Prior to being referred to his business for diagnosis and repair of our Samsung dishwasher, I'd been led down a path of incompetence repair businesses by Samsung. Our dishwasher is now covered by Assurant Ins and Raphael Appliance is contracted w/them. I am impressed by his "follow through" in calling to keep me posted on time windows, even got moved up which was very appreciated. Upon arrival, he listened to what had been happening w/the dishwasher and then got to work. His conscientiousness and knowledge of getting to the source of the problem is to be appreciated. It didn't take him very long to determine what was going on, but to make sure and to avoid unnecessary part(s) to be ordered, he took the time to make sure of what was "loose" in the fan motor area. He was able to remove the "foreign object", reassemble the dishwasher and problem solved! We will definitely be calling upon Santana Appliance in the future. When my 11 month old LG dishwasher threw up an error code and failed to heat water, I set up a warranty repair through LG. The first repair company failed to properly diagnose the problem, basically telling me the water temperature entering the unit wasn't hot enough, even though the water temp. was just over 120 degrees. After calling LG and complaining, they sent Rafael (Santana's Appliance). Rafael was awesome from the get go. Listened to my concern and immediately stated that it could easily be one of two other problems and wondered why the first company didn't pull the unit out to test it properly. Within 10 minutes Rafael found the issue and ordered the parts. As soon as the parts came in he came back and 15 minutes later I had a functioning dishwasher again. Rafael was very professional, took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything to me along the way. FABULOUS!!! I loaded what I thought was a few area of rugs in the washing machine. Not thinking...some of the rugs the rubber on the back was rotten. Well, it pealed and shredded and overall clogged the drain. Thank goodness it didn't do as much damage as it could. What I love best....was the tech took the time to explain the issue. Also, the tech gave suggestions to avoid issues in the future without making me feel like an idiot. Looking at the mess I made and seeing what it took to clear made me appreciate the visit. I was very impressed with the customer service. They repaired my washing machine in a timely manner. Even cleaned up behind themselves and I felt guilty so I offered to help. This is the second time someone from Santana's visited my home. Very respectful and polite. The replacement part took about a week but the repair and time spent was completely worth it. I was in a jam last month with my 4 yr old LG refrigerator not cooling - couldn't find anyone in the area available that would work on an LG (many saying they weren't worth the headache). But I did get a referral to Santana's Appliance, which turns out to be the only licensed LG servicer, which of course is the key! They were super booked, but offered to schedule a visit on Rafael's day off several days later. It was a compressor needing replacement, and Rafael was pleasant and very knowledgeable, explaining the common cause of this problem which nobody else bothers to do. He was prepared with the part, and very efficient and quick on the install! I cannot recommend him highly enough for appliance repair, as he clearly cares about providing great service!! The kindest Qualified specialist I have ever met, I say this Sincerely!! I had two other service people to the house that never completed the work that was needed for my Refrigerator and Freeze!! Mr Rafael Santana was so helpful and informative as to the issue with my refrigerator. I sent him a picture of my model number and product. He even called the manufacturer himself to check if it was covered under warranty. Got the parts ordered and had an appointment made in a few days within me receiving the parts. He even took time to fix the water line within my fridge that wasn't included in what he initially came out to fix. Ver friendly and nice to have such a caring company for customers needs. Our 2-year old LG refrigerator stopped working during the Texas winter storms and LG informed us the part we needed to repair the unit was back ordered *indefinitely*. After several discussions with Mara, she somehow worked her magic and was able to get the part we need and my LG fridge is now finally fixed. Rafael is great! My LG fridge wasn't cooling and they scheduled me for the day after I called. He came on time and repaired the fridge (evaporator and compressor) in under 1.5 hours! Most would do it in 3-4 hours at least. Came on time, worked fast, and communicated really well so we understood the whole process. HIGHLY recommend that if you need a repair for an LG appliance and it's under warranty, call LG and say that you want to get Santana's Appliance. They'll provide you with a number that you can use to give to Santana's Appliance directly and they'll schedule you as soon as possible. Don't waste your time letting LG choose a third-rate service contractor. read more

Terrible repair company!! Do not use them. If the company you are using suggest them for a repair, decline it. They won't provide feedback regarding when they order your parts, but will call you out the blue to schedule a repair. They walked in and pushed one button and said it was one part. The part took 2 weeks to come in and it did not fix it. Because they don't know what to do next, the call GE Technical Support. They said they were on hold to long and would come back after they get an answer what to do next. They call later in the day and said they have to order more parts but could not give a timeline or if the parts are available. Again, do not use!! read more

Our Thermador freezer recently stopped working and we were referred to Santana's Appliance. This has been one of the more positive appliance repair experiences I have had to date. Rafael, the owner, was able to get out to our house within a week, diagnose our issue on his first visit, order the part(s) needed that day and come out the day after the parts were shipped (received). Rafael was communicative, explained the issues, explained what he thought the timing of replacement would be, and gave me updates when it was necessary. Our dryer stopped working and Santana sent out a technician the next day. The tech fixed the problem and although he warned us that the fix was temporary and that the mother board was no longer available and that we would need to buy a new unit in the future, it is still working more than a year later. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The office staff were very good to follow up on the service and the price was very reasonable. I get emails occasionally from them with tips on how to care for and maintain our household appliances. No other company I know of, offers this service. My LG refrigerator water filter started leaking and LG warranty hooked me up with Santana's to address the issue. Rafael came to the house to assess the issue and ordered parts to fix it. Those got installed and it was still leaking. Rafael made sure LG did not drop the issue and stayed on them until the problem was fixed by replacing the parts once again with the correct filter body and filter. So after fixing up our LG fridge for us, our LG oven decided it was feeling a little left out!! It decided it would quit broiling and heating past 350. Since Rafael did such a great job with our fridge, he was our first call for the stove. It took him less than a minute to find the problem; burnt out wire. He had it spliced and fixed in no time.
