I went in skeptical because I've been burned before by GF stuff that tastes like cardboard with good branding. That is not what this is. Everything I tried was genuinely delicious, like I would eat this even if I didn't have to avoid gluten. That's the real test and they pass it easily. The selection is solid and the display case looks amazing when you walk in. Hard to choose. I ended up with a couple things and had zero regrets about any of it. Opens at 7am which is great, and its in Clovis so easy to get to from most parts of the Fresno area. The space is cute and the staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions about ingredients. If you eat gluten free or know someone who does, this place is a genuine find. Not a compromise, actual good food that just happens to be GF.

They have a great variety of pastries and drinks. One of my last visits, we took my parents for my mom's bday and we shared a couple of cake slices together. My dad made these for me as a kid and anytime I see them in the wild, I have to try it. The bierocks made were just ok. The pastry is great, but the filling was a little bland and way too heavy on the cabbage. But what the bierocks lacked, the donuts made up for by a million! We ordered a cruller, maple, glazed, old-fashioned, a glazed twist, and a chocolate cake doughnut. Just based off our order, you can tell there were no children with us, lol. The cruller donut was perfection. Airy and super soft with it almost melting in your mouth before the first bite. The old-fashioned donut (which are my favorite) was incredible! It was surprisingly light, for a cake doughnut, and had a thick layer of maple glaze. I think the layer was about an eighth of an inch, which for icing is bonkers. Even Peter North himself would be humbled by this glazing technique. Is this the most unassuming donut shop in all of the land? Maybe not the land, but at least in Clovis. Live in the area and love donuts? Get here now!
