Saw Mill Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Mill Creek area. It provides good, friendly service, a nice casual "diner" dining experience, and consistently good food. I generally go for the various types of omelettes depending on my mood, while also going for the kielbasa breakfast too. The hash browns are always super crunchy, food is always prepared well, and it's just good food. I've tried other breakfast spots in the area and I've yet to find something that I enjoy as much as Saw Mill. If you're looking for a nice, diner-esque breakfast experience, then look no further than Saw Mill and it's related restaurants, they're consistently good. read more

Tbh I've been here two times and it hasn't been the greatest I ordered French toast the lady didn't even let me choose and basically she chooses the one she wanted to get me I didn't ask for that To end up with it the toast weren't the bread I would like they didn't have wip cream or anything on them they weren't cut nicely or anything the eggs I asked for were not worth what we paid for 58 dollars for that no the eggs I asked for were so watery and didn't have flavor pancakes my bf asked for dry dry I'm not coming back idk why this place has good ratings maybe others like paying too much for nothing read more

I have been a customer for many many years across all locations. The food is still good. Their service is still good. But I recently paid over 20.00 for a club sandwich, and for that, I'm never coming back. They charge you a fee for take out. F*&% all that. Never again. New owners are garbage people I guess. Dicks can pay people over 20.00 an hour, and offer them great benefits (I'm betting the servers at this chain don't get benefits), and the owners are still expanding and they are still rich. What's this places excuse? Like I said - never again. read more

Ordered lunch and breakfast. Juicy burger bursting with flavor. Potato pancakes seasoned just right had the perfect amount of bacon and cheese. Appreciated being greeted and seated quickly. Host and server both had friendly, sincere customer service. Lobby and dining room nice and clean. Delicious Cobb salad with hot fudge banana malt on the side. Generous sized salad with very good portions of chicken avocado etc. Tasted like homemade thousand island dressing and blue cheese dressing. Two pieces of thick toast included. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Delighted with everything for a home town type cafe. read more

Been here Hella times. My wife and I first date was here, so it kind of holds some special place in my heart. place was slammed busy when we got there but since everyone waiting a party of 4 or more we got sat quickly. our server Bridgett was super nice and warming, she took out order and brought us coffees only knock was i had to ask for water. We ordered the cinnamon rolls, breakfast quesadilla with lemon berry pancakes, and rancho omelet with toast and hashbrowns. The cinnamon roll was pretty good, second best one for a breakfast place I've tried close second (matlby cafe is number 1) warm not overly sweet just enough cinnamon. The breakfast quesadilla exceeded my expectations the avocado dipping sauce gah damn. only problem with this meal is its messy sadly taco seasoning was good and bursting with flavor. i got the lemon pancakes to go along with it but sadly it was lacking in lemon tartness. My wife ordered rancho omelet with toast and hashbrowns. Hashbrowns were almost undercooked not crispy at all. my wife didnt finish the omelet part. rating on a scale of 1-10. id say 6.8. read more

Ive been here a few times. They have a good variety of breakfast items with a good location in mill creek. Their potato pancakes are pretty much hash browns. Their gravy was a bit rich for my liking so next time I think I will order it on the side. Try to come early on a weekend or later in the day as they are normally pretty busy. First time here and found them on Yelp. It was nice to have dine-in open. Waitress was friendly and service was good. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict with Ham and it was delicious! Hollandaise sauce was creamy and they don't skimp on the ingredients. It was choice of hash browns or pancakes on the side. Too much hash brown for me to finish. Next time I might try the pancakes. Next time I would try the Turkey Melt or Almond French toast. Those looked good too read more

Have you ever been somewhere that is ... well... completely just fine. The food is fine. The environment is.. fine. It's all fine. What I didn't like? How crowded it is, the food took quite a while to come out, although the server was very nice. What I did like? There is an app to get on the waitlist so it was easy to get in. What was fine? The food. I got a hash, the meat was a little funky. My husband got the eggs benedict and it was fine. The coffee was very watery and lacked much flavor (Said the black coffee drinker, so I may not be the best gauge on this, but yuck) So. it's fine. Go if you want, don't if you don't. I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is consistently excellent and I highly recommend the Vege Hash. I can't eat eggs so I order it without the eggs that normally come on top. They even offer gluten-free toast! But even more than the delicious breakfasts we have there, I love their staff. This morning we were greeted and seated by Alicia and Brigette was our waitress. My Mom has dementia and often thinks these women are lifelong friends of hers, and to their credit, they never let on that they're not. They are just good people to their very cores and they have my enduring gratitude. Their kindness never fails to warm my heart. This morning someone anonymously paid for out breakfast - an act of kindness that brought tears to my eyes. read more

We had breakfast here this morning and both ordered an eggs Benedict. Servers were friendly although service was slow. Hash browns were great. Eggs Benedict was awful you know it's not good when everything tastes like it was freshly unscrewed. For the price I was expecting it to be considerably better that it was. Quite simply there are better places price, performance and experience wise. I think the most damning thing that I can say is that it would have been perfectly forgettable if it had slightly more flavor. I come here often enough and if you are looking for a nice diner style breakfast place this is one of my go to spots. The service is usually top notch but the food can be hit or miss. We found a hair in my food today but the staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond to getting it remade. My nephew ordered a cheese omelet and it came with ham and cheese. Thankfully he is not a picky eater so he picked most of them out. The staff offered to get him a new one but he was too hungry to let it go. Again, great service and pretty good food. Let's start with the good- fantastic food. In particular, the cinnamon rolls were fluffy and the icing was creamy. The biscuits were structurally robust and held up well under flavorful sausage gravy. The fries were salty and crisp. The burger well seasoned. If only the service could be like the food! The kitchen and operations were completely disorganized. The restaurant was staffed well, but had a hard time predicting wait times. We waited the told 40 minutes for a table. Not a problem. Then came in to be told to wait again. 20 minutes. We were seated. 30 minutes to order. Wait again, 25 minutes to food. Tables of larger parties seated after us were served first. I liked the food, but the disorganized operations will probably keep me away. Maybe opt to come at a low traffic time, but beware of Sundays at 11 am. read more

This used to be my go to spot when I worked in the town center at my clinic. Now I'm so sad I'm not as close anymore. During the pandemic I was door dashing them all the time, some may say my blood is now saw mill. LOL. However recently they've taken themselves off Door Dash and I'm devastated Their food is truly yummy & tasty! From the best breakfast you'll ever eat! To amazing lunch options like and dinner items. This first time visit to Saw Mill Café was for lunch on a very rainy day (4/12/17). But once seated, I noticed that all the people in this part of the dining area ordered breakfast/brunch items. Being that I like all things breakfast, this was a good sign. My wait person Kellie hands down also recommended the Corned Beef Hash with Biscuit and Gravy (1/2 order, $10.75) over the Prime Rib Dip. It was so worthwhile - lean tasty, not salty corned beef chunks mixed in with hash browns, one egg over easy, and opted for the biscuit with sausage gravy, not toast. Can't believe this was a half order! Quite the generous serving! I was also kept well hydrated with ice water. I also ordered their monstrous cinnamon roll ($5, with extra icing) to go. The Homie and I ended up eating half of it the next morning (4/13/17), and then the other half this morning (4/14/17) hence the progressive Yelp post. Absolutely amazing and a definite front runner over the ginormous cinnamon roll version at Maltby Café. I had breakfast at home, then for lunch at Saw Mill Café had breakfast again, and later that evening after work more breakfast fare. Note to self, yes, definitely I like all things breakfast! Can't believe for all the years visiting other spots at Mill Creek Town Center, this is my first venture to Saw Mill Café. I can see how this spot is always busy, can't imagine the wait on weekends! My family and I come here often on the weekends for brunch. It is always busy. Even if you get there at like 8am. So expect to wait. They take names down the old school way and shout your name when the table is ready. One time we missed their calling and they bumped us down the list (annoying but whatever). Their lobby is pretty small for how many people are actually waiting. Every waitress or waiter we have had have not been very warm or friendly, idk if it's the stress or what. Servers here are not very friendly. They hardly talk to you besides getting your order and bringing it to you, and I mean that's fine but like refill the water every once in a while or smile. The last Sunday we were here Rebecca definitely changed our minds about service. She was so nice. When she was taking our orders she was so warm making us feel good about our decisions, offering us options half or full. It really felt like she was taking her time with us and not rushing us. However as it did get busier she did kind of slide off, she said she would be back with waters and didn't come back until like 20 minutes later. Offered whipped cream for french toast but never brought it (not a big deal we could've asked again). And she told us that a full order of french toast was four slices cut in half and a half was a "generous half" so it was three slices cut in half. But what we actually got three slices in the full order and two slices in the half order. It was fine, but like who was wrong the kitchen or the server? Don't preach the menu if you don't know what is actually coming The food however is fantastic! It's always nice when you can get brunch and lunch at the same time for the people who would rather have either or. My family gets food across the board, omelettes, french toast, chicken strips, burgers etc. I love that you can get half or full options of french toast, omelettes, eggs benny, etc My sisters do have allergies so they are always very mindful about those and they always leave here happy and with no rashes lol read more

I have been looking forward to trying this spot for breakfast since we moved into the area. With dining restrictions lifting, we figured it would be a good chance, with understand that restaurants are still getting back into the swing of things. We got on the waitlist which showed a 30 minute wait, that ended up talking 50 minutes. Not a big deal, we were ready to order when we sat down. The waitress came to take our order after 10 minutes, and then the waiting began. After about 40 minutes of waiting, she let us know, "it will be a bit longer". After waiting another 20 minutes, we had still not received our food, and had not been checked up on. I wouldn't have been upset about waiting this long if we had been given a heads up that they were short staff, or running behind, but to wait without any communication like this, is simply not acceptable. We unfortunately had to leave, without food, and after an overall wait for almost 2 hours. The food going to other tables looked decent, but with this kind of experience I'm unfortunately not sure the place is worth the visit. read more
