Cozy little coffee shop with interesting history! Service was friendly and the food was good. My husband got the waffle sausage sandwich. I thought it sounded a little strange at first, but boy, was I wrong. DELISH!!! Next time we go, I'm absolutely ordering that. They also played Taylor Swift the entire time I was there which scores extra points in my book. I'll definitely be back, especially when the weather gets nicer and I can take advantage of the patio!

Advertised sandwich.... Not how it actually looks

I ordered an iced coffee, they gave me a cold brew. The cold brew is WAY too strong it was undrinkable. I ended up throwing mine away. The food, there was an ad for the waffle sandwich outside. It looked like a good and full sandwich. I saw the price on the menu and it was reasonable, so I got it. The sandwich is NOT what is advertised. It's a small sorry excuse for a "sandwich". We're talking two mini waffles with an even smaller sausage. I will NOT be coming back. I love supporting local businesses, but this one isn't worth it. If it weren't the only one around here, I'm sure it'd be closed by now.

This is a unique spot to grab coffee and a bite to eat. I love how they repurposed an old one house school house into a coffee shop and repurposed an historic building. I ordered a vanilla latte, and it was very good. They had a lot of coffee options and monthly specials. It came out extremely hot! To eat, I ordered the bacon, egg bagel sandwich. They had a few hot breakfast items and some baked goods. They have a nice large patio outside, and two levels of seating inside the old school house. I also noticed they had a drive through which is super convenient. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our experience here for breakfast!

this is a great little coffee shop just east of Saxony in Fishers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a little red schoolhouse that has been converted into a coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have all the popular go to's, however my favorite is chai tea latte. they also have a selection of lunch sandwiches. I love their grilled cheese and their chicken salad on croissant. There's plenty of parking outside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a beautiful deck to sit at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a rental space for small events and they do some catering the story behind the building is very unique and they even have some testimonial from students who went to school House number seven. How great is that? [[HIGHLIGHT]]be sure and bring your fur babies. They're allowed on the deck.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a cute coffee shop! As a teacher, I appreciate the school vibes. So picturesque and quaint. I ordered an iced vanilla chai latte. I was given a hot vanilla chai latte. Being the passive person I am, I didn't say anything. I will say, it was still super delicious and maybe it was better warm! On a cold morning, it cooled down quickly. Definitely a unique coffee shop that I would return to again.

Cool place built in an old schoolhouse. A little small inside but a very nice outside deck for nice weather. Very good coffee and friendly service.

If you are into going to unique coffee shops...that also has good beverages...then, add this to your places to go! The building used to be a 1 room school house...so, when you walk in and to your right...you will see original photos that Commemorate what it once was....plus, they have a picture album with other photos...it's a pretty cool touch! Outside of that, you'll get to experience modern conveniences ... such as cushy chairs and a cozy fireplace where convos with a friend can linger on in comfort. Then, upstairs there is a room dedicated for the little to play while you sit back and enjoy a cup of beverage or simple cafe food of choice. Definitely, one if my new faves to enjoy a hot chocolate or streamed!

Sally Jo's sausage & cheddar soufflé

I don't know who Sally Jo is but her soufflé is one of the best things around. Every time I eat this I'm amazing because it tastes even better than I expected... and that's a high bar!

Listen, I appreciate the ambiance of Schoolhouse 7 as much as anyone. Very cute. Also, the staff treated us well. Would be a great place to work remotely, especially that upstairs area. That said, the drinks themselves were underwhelming. The biggest problem is overheating. My kids and I both burned our tongues. And, milk loses sweetness over 160 degrees, so my latte was somewhat bitter and flavorless. I would request that management make sure that the baristas keep a closer eye on temperature. Meanwhile, my father described his coffee as "just ok." Not great, considering the small is nearly $3. In sum, my opinion is that too many of these Yelp reviews are overweighting ambiance and underweighting product. Overall, this is a mediocre cafe.

If you are looking for a place to host your next event, schoolhouse 7 did an amazing job with our daughter's grad party! The staff went above and beyond to help make our night run smoothly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This rustic, cozy & charming space is perfect for small or large parties with multiple floors and outdoor spaces![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We really appreciate all they did to make our night so special for our graduates and all our guests!

I was looking forward to it, as this has been on my list of places to go, and we haven't been here before. There were supposed to be 10 of us be we ended up being 8 this night. We had reservations, and had the lovely little private room in the back. (The whole restaurant seems just to seat about 20 or so.) Decor is fun & a nod to all things Britsh. We had 7 scotch eggs for the table. They were served cut in half with a mustard hollandaise, and we re scrumptious. Around the table, we had a variety of beers nda cocktails. I asked the server to pair me a white to go with my fish & chips, and asked for anything except Moscato. They sent a sauvignon blanc that was perfect. My friend next to be had a bloody Mary that was definitely Instagram worthy (see pics). The menu is fairly extensive, but most of us ordered either the fish & chops or the steak & Guinness pie (like a shepherd's pie). For pricing, the scotch eggs are $14.95 ea.; the fish & chips was $29, and the steak & Guinness pie was $30, so I would classify this as "upscale pub." Everything was tasty and a #yum #ReviewsByRL

So, I finally decided to stop in. Brickhouse is located in a larger strip center set back from Fall Creek Road at 96th. It has both indoor and outdoor tables. There's a curb-cut almost directly in front of it, and nearby parking offers accessible options. This strip center is actually fairly old, though Brickhouse moved in not long after the pandemic hit as I recall. It has survived and thrived, from what I've been told, because of their quality products, winning ambience, and friendly service. This is the retail home of Brickhouse Roasters. There's a strong element of faith as the cornerstone of Brickhouse as the owners were missionaries, and their stated mission involves using their coffeehouse as a training platform for missionaries. Brickhouse is locally owned and Indy-based. You can get their beans here, and there's a wide variety of options. Basic options include coffees, lattes, espressos, and all the varieties one would expect. Brickhouse also carries Nelson Teas, Thrive Kombucha, Pure Memory Water, Triple X Root Beer, Martinelli Apple Juice, Natalie Orange Juice, Evian Sparkling Water, imported Mexican sodas and other options. Brickhouse has breakfast and lunch options, baked goods, and quite a bit more. The ambience is definitely a winner. It's intimate yet bold, comfortable yet sort of invigorating. The employees I met were super friendly on a quiet Sunday morning. They are open seven days a week, though there's some variance in their hours. As someone who is almost embarrassingly devoted to my Keurig, I was pleasantly surprised to see they do have some pod options for retail. I'd just gone to a Yelp event, so I kept it pretty simple on this visit and picked up an iced coffee. There's no doubt I'll be back to try the baked goods. I also noted the friendliness of the customers. That's always a good sign to me. As someone who is frequently alone, I tend to go to those places where I can connect even if it's just a passing friendliness. I felt that here. I'll be back.

I'll go back another day when I have more time as it was a good spot for a meet up and or to work.

I will say I can honestly appreciate that they have a reservation sign up for the back of the caboose which makes so much sense. Time and time again we have gone to coffee shops and too many people are just hogging up areas and or treating the coffee shops like it's their personal office area so i definitely appreciate that you must make a reservation to enjoy the experience of the caboose.
