For the first time in my 52 years, I was so disgusted by the, not just lack of customer service, but the outright rudeness from the jerk behind the counter of this "store" that I put my item down right where I was, without returning it to the cooler. As a customer at the absolutely lovely Wash Stop laundromat a few doors down, I was caught a few dollars short of what I needed and went in to purchase a drink in order to get change. I had several dollar coins as well as cards, but no quarters or cash. I asked if there was an ATM and was ignored. Can I get cash back with my card? Can I buy quarters? Nothing. No response. Not until a young man came into the store did the guy offer any response, and that in perfect English. ‍ read more

I live locally to this store and walked to purchase a six-pack of beer. Walked back home and upon opening the first can, it was FROZEN. The reviews do not disappoint about this broke down place. I can't believe how this place is running with such disrespectful, rude owners like them. Came in to cash out my lottery scratcher and the guy asked me if i bought it there and I clearly did not. Ofcourse, he was too busy watching tv as well and he refused to take the scratcher and give me money for it. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC AND RUDE! Save yourself the trip by not coming to this place. Cute little neighborhood liquor store tucked into the corner of a little strip mall. My girlfriend frequents this spot, so whenever we both go in together, everybody is super cool and chats us up at the register. I'm super picky with my beer, and I'm happy to say they sport a decent selection of ales. If I need an IPA or a hefeweizen, they've got me covered. I'm a big fan of Lagunitas Brewing Company and I know they have a few of their fine beers to choose from. If you're a watery yellow lager type drinker, they've got that too. Heck, if you like your energy drinks combined with your beer, I think I've seen some tall cans of Four Loko on the shelves! We've picked up a couple of bottles of wine here, selection is pretty good in that realm as well. Very nice selection of spirits if you like the hard stuff. Always makes me happy to support the little mom and pop shops. read more

this is really kind of a hidden neighborhood kind of place. It's much larger than the entrance lets on and their variety of convenience store items is quite large. Big Red, Big Blue, Jones Soda, Orange Crush...decent selection of weird sodas. They guy working the counter seems like he's a bit suspicious of you but once you've paid and proven you're not riff raff things are good. read more

Great Store. It's a Husband and Wife ran store. Everytime I go in they always great me and provide good customer service.

Small ratty neighborhood store. Folks that work here always look at me strangely when I do shop here, even years later. I'm not a frequent customer but I do stop in here from time to time. The store does have a nice selection of sodas that you normally don't find in the large chain grocery stores. This store also offers those low end 'cono' grocery store items such as: beans, caps, socks, etc up by the check out counter. Interior of store is dark, dreary and tight quarters. I have even found a few expired shelf items. They of course do sell California Lotto Ticket here. read more

We are delighted by this neighborhood market. It is consistently there for us when we need superglue, wine, It's Its, tin foil, corn, diet coke and gummy candy. Admittedly, Kim (the man who runs the place) is slow to warm, but once he gets to know you, he is genuinely kind. His wife is a delight as well. read more

this place is no good. Had the owner mouth off to me before about something stupid a few months back. Decided to come back one day and make amends with the guy, cause i live so close. Things were friendly for the next few visits. Came in this evening. said my hello to him total came to 15.31 had a twenty told the man i want to grab 31 cents out of my car.. so i don't get a bunch of singles back, he mouthed off to me said "NO? take the change, I'm tired of standing and waiting for people to get change in their car!" So i grabbed the change out of my car and gave it to him, he slammed the money in the drawer and gave me my $5 bill. The gentleman behind just looked in disbelief that someone would act so inappropriately. I told the man that I tried to give him another chance, and that i like to support local spots, but enough is enough, I'm not going to high-tail it to wall-mart, but def will not be back. I mean come on man, its your Job to stand on your feet and serve your patrons, I mean shouldn't he be happy to take my money? The sad part of all this, is that his wife is the sweetest lady, so nice to her costumers. He needs to realize that with out customers there is no business. MY ADVICE TO EVERY ONE IS TO HEAD ACROSS EL CAMINO AND CALDERONE TO CLYDE'S LIQUOR. the owner there is super nice and friendly we've become good friends. For over 5 years I have brought my support dog with collar and papers with me. Never an issue. I keep my boy in line especially in a public place. Nothing worse than an out of control animal in public. I was already in here 3 times this week buying things with my ESA. This guy Yells at the top of his voice at me In front of other people. "TAKE YOUR DOG OUTTA HERE"..... I'm like huh. Guy was treating me like we had beef or something. Or like he has told me before. Which his wife and him have never had a problem. He could have a sign up no dogs?? I said he is a support Animal ill show u the papers and look at his collar its clearly marked.. He yells again Take him Outta here. I said OK no problem! I'm done here forever. The guy doesn't care about the law or spelling. If he did he would have named this place "Save More" not "SAV MOR" Thank the lord for Yelp! I go to this store once in a while because it's close to my work place to get some drinks or candies. There is a guy working at the store he always at the counter and he always thinks any one enters to the store will steal something. He is always very Rudd to you, if you ask him something first of all he doesn't answer you but if he does he answers you very rudely. So today when I went to the store to get some drinks, I asked him for Big bottle of coke which didn't seems to find it in the store, So Iasked him for a help, first he didn't answer me and I am keep asking but then he points with his fingers that it's there. I taught to my self that I will talk to him today that why he is always so rude? Which I did and instead of he apologize to me or say some thing nice to his customer ,he was fighting and argue with me that why you come to this store if you don't like me lol why don't u go some where else and he was so loud in front of other people I was shocked!!! So I told him basically you don't want customer but he was keep repeating go away. in the meantime his wife was working too she is nice lady and then she tells me or he is a nice man he has diabetes lol I told her that I will never come back to your store!!! read more
