This place is great. I am here 4-5 times a week for lunch and usually get the same thing because of the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Carlos makes my club sandwich perfectly each time per my request with the center slice of bread eliminated, cut diagonally rather than in quarters, no mayo and extra pickles! (Cole Slaw on the side) Just so you know...Sandwich Man has been there since the late 70's and although working nearby for the past 40 years I only started making this my usual lunch spot a year ago. Always clean, always friendly and always a good deal for a convenient lunch where you want to take a break from other more expensive places in the NW SFV. Came here for the first time and I was not disappointed at all!! I had the Rueben and it was perfect! The service was very quick and the person that took my order gave me a portion of potato salad on the side to try. My order came with coleslaw and both sides were great. Sandwich was very juicy and cooked to perfection. If you are on the area and haven't tried this place I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches on the menu. The prices are a little higher than most places in the area, but the food is very fresh and tasty. The staff always has a smile on their face and the place is always spotless clean. I highly recommend their salads. They are big and very tasty. For their sandwiches, I would recommend taking the sauce on the side if you are not eating there. They don't skimp on the ingredients but their sandwiches tend to get soggy if you pick up. They do have a credit card surcharge of $0.50 so be prepared for that. read more

This spot is a great hole in the wall type restaurant. I've seen it a few times driving by and always said I would stop by one day to try it out. I finally did, I stopped by in the AM so I was looking for a simple breakfast. Walked in, it's pretty small but it wasn't packed so space want a issue at the time. I was looking for a egg sandwich something which wasn't on the menu. I asked, and they replied by saying they didn't offer, make egg sandwiches. The best part about this, was they said they told me not to worry about abs they would make it for me anyway. Now, I know this isn't a BIG DEAL but as a FIRST TIME customer this makes a all the difference. Great customer service, food was great, friendly staff. So have you ever been to an industrial business center in LA or OC and randomly you find a small cafe that serves random deli food, burgers, and teriyaki? Well this is exactly like one of those places amped. Almost everything on the menu is good beyond what other local specialty places claim fame on 1 or 2 items. The food is fresh and super fast which means the prep is great and date watched. Staff are super nice and helpful. Pre "pandemic" this place was a huge wait at times now its hit and miss Id would call in order to be safe. Highly recommended besides everything is the Chinese Chicken Salad simple but great greens are always fresh no brown edges.
