My girlfriends and I stopped by here after our workout. A cozy little coffee shop tucked away in an alley. It has the cutest decor and SO many plants! They have a lot of specialty lattes and several of them caught my eye. I ended up with the peach cobbler iced latte. The peach flavor was strong, just like the expresso. It was a bit sweet for me. I'll be sure to ask for less sweet next time around. They have several milk alternatives and all reasonably priced. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their drinks! read more

They're Savvvy! Classy! Bougie! With delicious drinks that will have you doing the Watusi! Here's what was recommended. The Savvvy special with cinnamon and agave to start off this sweet adventure. Next up was their maple latte with toasted brown sugar and a nice touch of maple. Both drink were served on a cute little mug and saucer set and it was a perfect set up to go along with the chill atmosphere. Decor or aesthetics were very eye pleasing and calming. I must mention that if you want that sweet little mug set you have to request it like I did. The service was on point and both recommendations were just what I wanted. The baristas are on point and very friendly and helpful. There's an outdoor patio area for those who want that alfresco experience. This shop had a little bit of everything to make a nice experience. It took over Café 86. DRINKS Maple Latte (hot)- Made of maple, cinnamon, toasted brown sugar, espresso, and coconut milk. The taste was bold and smelled super good! The maple taste is subtle and not overpowering. Maple Latte (cold)- Made of maple, cinnamon, toasted brown sugar, espresso, and almond milk. The taste was bold and complex. FOOD Ham and Cheese Croissant (no photo taken because we inhaled it)- a simple pastry option yet the croissant was so flakey, and the cheese was creamy. They have an outside patio that's really cute with nice seating as well as a spacious inside for people looking for a third space to study. The weak coffees, however, are overcompensating with sugar. You know how as soon as you see the milk color whether a coffee is good or bad? The milk color was not promising and it was confirmed once I tasted it. The coffee was nowhere to be found and this was the equivalent of drinking a melted Frappuccino or something of that type of drink. More dessert than anything. It's convenient as it's right of old town Pasadena so if you're looking for a sugar rush while shopping, this is the one for you. The closest parking structure starts charging at $1 for the first 2 hours I believe but I was able to pickup the coffee and get in and out within the grace period so there wasn't a charge. read more

Unfortunately, I was wrong. I decided to get the baby blue matcha drink. I always consider getting a matcha drink a risk since so many places really don't know how to prepare matcha properly. I decided to take a chance on this place and lost. First of all, my drink was waaaaayy too sweet, which almost distracted from the gross powder clumps that would pass my lips every other sip. I have a feeling it was made by mixing all different kinds of powder instead of using real butterfly pea tea and whisked matcha. As if that wasn't bad enough, the powder wasn't even properly mixed in. I was very disappointed with my drink. It was too sweet and tasted super processed. I also got a poppy seed muffin, which luckily saved the day. It was delicious, buttery, and most importantly, not too sweet. And they warmed it up for me which was nice. Overall, I don't think I'd come back here, especially considering there are so many other coffee shops that have better quality drinks in the area. The vibes aren't necessarily "cozy" however the minimalist aesthetic with the eclectic touches are so nice to look at while hanging out. I wouldn't recommend coming if you're trying to have a loud conversation since it is a bit intimate (tucked away in an alley), but there is wifi and quite a few places to plug in a laptop for work. Every year I allow myself a very small handfuls of coffee (i love it, my body doesn't) so I do try to go all out when I go out for the bean juice. I got a rose water latte with a single shot and when I tell you that single shot was strong, it was strong. I was zooted for the rest of the day and I promise you it's not instant espresso for more money. The flavors combinations here show so much intention towards their craft and the service was kind and effortless. My bf and I ordered the maple matcha and the maple latte-- both were a little underwhelming. I made the assumption the drinks would be on the sweeter side-- both drinks were subtle and tasted watered down. The matcha pistachio croissant was the highlight of this visit. The vibes and decoration here are top tier & I was in awe of how cute it was! Definitely a great spot for work from home or if you need to do some homework. I love that it's women owned and I also had the privilege of meeting, Sav who is the owner! She was such a kind hearted individual and made me appreciate every coffee cup she made. We just had coffee at this cute cafe yesterday and loved the ambience! The coffee was presented beautifully and also quite delicious!

I came here to work on a Saturday afternoon, and I thought it was a super cute spot! There are plants lined along the wall, making the space feel very cozy, Parking is typical for downtown Pasadena (street or garage). The place has free wifi, bathrooms (outside of the coffee shop but open for use), and plenty of outlets. Space is limited and some of the bench seating is a bit too tall for the tables (shoutout to my back pain girlies) but overall I really enjoyed studying here. I had the Rosemary Latte which was also incredible and very rosemary foreword, which I loved! Would definitely recommend :) read more
