Pretty good ramen place located in Pasadena. Went in for lunch and ended up getting the yuzu shio ramen. The price was fair and service was good. I ended up getting street parking

Great service, good atmosphere and amazingly one of the best ramen we tried. This is our first time here and surprisingly we never been here? All including their appetizers also delish. Seriously this place need to be more busy. Try them and let me know. Easily the best ramen in la now.

Your average ramen shop. My mazesoba was pretty good, I liked the flavors. I wish the takoyaki has more octopus bc each one only had one piece, the one I buy frozen has more. The tonkotsu was decent. My sister agreed the karage curry was a pass

I enjoyed their yuzu ramen. It was very interesting. It was definitely not the usual ramen youd expect. It was citrusy and very light. The chashui it came with, you can taste the charred. I also got the chawanmushi and they provided soy sauce with it. It wasnt bad but id prefer to get their karage chicken instead. The karage was lightly battered and very crispy. They also had parm cheese on top of it. Would need to come back to try their other items. There is street parking and also parking structures you can park at. Sadly both requiring payment.

A hidden gem in Pasadena. They have a nice variety of ramen, mazesoba, and rice plates/bowls. I had the Tsukemen and it was delicious. The broth was full of flavor. The chashu was tender and flavorful. Vegetarians-they have solid options. The vegetarian mazesoba was delicious. Portions were just right. Service was great and it wasn't overly crowded like some nearby ramen shops.

This is cozy restaurant located in downtown. We were welcomed and got seated quickly by our server. Staff is very friendly and attentive. For starters we had spicy agedashi tofu, this dish has fried tofu topped with very refreshing mashroom sauce. Very delicious! Unagi Bowl - grilled eel and rice. Dish was perfect. Fish was very delicate and cooked to perfection. I thanked in my mind for not overcooking it. Unagi sauce pairs well but may be I'll get it on side next time. This dish came with my favorite miso soup cup ... Yumm!!! My family had spicy ramen and chicken ramen. You can change protein in your ramen. Everyone loved their dishes. I recommend this place !!! Best wishes!!!

Nice spot! Good was delicious and so was the beer. The gyudon was super gummy and came with a side of miso soup which made me happy because I love miso soup! They also have summer specials starting at 1.99 which was cool!

Sato is the perfect balance between sophisticated and comfortable dining. Staff is friendly. Service is quick. Food arrives piping hot. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so interior seats can be limited when there are large parties present. Use street parking or nearby garage parking. Clean restrooms. Cozy, well-designed interior. Relatively mild noise level. The general vibe is pretty relaxed. Their menu has enough options to provide a variety for different tastes while not feeling overwhelming. A few staple ramens, rice bowls, a plethora of appetizers, and plenty of alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks. There's truly something for everyone. The tonkotsu ramen is a fan favorite, but the yuzu shio ramen is a great choice for those who don't favor creamy broths and want something a little lighter. Their takoyaki is a must-try, while the soft shell crab bun is a little underwhelming flavor-wise. Prices are fair considering the quality and quantity - you will definitely leave satisfied and full. Definitely recommend if you want high-end food without having to eat in a stuffy environment.

The Yuzu shio ramen here is a must try. Very refreshing and not heavy - perfect if you don't want something too rich. Also Not salty at all. A common pitfall for ramen is that the soup base can be packed with sodium but this one is truly amazing. The noodle portion is also huge. I also tried my two favorite appetizers here. The Chawanmushi is tasty and silky. The agedashi tofu is a bit tough but still flavorful. I did ask for non-spicy. Service is friendly here. Closest structure parking is the schoolhouse garage.

Was craving mazesoba so went to Sato House with the family. We usually have dinner early due to our toddler so it wasn't too crowded. It did however started getting busy towards the end of our meal. The interior is modern and sleek. Bright lights and spacious. The restrooms are also fairly clean. They were pretty accommodating with my toddler and immediately brought a bowl and plastic utensils for him. Although I wish they had crayons and paper for him, he kept himself pretty entertained. We ordered French fries for appetizer, which came out hot and was a pretty large portion. My husband ordered the hell ramen and enjoyed it. He even got a second order of noodles. I ordered the vegan mazesoba and the staff was very accommodating with my request for minor changes to the bowl (adding egg and fish powder). The mazesoba was very good. A little on the salty side, but the teriyaki tofu was a great addition. The tofu was crispy but soft on the inside and wonderfully flavored. We ordered chicken tonkatsu and rice for my son which he also ate a lot of. Family and I enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back. Definitely worth checking out if you're near old town.

Solid spot! Was pretty busy even on an odd time of 3PM on a Saturday. We kind of lingered at the entrance for quite a bit before getting acknowledged (despite the eye contact) which felt weird but other than that, solid food. - Yuzu Shio Ramen $15.99: i liked this! refreshing and light in taste. the egg was perfectly jammy and orange in the center, whilst the chashu pork was nicely charred. generous amount of bamboo shoots as well! Would've liked for the noodles to be more al dente, but would get this again - Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen $17.99: not as spicy nor did it have as much depth in flavor as I expected. I think you can get by with getting the regular tonkotsu and adding your own amt of spice (that's provided on the table) to your liking. - Black Truffle Chawanmushi $5.99: yum! 1 sizeable shrimp and 1 tiny scallop, but a generous dollop of truffle. would recommend if you're a fan of steamed egg If no street parking, there's a parking garage by the train stop that's $1 for the first 2 hours

Overall, this is a great ramen spot, especially since it's so conveniently nearby. We were craving ramen and came across this place while browsing on my trusty Yelp app--so glad we decided to give it a try! We ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and the tonkotsu curry, and both dishes were cooked to perfection and packed with rich, bold flavor. Everything was satisfying and delicious. The service was also a highlight. Since it was our first time, the staff was very helpful with recommendations, and we're glad we took their advice. They were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The ambiance is nice and very welcoming, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. We'll definitely be back the next time a ramen craving hits. Highly recommend!

Ordered Doordash and it was just ok Got the Tonkatsu Ramen ($17.99) and Takoyaki ($8.99) The Tonkatsu Ramen was ok but the portion was quite small. The noodles didn't taste as good as I last had it at the restaurant earlier in the year. The texture was still soft and chewy but it just wasn't as fresh. The meat was ok and slightly bland. The egg was very nice; it was very delicious and the inside was so flavorful! The broth was a bit too salty and fatty so overall, this was 7/10 The Takoyaki was not as good as I remembered unfortunately. Perhaps it isn't an item I would recommend ordering takeout because by the time I got it, it was quite soggy and not crispy like it should be. I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't a big piece of octopus like I last had it. Overall, this was 6/10 I might return by dining at the restaurant instead of ordering takeout.

I also don't like their chicken or chashu any longer and I always go with the tofu. Typical order for me is a Bold Ramen, Non-Gluten free, Go Green, Garlic's Best Friend, Give it a kick, with a flavored egg. If I'm extra hungry I will add extra noodles but their other appetizers such as their fried rice have never really wowed me, but hey, not for me. One thing that I do not get even though I am rating five stars is why they serve extra noodles immediately with your bowl of ramen. By the time you're done with your first portion of noodles, the second portion is a noodle brick that you have to pry apart in your bowl with your chopsticks. Ramen Tatsunoya handles "kaedama" wayyyyy better in the respect that it's to order and they bring it out almost instantly after you order it with extra green onions, wood ear mushrooms, etc. Tatsu definitely has the ability to pump out a bowl of ramen fast - so I know they could do this too with just a little extra care between front of house and back of house staff. Please consider it. Your customers ordering extra noodles will immediately notice a quality difference getting to eat fresh noodles!

Decided to visit and try out their Ramen - I have also been seeing their shaved ice on social media but didn't try it. Both of the ramens were pretty mediocre with salty soup and nothing extraordinary about the noodles unfortunately. Compared to other Ramen shops I've visited, Tsujita didn't stand out as excellent. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

The miso ramen had a very strong white miso flavor. Didn't hate it, as I do love miso, but it was a little too much miso for my liking. Typical curly ramen and it was cooked well. Loved the jammy egg too. It was a soy marinated egg. There were also three pieces of chashu too! It was good, but slightly overcooked. The portion of the ramen was medium sized and was surprised they didn't bring a smaller size since it was a set meal. But happy they were generous! Spicy tuna don was a small bowl, but they gave a good portion of spicy tuna, which was delicious. Chicken karaage were two pieces of chicken and it was just okay. AMBIANCE / TABLES + SEATS Very calm and relaxing ambiance. It was quiet and no music was playing, which I liked. The restaurant was super clean and I liked how the tables were set.
