Came here with my best friend on a Sunday morning. This spot is tucked away in the heart of Old Town Pasadena in an alleyway right across from Edwin Mills by Equator. Lovely little spot with greenery all around. I love me some Ube so I automatically gravitated towards the Boo Berry Crumble. I loved it! It was delicious! I ended up ordered it with oat-milk It was definitely blueberry heavy, which I didn't mind. I enjoyed the texture. Enjoyed the drink and the vibes! Service was excellent, the ladies were sweet! Hot tip: come in the early morning on Sundays. Free street meter parking before 10 or 11am.

What a beautiful coffee and pastry shop! I see the term Instaworthy used a lot these days, but these are one of those places that truly deserve it. More importantly, the drinks and pastries here are good. Full disclosure, I came here, trying to hit up another new pastry spot in the area. But the line was down the block. There was no way I was gonna wait in that line so I found this spot on a quick search. It's almost criminal that there was no one at the shop and it was so close to the other spot. I will say this place doesn't have a lot of visibility from the main street because you'd have to walk in a little bit down, sort of an alleyway with other shops and eateries. The person behind the counter was really, really friendly and helpful. I was able to get my drink (Savvvy's Special) pretty much right away and the Matcha & Pistachio croissant was really delicious. I was on my way to meet up with some friends at their house so I wasn't able to sit here for very long and enjoy the serene and beautiful setting. Definitely a big fan of this place and would love to come back soon.

We came by to redeem the Savvvys promotion from the SGV passport. It was for a BOGO free on any drink purchase. They are located in the Mills Pl alley area. We came by on same Sunday as the Rose Bowl Marathon so it was very busy. The location has spacious dining areas outside and a few tables inside the shop. The staff was very personable and kind to us. She noted customers periodically use the SGV passport from time to time. We decided on the Savvvys Special and Matcha Chaga. Both of them with Oat Milk. They do offer all kinds of milk alternative bases. Our drinks were completed within minutes and we enjoyed them outside in the patio. IMO, both of them were stellar. The perfect blends of sweetness with the proper amount of caffeine to boost you up for the day! Of the two, I enjoyed the Savvvys the most and would order it again. Savvvys is a great place to kick back and enjoy some coffee and matcha! Check em out! ( ^_^)b

The shop is so cute and great of photos. Staff is friendly. The drinks were great actually ! They had very unique flavors I haven't seen at other coffee spots. I got the lavender coffee and you can really taste the coffee and it wasn't too sweet. I'm going back there today after I write this review !!

Easy to find, friendly services, great outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. Lady lavender (4/5) tasty and strong Strawberry chocolate scone (2.5/5) I'm not a scone person but this sounded delicious and was hoping it would change my mind but it didn't. Overall, I would come back and try their other drinks and pastries.

Such a cute spot with nice outdoor and indoor seating. The ordering area can be cramped during busy hours but you can easily wait outside after. Ordered the Savvvy Special which basically tastes like a honey cinnamon latte. It wasn't overly sweet which I liked and had a good balance of the espresso. Overall a good spot and I would come again

The space is comfortable and there are a lot of plants, which is nice. The coffee was very expensive, but tasty! Unfortunately, the pastry I got (Nutella croissant) was nasty. There was some sort of filling inside, maybe a cookie butter? I'm not sure, but it had split and was chunky and greasy. There was very little Nutella flavor aside from the zig zag on the top of the pastry. We also got water from the dispenser and there was stuff floating in it.

There's parking at many structures or the streets. This location is in an alley way so you'll have to be careful from possible traffic coming through. The interior is nice and clean. There's indoor seating and outdoors which is great for dogs. The staff are nice and the food arrived fairly quick. I got the hot boo berry crumble. It was pretty good and not too overly hot. I like the crumble bit on top. The sweetness level s just right. The spinach and cheese pastry was okay. It was tasty enough although it was too pricy for the size. I really wanted to like this more but it was mostly okay. Still worth trying out!

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Rosey Cheeks: 6.5/10 Can taste the espresso and has a subtle but lingering rose flavor. Great way to ease into your morning and for those who want to drink coffee but don't like super strong espresso. It definitely matches the description. Was expecting it to pack more of a punch, but definitely not mad at it! It's interesting and it grew on me as I drank it for sure. Drink it remotely fast though. Once the ice melts, it gets more watery than most coffees. Not complaining as it's only natural, but something to note. Service: 10/10 Great service! Didn't catch his name, but he was tall with longish hair. Very kind and very helpful. He helped me figure out what I wanted based on my tastes/cravings. My drink came out very fast as well! Ambiance: 10/10 Came at about 11:30am on a Thursday. Calm jazz music was playing with very light chatter in the background. Great place to get work done or to spend your morning. There are outlets along the booths, air conditioning, and somewhat limited seating. It's along an alleyway in Downtown Pasadena, so parking is street or structure. Love the natural lighting and aesthetic of the place is very coherent. TDLR: Great place to study or catch up with a friend during the week. There are outlets and limited seating. Staff is very helpful. Drink I got wasn't particularly what I was looking for, but would be open to coming back and trying another coffee.

I ordered the romantic dreams latte and asked them to lessen the amount of condensed milk so it wasn't too sweet and it's perfect. I got it iced with regular milk and it was great. I also ordered the pumpkin muffin which is warmed up. It needed some time to cool down to be able to eat it. I loved sitting by the window and seeing the dogs pass by. Dogs are welcome here too which wins extra points for me. The service is very friendly and its latinx owned business. Happy to support and I can't wait to come back!

Love the ambiance inside, because the interior design is beautiful and their music is splendid. I would say their drinks are good, but nothing special. Both times that I've tried their pastries, they have been overly dense and dry, so I probably won't order them again. It can be hard to find this place, since it is in an alley so you wouldn't happen to walk by. I think it is a good place to sit and chat with someone over a coffee, and maybe take a few aesthetic photos. read more

Cute spot and baristas were super nice! I'm a coffee addict to say the least and have visited so many coffee shops over the last few years. I love when I find a place that offers a combo of 5 star service and drinks. I got the maple matcha with cinnamon and it was delicious. They also mentioned they were expanding their menu to offer more brunch items - they have an outdoor patio and a good amount of indoor seating as well. A great brunch spot! read more

This is my absolute favorite HIGH QUALITY coffee shop in Pasadena. They have fresh cold drip coffee which is powerful and tasty. My favorite thing to order is the ice mocha with coconut milk and whip cream or the hot mocha with hazelnut, to essentially make a Fererro Roche in coffee form the staff is always friendly and willing to help give suggestions but I haven't had a drink I haven't liked in over a year, going a minimum of 3 times per month. read more

This cafe was so nice! There was music playing (at a very comfortable volume - not too loud), plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, convenient tables to work with laptops, and even a pretty clean bathroom. My friend and I really enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere. The coffees we got (lavender and rose) were very good (though my rose coffee was a tad too sweet for my taste - I usually drink unsweetened coffee, so next time I will ask for lighter sweetening. Definitely try it though as it's very tasty and pretty!). The coffee was not burnt and had a pleasant aroma. The worker behind the counter was friendly and explained the drinks to us patiently. Overall, I totally recommend and will definitely be back! read more

I really made an afternoon of it with a new friend. There were limited seating choices, but it's a perfect place to meet outside. We ended up staying outside until after they closed. I thoroughly enjoyed my iced tea beverage. A great place to revisit. read more

Very nice and friendly staff and really nice clean lines aesthetically. I ordered the agave iced cinnamon latte, and a cheese everything croissant. I was very concerned about the balance of agave versus cinnamon in my drink as I've had drinks with honey and cinnamon with a honey simply overpowers the drink however in this case it was very well balanced. The drink was good just not spectacular which was what I was expecting in my humble opinion it needed a little bit more sweetness a little more cinnamon and perhaps a splash of half and half to silken it up. The cheese everything croissant was definitely nothing to write home about and in my opinion a bit overpriced. Anyhow overall a good experience. read more

I work in the same ally as this and decided to finally stop in and try it this morning. I had the minty baby and it was perfect for my taste! Not too sweet or minty. I also had a spinach and cheddar pastry that was warmed to perfection! It wasn't too hot where I have to let it cool for a while before I can enjoy it. Stopped in with the wife on the way to UCLA v Colorado football game. In a bit of a hurry we ordered the short rib tacos so we can get in and get out. We were a little afraid they were going to be dry but they turned out amazing. Dax recommended a great old fashion service was great. Unfortunately, this was a case of IG hype falling short of expectations. The croissants were below mediocre, and tasted a day old. The coffees were also were not impressive. I really wanted to like this place because they have a unique selection of beverages and items, but the quality wasn't there. read more

This place was PERFECT. The ambiance, coffee, food, and service were all incredible. This little coffee shop is located in McCormick Alley. It's very aesthetic inside, I loved it! I got the Maple Latte. If you get it hot, you get a caramelized top which is done by a mini torch gun. It was pretty tasty. I also got the Crème & Coco croissant which is basically a crème brûlée croissant. I got it warmed up and it was delicious. I believe I got served by the owner and she was the SWEETEST person. I was in an indecisive mood and she really just helped me make the best decisions. It was so comforting! Definitely stop by this new hidden gem, it'll be worth it read more

A wonderful experience at this fun coffee shop in Old Town Pasadena. I highly recommend making a visit here. Some things we got that I never got a picture of that were incredibly delicious were an iced dirty, chai latte, and almond croissant, and the hazelnut almond croissant. Their croissants are next level. I also love all the seating that is available inside and outside. It's much bigger than it looks. read more

Super cute aesthetic and vibe. I got an iced hazelnut oat latte. It was good but a bit light on the actual coffee. Flavor was good but a little too sweet. It needed more or stronger coffee to be good. It's a cute place to sit and hang out. I would go back to try another drink. Maybe the barista was a little too heavy handed on the hazelnut with my drink. read more

I love the ambience and simplicity, yet bold, drink choices and interior decor! I came here with my sisters because we just happen to be in the area after a pilates session. We ordered a vanilla latte, matcha latte, and the savvvy special. All 3 drinks were sooo good. We had their male staff help us (sorry didn't get your name), but he was super nice and helpful! Love it here & so far I've tried two of their specialty lattes and they are exceptionally delicious. I've had the Lady lavender & Savvy's special. You can taste the quality of both the espresso and their handcrafted syrups, perfect balance, not overly sweet. What's a plus is the friendly customer service that greet you with a smile. The place is spacious & there's outdoor seating which is a plus. read more

Really wanted to like this place but from the time we got there, it really, unfortunately, was not a good experience. It was very loud and busy; had gotten a table inside and could not even hear myself think so we opted to find a shared table outside. Got drink and pastries - I believe this was the matcha/maple/cinnamon? And this was the cheese spinach, I felt that I have gotten much better pastries at a grocery store. The cheese was not melted and it just tasted like butter. Unfortunately, will not be returning. read more

I have been here several times , and they make great artisan coffee. I always order the maple latte for its aroma and balance of flavors. In Addition, doing work here is great for it welcoming atmosphere and the many charge ports around every seating area. Service here is very uplifting and a great way to start your day . When you first walk in you're immediately immersed by the greenery which I love! They have a lot of natural lighting. Now onto the coffee, I ordered the strawberry infatuation which is strawberry, espresso, beets (for color), oat milk and vanilla. Drink wasn't spectacular. Employee seems dejected and upset she has to be there. But moreover. The pastries were extremely overpriced for what it is. They also burnt my croissant a little upon heating it up. Overall not worth the experience. Tons of other coffee shops in old town to choose over. read more

Ambiance is nice, no sun though so just be aware it can be chilly. Nice and quiet. Staff wasn't particularly friendly and passionfruit "tea" wasn't actually tea but some sort of herb infusion, it wasn't great. I wanted actual tea, guess I should've inquired more. The croissants looked old, dry and unappealing or I would've ordered one. read more

If you are looking for a chic yet, homey place to get a coffee and a delicious pastry, Savvvys is the place to go. I discovered this place 3 weeks after they opened and have been back multiple times since. Each time I have visited, Savannah the owner (what a lovely name btw) has personally made my drink and they have all been just simply delicious. My first time in was around the holidays, so I had their Miss Naughty which was a deliciously rich mexican spiced mocha. And since I have ordered an oat milk latte, my regular order at any coffee shop. They have all been perfectly creamy and rich in flavor. This most recent time I went, I went in right around open and stayed until about noon. The vibes are just so right there. I ordered a couple of lattes and a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was absolutely delicious, the pastry was so flakey and buttery & the ham and cheese filling was oozy gooey but perfectly balanced with tangy dijon mustard. Delightful, my wife says...highly recommend the Maple Latte, Peach Pie Latte and the Single & Salty (seasonal, so get it while it lasts!) Atmos best described as...hip Mediterranean? Gold and marble with jazzy tunes on the speakers. Tucked away down an alley, it still has nice outdoor seating under a trellis. Worth the detour off Colorado! read more
