However, during the Super Bowl halftime, the broadcast was switched to a different program (Turning Point) instead of the official Super Bowl halftime show. This was very disappointing, especially since this was a paid event and there was no prior notice that the halftime show would not be shown. When we asked about the change and requested a partial refund due to the lack of transparency, the owner's wife refused to discuss the concern and appeared upset that we even asked. When the owner, Jeremy, became involved, the situation escalated. He stated that because we are minorities, it didn't matter, and told us that it was his business and that they didn't need our business. We felt disrespected, insulted, and belittled based on our race and appearance. This experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. We chose to leave early because of how the situation was handled. It's unfortunate because the event started off well, but respectful communication, transparency, and treating all customers with dignity should be a priority for any business.

The chicken entrée was good, but the standout of the evening was the New Zealand Red Deer Chop. It was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly but quite slow. My Kendall Smash wasn't refilled until we had finished eating and were asking for our checks. For parties of six or more, a 20% gratuity is automatically added (as noted on the menu), but it was placed entirely on one person's check instead of being split among the group, which created an awkward situation. The atmosphere is pleasant. The lighting and acoustics make for a comfortable dining experience, although it's always colder inside than I'd prefer. One small detail that stood out was the used wine glasses being stored along the ledges in the dining room when removed from tables--it felt a little out of place. Overall, I'd give The Kendall another chance. Next time I'd probably request the patio when the weather cools down and order the Red Deer Chop again.

Today was my first day coming to the establishment and I'm highly disappointed in the actions of Cindy the manager of this establishment. I am a minority veteran visiting this location for the very first time I've ordered a set of wings with Parmesan dry rub and a garlic sticky sauce however when I was brought the food it looked perfectly fine but when I sampled it the sauce taste it more like a teriyaki field than any type of garlic Parmesan that I ordered. When I had asked my server in regards to if there was a possibility of getting it changed out because I was not pleased with the way that it taste like a teriyaki sauce instead of garlic but I would be able to change my order and had no problem with paying any accommodations that was necessary to do so. However Cindy came over very aggressive very deplorable and very rude and disrespectful to not only myself but she would guess that I had with me in her shop at this point in time I didn't even want to stay in the place because the woman actions made me no longer interested in eating food. My server was great her customer service was great she try to rectify the situation to the best of her capabilities however it was management that made me feel so disgusted and felt so out of place of being in this establishment that I can't ever see myself or other people going back if I'm talk to you as if I'm a child as if I'm incompetent and as if I don't have the money to pay for the services and the products that I am receiving for this I will not be coming back because if she talks to me or any other minority veterans this way I can't imagine how this establishment can stay open. She then came back over to the table in a very aggressive manner waving her hands in the air and talking very rudely to the point that the other patrons that were in the restaurant close to me we're looking at her as if she has lost her mind if customer service is yelling at your clients or patrons because they are not satisfied with the product they receive then this is a five star rating but if this is for people who are belligerently rude and aggressive and have no customer service skills and always deem that the restaurant is always right is no longer going to have value in the community which I have served and represent. read more

I came to this restaurant with my wife and kids after a long day of swimming and fishing and I was blown away with their service! The place was clean, the people were helpful and courteous. The waitress and hostess' were very polite, and well mannered. We were waited on by Fabiana, she was extremely helpful and attentive. I will definitely request to have her wait on us for future occasions. Not to mention the food too was impeccable! I ordered the Cowboy Burger and my wife ordered the Black & Blue. Shortly after ordering they came out no more than five minutes later. And as quick as it came out it was gone, I'd have to say it was one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a while. This place does it right in every aspect, their cleanliness, the staff, and the food were all top tier. This place has become a routine stop for the family anytime we head out to the lake and we recommend anyone looking for a great all around Wing or Burger Restaurant to give this place a shot, they do it right. read more

My brother and I found this place while visiting Boerne from Minnesota. We enjoyed the extensive craft beer selection, as well as the friendly staff. Burger was thick and juicy and covered the bun. A very generous portion. The Texas cheesesteak sandwich was extraordinary. Decided we had to go back. Enjoyed watching all the football games today on their multiple tv screens. Tried the Jamaican jerk boneless wings. Wow and Wow and Wow. A very authentic taste. I talked to management to complement them on the flavor and learned that they have their jerk sauce flown in fresh from Jamaica. I also learned that the jerk is the only sauce they do not make fresh daily in house. Very impressive. I am a large retired man and I get teased about being a bit of a caloric intake specialist. My wife was attending a dinner for volunteers to teach elementary children after school so I had to get my own dinner. I chose to go to The Sauced Wing Bar. I mentioned to the young hostess who seated my that it was my 85th birthday. She evidently told the manager as I had just started my meal when he announce it to the customers. He had everyone stand and sing Happy Birthday to me. Then one gentleman came to my table and asked if I'd like to join them. I thanked him but I was working on my computer and so I thankfully declined. Then when I asked for my check my waiter told me the manager had paid for everything and I was free to go. Picked up our first curbside order since the Covid-19 scare began. Was very disappointed to see that the person delivering our order was not wearing gloves or a mask. Called the owner after returning home and was told they do not require cooks and waiters to wear masks or gloves. We are seniors and cannot take the risk of being exposed to members of a staff that are regularly in contact with a large number of customers on a daily basis. Doesn't seem like that big an inconvenience to require masks and/or gloves. read more

Sauced has become one of my favorite places to get wings from. A personal recommendation from their manager Robyn was the "fireballs" and let me tell you, fried mac and cheese has never tasted so good before, 10/10 recommendation. Gosh was this pricey. We also both ordered sweet tea, which was actually bottles of Gold Peak. My son did surprisingly well with his burger. It was super loaded with chili and thus super messy. After he had scarfed the burger down, he had a full serving of Frito pie on his plate. He said the chili was awesome. The tots however were just "okay". My burger was amazing. The patty and bread were the perfect match. The bacon was thick and crispy. Everything came together to make it really delicious. But, if I'm honest, the highlight of my meal was the sweet potato fries. They were nice and crispy. But, what put them over the top was a generous sprinkle of sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla powder. That combination was positively addicting. I blindly ate all of them, which is very unusual for me. I normally eat about 6 or 8 fries and give the rest away. I visit my trailer to check on it after major storms and when I haven't camped as much. Plus I go to Pipe Creek to hook it up for trips and bring it back for storage. I'm pretty sure there will be a hamburger in my belly every time I go there in the future. I want to work through the menu and try the others. Why? Just because they are there, and after eating one of them, I know the rest are going to be awesome, too.

This is a nice establishment and the owners/staff were very friendly and made a concerted effort to make sure you were taken care of. The Chicken Fried steak was good with nice breading and gravy. The steak was a tad tough in some spots but otherwise good. I really loved the mashed potato's with the skin on still. Very flavorful! The Mac n cheese was good too. They also have a nice salad bar for an additional option. This is a good spot to pop in and give a try.
