One of my new favorite Thai spots on the island! I've been meaning to try this spot for a long time and finally did for Valentine's Day. We made reservations and were seated quickly. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, and put our orders in fairly quickly. The ambience was very relaxed even though it was fairly busy with almost every table occupied. Despite that, we had really good service. We ordered the Calamari and Curry Puff for apps and had the Spicy Crispy Pork Belly and Roasted Duck in Red Curry for entrees. We also decided to grab some cocktails and tried the Sawasdee Storm and Mai Thai. The cocktails were really great and fairly strong, especially the Sawasdee Storm. I enjoyed the Mai Thai and finished it fairly quickly. The pricing was good for the amount we got and we enjoyed it. The Calamari was delicious and well made and seasoned. I loved that it was tender without being too chewy. The Curry Puffs were 4 pieces and they were flavorful and delicious. I loved that they weren't too oily or flaky. The entrees were absolutely delicious! I loved the Spicy Crispy Pork Belly and the flavorful sauce it came with. I wish I'd gotten it a bit spicier but next time! The Roasted Duck in Red Curry was the winner for the evening. It was so tender and falvorful and just delicious! We enjoyed it immensely! Lastly, we grabbed Coconut Pudding and Thai Taro Custard for dessert, both of which were perfect! I paired my dessert with one of their award-winning teas, Koh Samet Sun, which made our dessert perfect! Overall, this is a great spot with very friendly staff and delicious food! We ended up meeting the owner as we left and his dedication to great service made the evening all the more enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend popping by if you're in the area!

Everything was awesome. Went with a group of friends. Will highly recommend. I had the Thai Basil with Shrimp and some crab fried rice which were both delicious. The fried ice cream is a must have!! The ice cream was 'flaming'. What an experience!

This was my first visit and it was a good experience. I enjoyed the variety of options on the menu and fast service. I will definitely be back to visit.

Thank you Yelpers for the suggestion. I had this place bookmarked for a while and figured next time I'm in the neighborhood, I must try and am glad I did. The restaurant is roomy and beautifully decorated. There's a few pictures on the walls that depict Thailand's landscape. Having been there myself, it was nice to find this spot for great Thai food. Drunken noodles was the review favorite so my hubby ordered it and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the masaman curry to see if it was the real deal and it was delicious. My kids ordered a few appetizers and had the chicken with peanut sauce entree. Everything was tasty and well executed. The money bag chicken appetizer was really crispy so that made it very enjoyable. And the classic curry puff appetizer we always have to get, was so good here. We couldn't get enough of it. The Thai Iced teas were very good as well, great flavor and not overly sweet. Best dessert: mango with sticky rice. It was true to the ones we've had in Thailand so this was a super nice treat. The only reason why I didn't give this place a five star review was the service. The staff was quick to seat and greet but not very friendly. I felt rushed to order as well even though we were well ahead of closing time. Also oddly, multiple servers walked around and came to us but whenever I needed someone, one would waive over another to help. Just odd. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza so parking was easy. The bar is a full on bar with a full time bartender on hand. The cocktails looked good (variety) but I didn't order any... Will have to return for those.

Tonight I ordered the drunken noodles to go and they were pretty good! the noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavors were definitely there! However, I was quite annoyed when the man who handed over the food told me I couldn't go outside to take photos of the dish because it was only for dine-in which is understandable but at the time of me ordering the restaurant was pretty dead only a handful of people INSIDE, so it didn't make much sense. Overall, great food but disappointing service.

Great Thai restaurant in Plainview! Excellent decor and interior design. The high walls and grand paintings really makes this place stand out. The food was authentic tasting and filling. My favorite dish was the Drunken Noodles. The Curry Puffs were a great appetizer. The Pork Ribs were essentially just deep fried and lacked flavor. The Pad Thai was decent. I would also recommend the Mango Sticky Rice and the Coconut Pudding for desserts if you still have room after the entrees. Warm and sweet! The service was good and the restaurant was kept very clean. They comply with distancing of the tables and have plexiglass barriers between. $$-$$$ depending on what you order.

This place is soooo good…read more I come here often for my sushi fix. Ordered a chicken satay for the appetizer and it was bomb. Just make sure you aren't allergic to peanuts. otherwise, the sauce they give you to dip it in is otherworldly. I tried 3 of their specialty rolls on my most recent trip. The Crazy Roll (spicy tuna, yellowtail, salmon, crunch, avocado & cucumber) delivered a nice spicy kick with great texture from the crunch. The Super Dragon Roll (panko eel, avocado topped with julienne crab and red tobiko) was rich and satisfying. The panko gave it a nice crunch while the toppings brought sweetness and color. The Sweetheart Roll was a solid pick too, with a good balance of tempura, crab, and the smoked salmon/cooked shrimp on top. The fish tasted fresh overall, rice was properly seasoned, and the presentations were appealing. Service was friendly and the spot has a comfortable vibe for a casual sushi dinner. Portions are satisfying without being overwhelming. After I finished, I felt satiated but not stuffed. I'm ready to come back again to try more rolls. Give this place a shot!

The first part of this review is for mainstream audiences and the second part is for other Yelpers…read more Part 1. Given the culinary brilliance here, if you order one of your favorites, it'll be done well, but you're better off trying something unique that might not be on the menu at your local Chinese, Indian or Thai spot. Chili tofu and basil ginger fish were two great showcases for the complex spices available here. (I'm a real American hero, I ate fourths since my parents preferred leftovers that didn't have the top spice levels). And if you're spice-adverse yet chili-curious, the honey chili potato is worth a shot. These are essentially fries. Our server, Ten, was amazing. He adeptly handled the multiple time frames of our orders and is ready to provide suggestions for those who didn't spend 40 minutes researching on Yelp. Part 2. I wish there was editing capability for older reviews. I'm a two-sentence guy - are there fish tacos, does it have strange hours of operation and will they sneer at me for wearing Kohls? - and my first Kunga Kitchen attempt was a bit extra. It even had a narrative arc. I'm someone who thinks movies can be better if the character doesn't change or learn anything, but I tried for three-act structure and can't possibly top that original review so it would be better if I could a couple of recent entrees to the first one.

The were only 2 other people in the restaurant. The hostess brought us to a booth. Very comfortable. Waiter appeared a few minutes later and presented us with a tablet to order our meals. Lava milk was nice and not too sweet and the chrysanthemum tea was a good choice to compliment the meal. We ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings. Cooked to perfection. We also ordered the half Peking duck and spicy black fish. The Peking duck was served with pancakes to wrap the duck as well as cucumber, pineapple and hoisin sauce. Duck tasted delicious not greasy at all. It was my favorite part of the meal. Spicy black fish was good as well and not too spicy. This is a high end Chinese fusion restaurant.
