Chris also repeated my order before ending our call to make sure my order was correct and also asked for my time of arrival. there is a little bit of a language barrier but he did not get upset when i needed him to repeat something nor did i. when i arrived to the location my sandwiches were ready. Great little sandwich shop located in la palma/Anaheim. I used to come here when I worked in Lapalma and I just happen to be in the area. Great sandwiches it's a must stop. As far as service-don't expect much. Owner took a phone order after I was already at the register and ready to order. In cases like this the employees should place the call on hold and tend to the people there in person especially if they arrived before the call in. On another note the person behind me got his sandwich before I did. Not saying I got bad service it was just a bit rude. All this aside, Place is clean and I'd come here over a subway anytime. This was just okay. Definitely not 4.5 stars. Ordered a hot pastrami sandwich. After I ordered from the menu, the gentleman behind the counter presented a piece of paper with a different price than what was on the menu. A little weird. I didn't bother with it though because I know everyone is having a hard time with Covid recovery. My sandwich was extremely hot and the bread was fresh and soft. The pastrami meat was decent quality with very little fat/gristle. They skimped on the mustard so I asked for more... he gave me some packets, but they tasted funny... possibly old. Does it seem lately that everyone seems to be over generous with giving out 5 star reviews on Yelp? To me a 5 star means I'd drive 40+ miles to eat there again. With that being said Sandwich Plus is A-OK. If I happen to be in the neighborhood and was craving a turkey sandwich then sure I would stop by again. But I would never ever drive 10 miles out of the way to eat here. It was a turkey sandwich ... all the stuff inside was fresh, it was assembled very neat. But at the end of the day is that worth a 30% mark up over Subway? Probably not for me. Maybe I'm just a cheap ass that doesn't mind a couple of pickles outside of the bread when I unwrap my sammy? Speaking of bread their's is not spectacular by any means. I love carbs and I ended up taking the top of my bread off. Mediocre bread not worth the carbs, I'd rather eat extra potato chips!
