food i'd been craving a sesame seed bun from the restaurant after thinking some weeks ago about the 3 fast food joints to where i've been with such a food item: schlotzsky sandwiches, burger king, and mcdonald burgers. while the original idea generated a concept of menu hacking the sesame seed bun game with a schlotzsky bun, double whopper patty, and quarter pounder toppings for an ultimate combination, i'd reeled in that ultimateness to appreciate the essentialism of our subject restaurant. so boom, original turkey sandwich, momma pulled some tomfoolery aking like she thought her original that comes with pork was the original turkey, pickle on the side as a welcome addition, and some member mark white cheddar puffs and sweet tea from the crib to compliment the sammie. all around bomb diggity, with the only complaint i've got being the sesame seed bun coming light on the sesame seeds, but perhaps that gives a good reason to return for the schlaurter woppounder menu hack, which you might achieve by shooting from schlotzsky to the mickey d shortly further south down yale, then to the bk off of 41st & memorial, southeast. service w service; the worker receiving our drive thru order quickly responded to mom saying she submitted an order on the app. then, we received excellent customer service at the window itself, though the patio on the restaurant north side was open too, and daily temperatures have been reaching high enough averages that a patio dining experience would be very enjoyable; fans only tho. ambiance cozy; like I said, fans only. the lights hung around the building was pretty chill too. read more

I decided to give this Schlotzsky's a second chance. Dan and I were disappointed last time we ate here. We split a large original. The bread wasn't as good as what we remembered and they were skimpy on the ingredients. We suspected the change in the quality might have something to do with the size. I decided to find out so I ordered a small original. I was pleased to find the bread was the same delicious sourdough Schlostzky's is known for and the small sandwich had ample ingredients. I would recommend getting small or medium sandwiches instead of the large. The amount of sodium in a small original is 1640 and the recommended daily amount of sodium is 2300 or below, so that leaves 660 for the rest of the day. If you are on a low sodium diet, they do have some cheese and veggie sandwiches and salads below 1,000 mg. Most restaurants put a lot of salt in their food. It's not just Schlotzsky's. My husband has to limit his sodium so we check. The service was fast and friendly, but this restaurant is lacking in ambiance. The seats in the booths are wearing out. They look bad and they're uncomfortable. They have a nice patio area where you can probably take your dog. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays pizzas are $5. Wednesdays are bogo pizza nights. read more

Always been my favorite fast food sandwich (The Original). We decided to split the large, which they call Giant. It was large but mostly bread. And the bread didn't have the spongy texture that has been their hallmark forever. Service was quick and the food was pretty good. Next time I'll go back to the small for each of us. About the same price and I think the smaller bread makes for better bread texture and a better ratio of bread to fillings. read more

Very odd experience. Parking lot was empty upon arrival around 6:30pm. Employee was unlocking main door as we were walking up. Restaurant was completely empty of customers. Employees were acting odd, and unfriendly. Were told the dining room was closed. A group of the employees friends came in, loud and boisterous, some went back into the kitchen area. Great Food and Service, was in Tulsa, OK and was glad they had a location. Our location closed years ago.

I gave a 3 because I was very pleased with the potato soup. But I also ordered a Cinnabon roll from them and it was trash ! The roll was dry , edges were hard and there was barely any frosting. Huge disappointment because I've had Cinnabon rolls from other schlotzsky locations and there were never this bad. The Cinnabon looks delicious, right? You'd never of guessed that it was ice cold to the touch. Not terrible enough for 2 stars though. What's terrible enough to knock this review down to 2 stars was the fact that I drove back through the drive through and told them it was cold and the cashier just stuck her hand out of the window and motioned for me to give it to her. She then said "I'll throw it in the microwave I guess." I get it back and it's the same cinnamon roll, still chilled. Waste of money. this is a rare occasion where fast food is at high quality. i got the beef bacon smokecheesy & it was everything i could've asked for AND more. the chipotle mayo & was incredible, just the right amount for the sandwich. they're nowhere near stingy with the beef & bacon as well! they have their own chips, i rolled with the jalapeno flavor. they were good, slightly kettle cooked (my favorite type of chip). their sweet tea was good as well, not too sweet like other places, i usually have to do half & half at places i go. the only thing to really pay attention to are the prices. the combos are around $10, especially for their specialty sandwiches. read more

I deliver doordash day and night 10-12 hrs a day and at first I was avoiding this restaurant at night because the long lines and the lobby was closed in the evening but recently I found out that the lobby is open for dashers and I appreciate that so much. Pretty good for a fast food deli. They have more options on the menu than the Schlotzsky's on 71st. I usually get a pick 2 consisting of 1/2 salad 1/2 sandwich. The portions are pretty big so you definitely won't be hungry afterwards. My favorite items are the turkey guacamole sandwich and the turkey cobb salad. I have to give them props on their salads because it always tastes fresh. What I also love are the complimentary two slices of bread baked with cheese and pesto sauce. Delicious! read more

It is great to stop for lunch during the week or on the weekend while running errands. The interior is clean and the staff is very helpful. This is a newly remodeled location and very cozy on the inside. My friend had no idea what he wanted and the cashier was patient and had helpful suggestions. The parking can been a little annoying, because it is located in a grocery store parking lot. There is a drive through, which is very convenient. It is somewhat pricey, but the food is great. This location gets really crowded, but they do a great job. They're always polite and friendly. They've never gotten my order wrong either, which is good cause my orders can be a little complicated. But it's worth repeating, it gets really crowded. If it's after church or on the lunch hour, you're gonna have to wait a little while. But they always hustle so you never feel like you're waiting that long. Finding seating can be a real challenge though. And just a general Schlotzky's tip: go with the pick 2 so you can get a gasped a sandwich AND a half a pizza. Best of both worlds! read more

"Sorry we are out of that" "I'll have a Tuscan sandwich" "Sorry we are out of turkey" "I'll have a medium drink" "Sorry we are all out of medium cups" This was 1pm on a Sunday afternoon - I assume when a lot of people go out for lunch.
