: ------- Good food Quick service Friendly staff Free parking Note: Make sure the lamb order is well cooked

Pros: I made a reservation for my mother's birthday dinner. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was super friendly and got our drink orders- all which were tasty and well poured! I liked the ambiance of the hookah area, however we chose not to sit there because of a little one, thus no hookah for our party. Con: the food was good aromatic and flavorful. However, not made to order. Understandably so that it would all be made to order since we went on a Thursday night and many businesses are understaffed. However, even the pita bread was not made to order . This resulted in all of our food including pita bread and rice to be very cool to the touch. As if it were heated in a microwave versus oven to hold the temperature. We had 4 adults so not a large party, where this can sometimes happen due to timing. The waiter was pleasant enough to offer to send our plates back. However, my husband and I never send our plates back to the kitchen out of fear it would be compromised. Some people have no problem with this. Overall I give it three stars due enjoying our time, the flavor of the food but mostly due to the customer service. I'd eat here again if I'm the area and wanting Mediterranean. However, I doubt I'd drive from Rockwall to dine here again.

I arrived later in the evening but it was fabulous food and music. The hospitality was on point as well.

Beyond amazing place. I'm visiting from Michigan and called about 10 places before I found this gem!!! I'm suppperrr picky about my hookah and Arabic food being Arabic and from Michigan/Dearborn area. Food is delicious! Hookah came out without me needing to adjust or change a single thing! (Very rare for me to find that outside of Michigan). And the atmosphere is chill and fun at the same time! Owner Fakri and his mom Marvet are such amazing hosts! Felt like I was at family's house. So welcoming . I will definitely be back next time I'm in town and will recommend to my family that is here in TX!

Fortunately, they had some space on the patio. It was a hot night however they had couple fans to blow away some heat. Food: Started with a salad which was fresh, flavorful and with large chunks of beets, watermelon, and feta cheese. Great appetizer. My wife and I wanted to try a couple of items to share for the main entree, I had branzino. The whole fish, filleted, and grilled. The flavor was rich, without being overly salty nor too oily. The sides 1. Grilled Branzino - Served with quinoa arugula salad 2. Ali Nazik- Chargrilled lamb shish over smoked eggplant puree served with bean salad on the side Both were fantastic. The lamb was cooked just right and turned out moist and tender. The eggplant puree was a great texture; neither too smooth to lose its integrity nor too chunky. The staff was attentive and helpful. Verdict: 9/10: Would definitely go back but with a reservation or in a mindset to sit in the heat on the patio. Also, the deboning process for the fish could've used a little more care, but that didn't take away from the flavor.

The good : flavors were delicious. Our server was attentive and the entire staff seemed happy to have us.The flat bread pide (at another table) looked sumptuous . Chicken shish kebab chunks were cooked well and seasoned nicely and were juicy. The complementary bread is superb. The yogurt dip that went with though was not enough for us to have more than a few bites. Needs improvement: there was no reason why the accompanying (delicious) bean and cucumber salad was 24 to 48 hours old with Limp cucumbers and parsley and flavorless tomatoes. Needs to be fresh daily and use cherry tomatoes or Campari tomatoes for flavor and crispness. Turkish Rice was meh. It was cooked properly but not a whole lot of flavor and perhaps I was expecting more of a Lebanese style pilaf with butter, nuts, spices, onions, etc. to brighten it up. Beyti minced beef had good flavor, but why did they have gristle in it? My dinner companion complains was that this was a cheap cut. The butcher supplier is not paying attention. It also could've used a little bit more sauce on the bread wrap pieces for added juiciness. We ordered the.Tzatziki yogurt dip which helped add juiciness . There was no reason why the Turkish red wine came out warm. I realize that we were in a Dallas summer at 95° at 9 PM and the restaurant was slightly warm but still. Lastly, the owners might think about mitigating the hard surfaces that reflect sound in the restaurant. It's a lively place, but we were subjected to the group of six women who were drinking enough to be loud and screechy across the room - all too common across the city -and I did not need to hear them yukking it up. The place was full on a Saturday night, which bodes well for this restaurant. The staff attitude is good, but I'm afraid this will not be a repeat for me and my companions. .

We arrived early so the restaurant was not too busy but it started to fill by the time we left. The ambience remains upscale casual with a gracious greeting as you enter. We were given one of the half moon booths that faced outward to the restaurant. I ordered the hummus as a starter and it was very good. It's a mild hummus without a strong garlic element. It was very enjoyable. The wife started with babaganoush and loved it. The dip was smoky and very flavorful. For entrees, the kid had the Caesar salad and ate everything except the croutons. The wife had the spiced meatballs and loved them. The meat was tender and the sauce was very rich. I had the chicken kabob and I was in heaven. The kabob took quite a while to prepare, but it was worth the wait. The chicken was well marinated and very flavorful. Best of all, it had a smoky flavor from the char, but the chicken remained tender and moist. It was phenomenal. I wish I could have that every night. It came with sautéed vegetables that were prepared perfectly. And it included a white rice that had a rich buttery flavor. We all enjoyed our meal very much and we were happy to return to this restaurant. I need to put it in the rotation more often.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do.
