A hidden gem i found if your looking for a great sandwich for lunch. You can get your sandwich on bread or a sub roll, hot or cold made just the way you like it. The menu is big so lots of choices to choose from. I had a large turkey with bacon and cheese and they dont skimp on portion size I couldn't eat all of it. The service is very friendly and the eatery is very clean. I totally recommend Sandwich Plus. read more

The sandwiches at this place are amazing! I think this might be the only place in Anaheim that offers a true variety of delicious fresh deli breads. Ingredients are always fresh and make the sandwiches taste great! The place is very clean and quiet, perfect to enjoy a peaceful lunch. read more

Quaint little shop with a fairly large dining area. Stopped in after a test at Kaiser because I was craving a pastrami sandwich but ordered a French Dip instead. Sandwich was huge and super yum! And it truly was hot! Gave me a plentiful Supply of au jus. Super friendly service! read more

first time going here and our sandwiches were amazing! the owner, Chris, took my order over the phone and was patient and informative. Chris also repeated my order before ending our call to make sure my order was correct and also asked for my time of arrival. there is a little bit of a language barrier but he did not get upset when i needed him to repeat something nor did i. when i arrived to the location my sandwiches were ready. Chris stopped what he was doing in the back of the kitchen to welcome me and help me check out. his business accepts apple pay which is always a plus. we will be placing orders in the future! read more

Fast Service. Once you order your food the food is made fresh and fast. I barely sit down and setting up my phone my food is called ready for pickup. I enjoy the peaceful and quite restaurant. My go to is the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich, Tuna and the occasional Meatball. Have side salads such as macaroni, potato, chips, and fountain drinks. Also have mexican soda drinks. This place is worth a visit. read more

Great little sandwich shop located in la palma/Anaheim. I used to come here when I worked in Lapalma and I just happen to be in the area. Great sandwiches it's a must stop. As far as service-don't expect much. Owner took a phone order after I was already at the register and ready to order. In cases like this the employees should place the call on hold and tend to the people there in person especially if they arrived before the call in. On another note the person behind me got his sandwich before I did. Not saying I got bad service it was just a bit rude. All this aside, Place is clean and I'd come here over a subway anytime. I have had an intense craving for a chicken salad sandwich and this place did not disappoint. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich with squaw, BLT with scrambled egg, and a side of potato salad. It was great supporting a mom and pop store. The sandwiches were fresh and the the BLT was packed with a lot of bacon! I also enjoyed the potato salad as it wasn't overly mayonnaise-y. I will be back to try more of their sandwiches! They've made me a fan! read more

Does it seem lately that everyone seems to be over generous with giving out 5 star reviews on Yelp? To me a 5 star means I'd drive 40+ miles to eat there again. With that being said Sandwich Plus is A-OK. If I happen to be in the neighborhood and was craving a turkey sandwich then sure I would stop by again. But I would never ever drive 10 miles out of the way to eat here. It was a turkey sandwich ... all the stuff inside was fresh, it was assembled very neat. But at the end of the day is that worth a 30% mark up over Subway? Probably not for me. Maybe I'm just a cheap ass that doesn't mind a couple of pickles outside of the bread when I unwrap my sammy? Speaking of bread their's is not spectacular by any means. I love carbs and I ended up taking the top of my bread off. Mediocre bread not worth the carbs, I'd rather eat extra potato chips! If you come here with no expectations it will be A-OK. If you come here expecting a 5 star oh my god this is crazy delicious sandwich shop you might just be a little disappointed. read more

Have been coming to this place since about 2003 when I use to work in a collections building close by. The owners Chris and Claire are awesome people who despite me not coming in as often since moving to North Tustin, still remember my name. This was just okay. Definitely not 4.5 stars. Ordered a hot pastrami sandwich. After I ordered from the menu, the gentleman behind the counter presented a piece of paper with a different price than what was on the menu. A little weird. I didn't bother with it though because I know everyone is having a hard time with Covid recovery. My sandwich was extremely hot and the bread was fresh and soft. The pastrami meat was decent quality with very little fat/gristle. They skimped on the mustard so I asked for more... he gave me some packets, but they tasted funny... possibly old. Overall, I'd give it three stars. read more

Tried the large meatball sandwich with chicken noodle soup on the side. This was very delicious and the portion is generous. The french bread is delicious and the meatballs are full of flavor. The only minor negative I might have to add is that the cheese is probably microwaved and not grilled, but overall the sandwich is as good as people here commented. Plan to try out all the other recommended sandwiches from here on out. Service is quick and the restaurant is very clean. read more

All the sandwiches I've had here are delicious. The chicken salad is fresh and tasty every time. The meatball sub is warm and super cheesy. They have a daily special everyday that's a sandwich, chips, and a soda for about $13. The guy that works the counter, I believe he's the owner as well, is always very friendly and your order comes out very fast. Best sandwich spot around read more

Came here for lunch after a grueling week for the first time ever after hearing about it from friends. The menu, though daunting, was filled with various intriguing items that each struck me as my next potential meal. In the end, I shared a toasty french beef sandwich with a delectable au jus dip and an avocado, roast beef and cheese sandwich. I was stunned when it came out. It was ginormous! And the meat that had been so generously ladled into the sandwiches as well as the melted cheese glazing the top of the sandwich made for a plate of simple temptation. The avocado added a creamy sensation that brought the texture of the sandwich to life. I get the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sub on a french roll. Solid, hard-working, keep-your-nose-down, don't-ask-questions, under-promise and over-deliver kind of a sandwich. I've only been to this sandwich shop 4-5 times in the last year or so. For some reason I always forget its there. Even though its close to work. Today fortunately I was solo for lunch and was thinking Pollo Loco when the light in my head went on again....right next door is Sandwich Plus. A sammy sounds good. First impressions make a lasting one. Large shop, very clean, great service, nice polite owner, attentive staff, are some adjectives I'd use to describe this place. English was always my worst subject ..... I hope those are adjectives. The sammys are not a bunch of hyped up gourmet stuff with things you never heard of. Nor are they the latest Japanese-Dutch-African fusion deal of the week. This is good old fashioned sammy shop. They make both hot and cold samdwiches with like 50 standard choices. Or you can make up your own as they're cool on improv's too. They even have a bunch of breakfast goodies, soups and salads too. Sides of macaroni salad, potato salad, chips and lots of nice drink choices plus a beverage bar. Food prep and care: Maybe its the Japanese ladies making the sammys but the sandwiches have the detail of sushi. Very neat. Tomatoes pickles and onions sliced very thin, lettuce that isn't falling all over the place, purposely stacked meats an cheeses, Mayo spread thinly and not slopped on the soft rolls like the gorillas at S-way or Togo's do. Food: I've only had the cold sandwiches here. I stopped by here for a quick lunch after going to Fry's in Anaheim. After reading these reviews, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I came here for lunch! I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado (#23) on a French roll and it was pretty good! The service from the owner was also too notch. He was very attentive while I ordered and made sure it was ok to put all the veggies (lettuce, tomato, onions) and mayo/mustard. Overall and great experience and I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone! read more

But I'm SO glad this is close by cause let me tell you, it is so dang good and comparable to those delicious places in garden grove. In a quaint little complex, the restaurant is pretty roomy and clean. Really enjoyed talking to the owners and workers who were super friendly. Banh mi is one of my favorite Vietnamese foods so I knew I had to try it and chefs kiss! I got the specialty (bánh mì đặc biệt) and there was so much meat in there, amazing flavors. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was so strong and delicious, just like I like it. My mom got the grilled beef vermicelli (bún bò nướng) and she said the meat was very soft and had a very nice lemongrass flavor. Lots of veggies were provided and she loved that. My dad got the specialty pho (phở đặc biệt) and there was also a lot of meat which he could barely finish and that's a rarity so he loved that as well! The broth was rich and very flavorful. Definitely going to be my go to spot and so happy there's a place close by whenever I'm craving a bánh mì (which is pretty often) ;) Check this place out and I hope you love it as much as I did!!

The sandwich was fantastic and the extra meat made it extra filling, even tho we split it. The fried rice, which had shrimp & Chinese sausage was also very tasty, and adding a bit more soy sauce helped boost the flavor. There was just one young man taking and handing out orders. He was efficient at his job, but definitely not giving off a friendly or welcoming vibe. As I sat waiting for my order, I watched the lady who was preparing the food and she seemed much happier to be there. (In fact, as I left, I thanked her and wished her a good day). The dining room is spacious with plenty of tables and chairs, although the tables definitely could be wiped down a little more thoroughly ~ mine felt like it had a some kind of film on it. So as a fellow Yelper said, the food was excellent but the service wasn't warm and fuzzy. I guess you can't have it all. I will be back, because after all, it's about the food :)

I had ordered food from this place to deliver to my office. a man comes into my office and starts YELLING!! on the top of his lungs because nobody was in the front. I walk up to him and ask him if he needs help he ignores me and will not even acknowledge that I'm right next to him. I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this sandwich shop. One of the staff members in the kitchen, who was preparing the food, was constantly coughing without wearing a mask. It was very unsanitary and concerning, especially in a food service environment. Hygiene should be a top priority, but it was clearly lacking here.
