We came during what happened to be a busy time on Saturday early evening, but Homecoming weekend it looked like You could sense it was stressed, but the restaurant team maintained ease. Food was good, my table mate had a bento box with teriyaki shrimp and finished it almost in entirety. The app soups and salad were better than most places! Bathroom experience not the best=4.

We Love this place! Wanted to add more rolls we recommend. Sakura roll is fresh! We all love the escolar sushi. Our newest favorites include the pink lady roll, the crazy hand roll and the teriyaki chicken. Everything was delish!

I came here for happy hour. The staff is really friendly and service was amazing. I also got a Lychee Martini for $7.50 on happy hour! The food was really tasty and beautiful to look at. A really cool, traditional Japanese atmosphere tables where you could sit really low to the ground on some of their tables Let's go to Japan baby! I highly recommend this place especially during happy hour.

$14 Shaggy dog to go? No thanks, not going back. Honesty, I would go to H‑E‑B or Kroger for sushi than buying these.

We stopped by for lunch today and decided to try the bento box for the first time. Wow it was so good. We love coming here especially because they have happy hour daily and we love the food here. The quality is soooo good. We are never disappointed. The servers are all very nice as well. This is our favorite sushi place but if you don't like sushi I love the Odon noodles some of the best I have ever had.

Love coming here! The crispy rice and ahi tuna are literally the best I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and happy. The restaurant is a vibe, only negative is they don't have very good phone service. It's my go to for sushi!

My family have been to this location many times and each time it has been wonderful. The atmosphere is very inviting, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend checking this place out as it has some of the best sushi in The Woodlands. Will definitely be coming back! Ps. I definitely cannot believe that I had never been here before what a little hidden gym in I guess he would call it magnolia or the Woodlands I'm not sure these days they both kind of just run into each other. It's on 2978 so I guess magnolia.. Extremely friendly and attentive wait staff which is refreshing in this day and age. Very fresh seaweed salad in the dumplings were cooked to perfection. We had the undo soup it is like Ramen but with a thick noodle. So so good for the soul yumm. With a side of sashimi Unagi Make your tastebuds dance. California roll and a crab roll. Everything was fresh and Mouthwatering.

We love coming here! The food is always wonderful. We get the hibachi plates, as they are our favorite! I ordered the shrimp hibachi and my other half ordered the scallop hibachi. The sauces are delicious that are served with the meal. The fried rice is also delicious! We ordered saki (this was my first time to try it) and it was surprisingly good. It really pairs well with the hibachi dinner. We're looking forward to trying the sushi here. When we do, I'll update my review. Give this place a try. The staff is great, you get your money's worth b on the meal and the food is great!

Favorite sushi place in Magnolia! The price is a little up there but the portions make up for it.

Whether you're there for sushi or one of their other dishes, it's easy to see why this place is so popular. A special shoutout to our waiter, Cal. He was exceptional. Friendly, respectful, attentive, and always seemed to know exactly when to check in without being overbearing. He made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal and genuinely helped make the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be coming back, and we hope to have Cal as our waiter again!

We also decided to a variety of their appetizers: Yakayori - dry Chicken katsu - even drier Takoyaki - ok but comes in set of 3 not the listed 2 Steak teriyaki- ok They also have a secret menu, which is no longer so secret thanks to this Yelper who has posted it. The Asian Tacos were pretty good. The wasabi tako is raw octopus and kind of reminded me of the sannakji that I had last week (except it's not moving). The secret menu also has kimchi and various ramens. For dessert tried the banana tempura. It was fine but no wow factor. Note They have more ice cream than that listed on the menu such as Mango and cookies and cream and another one I forget the name to. Anyway Just ask. Staff today was awesome. Waitress was Stephanie and she was training another. Both were top notch.

The Maki lunch special comes with 2 rolls, soup and salad. The soups and salad were a generous side, definitely more than you'd would get with a bento box. The salad was fresh and had the usual creamy ginger Japanese dressing, delish. For the maki bowls, they were a nice size, and are actually the normal sized rolls you would get from the menu for a spicy salmon and eel roll. I thought for price would be simple hand rolls with just fish and rice and wrapper, but these had cucumber or avocado, sauces and nicely filled. Deliscious eel, spicy salmon had a surprisingly different delicious flavor to it and nice kick. For the spicy miso ramen, it's actually their original tonkotsu with miso and spiciness mixed in. The waitress recommended as the best flavor and although I haven't tried any of their others, it did have nice flavor. Creamy, with layers of flavor and a nice mouth feel that coated your tongue with umami. I am a spicy fanatic, so for me wasn't very spicy, but with chili oil available on the table I could increase the spicy profile. The nice thing here is the ramen toppings aren't all extra so a great deal. Came with chashu, 2 pieces, one on top had been fried with an excellent char and crunchiness to it, especially since the crunchy garlic was on top. Also for toppings were corn, bamboo shoots, nori, rice cakes, and half a boiled egg so no nickel and dime for toppings here . Fast and attentive service so if trying to get in and out on your lunch break, no problem. Quaint, small venue in shopping strip. Quiet though so nice to have conversation with your lunch date. I would recommend and definitely go again

And that's probably the main advantage of selecting this option. We came in with only an hour to spare, with last call being at 2:30 pm (despite the buffet running to 3 pm). But within 45 min we were done. The dishes came out reasonably quick. It's a 2 hour limit if you come earlier and can manage that much food. There's no sashimi. And the slices of sashimi on top of the rice that compose the nigiri are pretty thin. The hand rolls came out soggy which means they were sitting for a while. And they got a ton of rice inside each one. Lots of sauce too especially in the eel cucumber hand roll which I didn't care for as a result. The dragon roll and Conroe roll were both ok. Nothing special in terms of specialty rolls. Shrimp wontons look like crab Rangoon and the crab Rangoon looks like jalapeño poppers. I asked the waitress about this and she said they get that comment a lot. Hmmm. Just beware. Also the skin on them as well as the fried calamari tasted tough which I think usually is attributable to old oil. Not a big fan of the beef tataki or peppercorn tuna appetizers. They had a little kick to them but the flavor was off and the tataki was kind of tough. We were told the Yellowtail jalapeño appetizer is the same as the peppercorn tuna just different fish. So we passed. The mango salmon appetizer is salmon wrapped around a mango slice. Sounds ok but because they drench it in some sauce, it tasted kinda ick. Our order of coconut shrimp never came but we weren't disappointed as nothing through the meal wowed us and it was an afterthought order to fill us up before leaving. Tempura Fried Oreo is your chance to get a Fried Oreo if you've never had one. They come in a set of 3 but you can ask for just 1 if you're full or not a big desert person. Staff was friendly. And the place was pretty busy even late into the buffet hour. I think this place is Chinese owned. Heard a lot of staff speaking it mandarin and Cantonese. And "chi" actually means eat in Chinese ... Clever.
