I had been craving Pad Thai for a week - figured I'd give this place a shot. Ordered the Pad Thai, fried rice & fried spring rolls. Pad Thai was bland, very little flavor from lack of peanut sauce - minimal chicken - just boring. Happy City (Chinese joint in somersworth makes better Pad Thai!) Fried rice was along the same line - bland but fresh, veggies were crisp and tasted good but overall flavor was lacking. Spring rolls - acceptable. Needless to say nothing here satisfied my craving - I will try the others in Dover before trying here again. Sorry guys it's sub-par. read more

So disappointed! Craving Tom Yum soup, it was so bland, the shrimp was missing. Really just barely edible. We ordered take-out or I would have sent it back. Haven't eaten there in a couple of years, I don't remember it being bad at all, but, apparently things have changed. This is close to where I live so we eat here once a week. We've been coming for 3 yrs. Food varies from excellent to poor - depending on the cook that evening. Food quality is fresh. They love onions here, including large raw chunks on salad. They are very friendly and the service is very fast. We usually only wait between 10-15 min. I have tried 14 items on the menu - better than the Thai place in Downtown Dover. read more

I've ordered here many times! Love the food, the inside decor is nothing special, but I always get takeout. I always order the chicken pad thai and get veggie fresh rolls. The only thing I will say is that the veggie rolls aren't always as fresh and crisp tasting as I like. Sometimes the lettuce in them is browning. The peanut sauce is fantastic though. I remember when I used to go to this restaurant for a whole month straight... Every day was trying new menu... and believe me, it was well worth it. One thing that I will always come back for is definitely the " Sara thai fried rice ".... words simply cant explain this food... First of all is the proportions, I personally finds it hard to finish the whole plate in one sitting.. Second is the taste, It's unique and authentic Thailand flavor, without overpowering on the herbs... And the last one is obviously the price... I ordered take out and got the Spring rolls and spicy duck. The spring rolls had brown lettuce. Spicy duck flavorless. I called and informed them of the browned lettuce and they told me I was seeing things and it was probably the carrots. They told me if I must I could bring in to show them and get a refund. I brought it in they looked at it and said "yeah he's right, it's brown" and gave a new order of the spring rolls. The new order was better but there was still old lettuce mixed in. Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. The food is absolutely amazing. Ordered pan fried dumplings. Although there was only five, the portion was huge. Their chicken wings were crispy. The pho was well flavored. Our waitress was on top of things and was really friendly. I would definitely come back. The only negative thing is they don't offer my favorite papaya salad considering they are a Thai restaurant but that's okay. Their food is still delicious. read more

We ordered out from Sara Thai last night for the first time. Eight people ordered 8 dishes, so I think we got a good sampling. The 3 pad thais we got all tasted different - one was overly sweet, one delicious, and the other had some sort of round noodles that tasted off. The pho was large and hearty but lacked a lot of flavor - we only had sriacha at home so we added that. The curry fried rice was more just rice, not a lot of flavor. The red curry was very large but didn't come with rice. The choo chee duck was tasty but had like 4 pieces of duck. So overall, I have to say things just weren't up to par food-wise. The girl who took the order was friendly and helpful though and the place was cozy when we went in. Also, there's a save 5% when you pay cash which is nice. read more

Tofu drunken noodles! The tofu was lightly fried and delicious, vegetables fresh and crunchy, our server was friendly and brought us mung beans on the side. The spice profile was perfect with every bite delivering the heat I was looking for which curbed my spice addiction for at least a few days and quickly drained the Sapporo I had opened. As with most Thai places in NH, they all do the dishes and sauces different so it's hard to say who "wins" but by far the best drunken noodle I've come across! Some cigarette smell got inside a little and you may see the cooks going for cigarette breaks, I guess you know you're in a good thai place! read more

We live in Portsmouth, and will make the drive for good Thai food. Love all their dishes, but our favorites are Lad Nar, Mee Pad and their Pan Fried Dumplings. You really can't choose a bad dish. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and are very accommodating to allergies. read more

Got the Pad thai, while very tasty, there was barely any chicken and only 3 shrimp in this large dish! I was disappointed with that.

I've been eating here since I moved to N.H. in '07. Very good Thai food, the best in the area. I've tried numerous menu items and they've all been delish. But I didn't know what I was missing until a few days ago!! One of my comebacks has always been the Spicy Duck. I really love it. Well the other day as I was getting ready to order my trusty Spicy Duck my eyes shifted slighty south and I noticed that I had never tried the Choo Chee Crispy Duck!!!! For me food is always okay, yeah that was fine for a meal no big deal whatever. Let me tell you something!! The Choo Chee Crispy Duck was absolutely melt in your mouth, deliciuosly satisfying. I am so serious....if you like duck, you have to try this dish!!! YUMMMMMMM! read more
