Quality/Quantity - Just like Ijji Noodle House, this is my go-to local brewery. If you are following, you might remember I used to come here every week (if not almost daily....). Just take a look at all my pictures, probably only 10% of the pictures that I should be taking, lol. Being a local, it is easy to get distracted with all my friends, guests, and family and easy to forget to "Yelp," especially after the first beer or two. My "go-to" beer is still Mars or Bust. And I usually end with one (or more) of their IPA's; DIPA, TIPA, etc... And once in a while we still get food, lol. I am starting to bring all our guests and out of state visitors here to end our nights. Ambiance - Still a beautiful place to see and visit. Open 7 days a week from 9am or 11am to 9pm or 10pm. See Yelp or their website. And they have/sell propane... 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. Plenty of parking when I come. Events - See pictures or their website. Service - 90% of the time, good. But there are always those off days with lower service, that I try to ignore as I understand we are all human. Price - Reasonably priced for the quality of beer. $8-9 a beer + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 5/2021. I am still a loyal customer.

Lots going on at this little hot spot! We stayed as overnight guests in our RV through our Harvest History membership. We were able to unhook our trailer and make a quick drive over to Lake Tahoe, which was amazing. We returned to Schussboom around 5pm for a few cold beers and some food. The staff was amazing from the bartenders, to the servers, to the person helping us park the trailer, to one of the owners that we spoke to. All very friendly and helpful. The venue is cool, there are a variety of hangout spots, inside and out, depending on your needs. Tons of events and activities happening throughout the week with a full bar and menu. Definitely worth a visit.

The kid and I stopped here today to try a different pizza place. We walked up to the counter and ordered a large cheese pizza with 2 sodas. We got our pizza within a few minutes. My kid loved it. The pizza had a thin, chewy crust. Good flavor. I think they used pasta sauce as their pizza sauce which I liked a lot. My kid even commented, "This is good pizza" and gave me a thumbs up. The place had a little play area where kids can play with wooden blocks. My kid played there for a few minutes. The service seemed like it was a "serve yourself " type of place. The only thing they did was bring out our pizza. I needed a "to go" box and saw some boxes sitting in the back so I just got up and grabbed one. No one comes around and checks on you to see if you need anything else. I didn't see any cheese or hot peppers around for the pizza either. Oh well, if I do order another pizza from there, I'd just get it to go and add my own cheese and peppers at home.

Talk about a happy accident!! I visited Schussboom Brewing Co. with my daughter today, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it's clear they've thought of everything to make it family‑friendly. Beer: We tried the Spa Lager -- an American lager infused with cucumber and lemon -- and it was absolutely delicious. Light, crisp, and super refreshing. They have a full line up and also offer flights. Definitely have to check out others next time I visit. Food: For lunch, we shared the "Go To Pizza" and their Tatanka wings -- both were flavorful and came out hot and fresh, a real step up from typical brewery bites. Extra Perks: One of the coolest things is their outdoor garden area, which seems perfect for larger gatherings. They also have a rooftop space and a dedicated kids' area with kid‑friendly shows -- a huge plus for families. Events: They offer daily events, and we saw they have a fun lineup coming up -- including a singles night, a Mother's Day brunch, and they even serve breakfast. Lots of reasons to come back.

The food is awesome and they have so many fun events. They also have great mocktails as well as a range of alcohol beverages. It can get load depending on the day or event they are doing. It is very kid friendly and there is lots of outdoor seating for dogs too. Great for the summer or winter and the food is amazing. I have yet to have a bad thing.

Came here for Father's Day Brunch. Sorry I didn't get ant pics of the brunch food. I didn't think it was the best. It was decent for sure. The price seemed fair. Their food on and other day off there regular menu is really good. The service was good, nice and friendly. Cool spot with nice outdoor seating, they even have an upstairs. Very roomy and good place to meet up with friends and hangout.

    Menu offers something for everyone!

Not only is the service consistently kind, attentive, and just plain awesome, but their menu is extensive - offering a little something for, literally, anyone. Definitely not just a brewery... Absolutely love this place!

I met a few friends to catch up on a Thursday night. We hadn't seen each other for awhile so this was a great spot for us to meet up for a drink and have some food. The bar was fairly full, but not so busy that it was loud or overcrowded. The main seating area had plenty of spots left even with a number of groups enjoying their evening. We grabbed the end a of table for our group of four. I had a cider and the Mexican loaded tots. The cider was crisp and refreshing, not too tart and not too sweet. It hit that perfect spot right inbetween. The tots were warm and crispy, loaded with chorizo, pickled onions, sour cream, cilantro, jalapeños, and Cotija. The menu is fairly large and has a good selection of dishes that should accommodate just about anyone. The drink menu is even larger! Lots of in-house made brews and a couple ciders are listed on the menu screens. The bar can make just about anything else you may desire. If you want a great place to chill with some drinks and great food on the south side of town, check it out.

Curl Lip Lager, Twerepenes Hazy, Mars or Bust Imperial, Roast Face Stout. All good

I love this place and don't go here enough. But every time I go, it gets better and better. Today Rachael greeted us and made some stellar beer recommendations. She also wished my husband a happy birthday at the counter and when we left. I appreciated that. I had a flight of Lip Curl lager, crisp and light with a nice bite, Twerepenes Hazy, great fruity hoppiness, Mars or Bust imperial, elevated aromatics, and Roast Face stout, very roasted coffee but not too heavy. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was good and crispy with a very flavorful briney pickle relish. My husband had the pork bbq sliders with two sauces. He loved both sauces and loved how meaty the sliders were. We were there for lunch. It was busy but not overly so. It's a very casual atmosphere which we also loved. It's great to find a local brewery that has some great beers. It's also great to find a pub with elevated, well made food. To have both is ideal

Love this place. They've continually grown and adapted to add more to their business, food and beers are absolutely great but hard to choose from the beer because of so many great options. The outdoor seating upstairs and main level are great options as well as the indoor space. Ambiance is great and the staff takes the time to explain the food and beers when deciding. Definitely give them a try.

Another 5 star visit to Schussboom, it's just the absolute best. Extremely friendly staff, kick ass pizza, killer beers, and amazing sides to much on. Don't even get me started on the ambiance here, Schussboom is a total vibe, very Reno, perfect for those cold winter nights. I can't recommend the Mozzarella cheese wedges enough, they don't have them all the time but when they do, holy crap... GET THEM. I still have also yet to have a singe pizza here that I don't absolutely love. See ya soon Shhh-boom.

It's clear they focus on quality from the dough to the sauce to the cheese to the toppings and they put in a healthy dose of passion, fun and love too. It's been a minute since I've stopped at this place but western lights festival brought me downtown and this was part of my plan from the go. I was excited to see that they added woodfired chicken wings, one of my personal favorite dishes anywhere and had to order them and these is absolutely did not disappoint and I'll be back for them again and again. Sometimes it's tough to get a really good crispy chicken wing out of a woodfired oven but this team nailed it in there, buffalo Parmesan sauce was divine, especially with a little bit of the house made ranch. The pizzas were also good, but I didn't like that. They served them in paper takeout boxes because even the short trip from the cutting table to us in that box steamed the pizza and made it super floppy. Toppings were sliding right off the pepperoni pizza we had and it just wasn't the best pizza experience Of the white pizza we tried with spinach and roasted garlic was awesome. I don't wanna held up a little better maybe because it didn't have sauce and the roasted garlic was perfect. Staff is super sweet and accommodating menu is diverse and interesting in and the vibes of West Street market are great for a date or a group so put this one on your list.
