    CHICKEN TERIYAKI
    Erskin G.

I got a teriyaki plate to go and this was how much chicken I received ‍.. I was very disappointed because this is one of my favorite lunch places.

The food didn't taste good to me. The flavor of Teriyaki was not there. My vegetables were cold.

This stall always has the longest lines and I always order the shrimps. I feel like it gives you the most value for your money especially seeing how big the servings are but unfortunately, it's only the quantity that makes it worth it. I find the taste too salty and the service is not remarkable, if not lacking. I just tend to go back when I am extremely hungry but otherwise, I'd recommend trying something else from the food court.

Sarku Japan is probably my favorite places to eat at in the mall. I had my ups and downs about this place, but for some reason I always come back. They literally make the food right in front of you, so it's freshly made while you're standing in line. It's the cheap version of teppanyaki, but who cares... it's still yummy. They cook the protein and veggies on the comal and add teriyaki sauce to their protein for yumminess. From all the places to choose from at the Oasis, this place is definitely my "go to" all the time. The line is always super long every time I go, but it's because the food is fresh and piping hot when it comes out and I believe that's what attracts people here. Not to mention the food tastes yummy. I'm definitely a big fan of this place. Downside is that they're at the mall and parking most of the time is difficult. The long lines might be a downside also and make you not wanna line up, but you should and you won't regret it. The lines move fast so you should take your chance. :-)

Whenever I'm near the mall I have to stop by Sarku Japan. It smell freakin amazing. It's an old favorite. They have some awesome chicken teriyaki that my whole family loves. The veggie rolls are so good too. I love that you can see them making the food right in front of you. They always ask if you want more teriyaki sauce or hot sauce before you leave. They are also really nice and quick which doesn't look easy with all the customers.

I love their food here but their customer service sucks, I asked for a packet sriracha sauce basically begged for it and they wouldn't even give me one, super rude because they said they were only for online orders so I guess those customers get what they want but they are really going to refuse someone getting their own food. They are wrong for doing that and I hope they enjoy their one star since I didn't get to enjoy my food.

Love when you get coupons to entice you to come back

This place seemed like the standard Sakru. Asian stir fry made while you wait. They give you a sample on a toothpick to lure you in. The food is good and reasonanly priced. Once I paid they gave me a coupon to come back. What struck me as interesting was that with.the multiple other places in the food court to eat..this place seemed to have the longest and most steady stream of customers. They must really be doing things right. Or it could be the coupons bringing people back. I will go use my coupon. LOL

The portion sizes. Are way off. When I asked why the portion was small when paying for double chicken and other people got much larger portions. He stated this was the portion size..... The chef was extremely rude and cocky.

Teriyaki Chicken Plate, no extra sauce. Just add sriracha to taste and done! Chicken, rice, and veggies. Perfect.

You can get a quick meal to go, which I haven't done yet but am looking forward to. The aromas are Devine. The staff has always been friendly and helpful to me. They have a small but excellent meat department. I noticed that they have very reasonable prices and the lamb is especially affordable compared to other markets. They have a vast array of what are exotic groceries compared to other markets. I love to just peruse the isles when I'm there. I wish they had cooking classes. It would be interesting to learn how to use ingredients I'm not familiar with. I highly suggest a visit. You won't be disappointed.

I guessed that…read moreingredients for Indian cookery is what they specialize in so there could be cross overs. I keep reading about how brown sauce is a staple on every table in the UK. HP Sauce is the main brand. I stopped in on afternoon Saturday the 7th. First impression was similar to the Asia market on White Lane, maybe less cluttered, more like a small supermarket. Walking the isles I didn't see it. To make sure I asked a stock clerk. He was friendly, hadn't heard of HP Sauce but walked me to where it might be. No luck. I didn't want to leave empty handed so brought an apple soda in a clear plastic can shaped like an aluminum can up to the register. I guess they took those earlier negative reviews to heart. The cashier, a man in his 40s or 50s, was so friendly. Joking with me in a dad joke way then gifting me a little morsel on my way out. I'm sure no one else gets treats, I was wearing my cervical collar, pretty sad looking. They have a lot of different foods there. Great produce. Just don't count on finding much British food.

I ordered the Italian deli sandwich on sour dough and a side of pasta salad. Food arrived within 15 minutes. The pasta salad is delicious : it comes with garbanzo beans which was different for me. I placed the order over the phone, and the cashier was very nice. She had my order ready when I arrived. The Giovanna's salad came with mixed greens with candied walnut and pecan crumbles, no actual pieces in the salad so it was a little disappointing. I got the blue cheese on the side. The salad was very fresh and tasty, paired with balsamic vinaigrette. There is a separate restaurant area, bar, and deli here! It is so cute inside and has a lot of character. They even sell t-shirts and little knick knacks. I am looking forward to trying the truffle sacchetti and pasta bolognese in the future. Happy eating! Yelp Review #42- 2026
