My Review for Scooter Solutions and Cycles I honestly believe that many of the people leaving negative reviews are bringing in old, badly damaged scooters/motorcycles and expecting a miracle. In reality, those bad reviews are a very low number compared to the actual crowd this shop serves. Every time I am there, I see the long lines for maintenance and repairs, and at least half of them look like old, beat-up scooters/motorcycles--not just brand-new ones. And the shop does a great job on all of them. In fact, I recently talked to a guy there who had a really old, beat-up scooter, and he told me himself that this shop always fixes his problems perfectly. Come to think of it, every time I go, I see multiple people with both old and new scooters/motorcycles all having positive experiences, getting positive results, and sharing positive feedback. My own experience here has been entirely different from the bad reviews and consistently excellent. Fantastic Customer Service, Fairness, & Why There's a Wait The lady at the front desk is always incredibly polite, nice, and highly knowledgeable when it comes to paperwork and explaining how things work. In fact, when I once asked if I could pay extra to skip the line and get my scooter/motorcycle fixed faster, she told me that they operate strictly on a "first-come, first-served" basis because they want to treat everyone fairly. I respected that level of integrity immensely. It is true that they are often backed up with a lot of scooters/motorcycles in line for repairs and maintenance. But there is a reason for that long wait time: it's because they do good business and people keep coming back! Yes, you might have to wait a little bit for them to get to your scooter/motorcycle, but once they do, they are going to fix it right. They tell you the truth about the timeline depending on how many scooters/motorcycles are ahead of yours, and they deliver real results. Expert Mechanics & Honest Sales Mr. Gus is the boss, and he is very polite and extremely knowledgeable about the mechanical side of things. The technicians who work under him are also incredibly kind and highly skilled. I have purchased two rides from this shop--first a brand-new scooter-style motorcycle, and later a second brand-new motorcycle. They are always completely honest about the price and they never try to pressure you into buying something you don't need. They patiently answered all of my questions and genuinely want to help. They go out of their way to make sure you get the best experience possible and leave completely happy with whatever scooter/motorcycle you choose. Neither of my rides has ever given me an issue, and every time I bring them back for scheduled maintenance, the entire team does a fantastic job. Why I'm Writing This I realized that people rarely take the time to write a review when things go well because they are busy with their lives. But the moment someone is angry or emotionally distraught--often without even understanding the mechanical issues they are dealing with--their first reaction is to leave a 1-star review. I don't usually write reviews, but Scooter Solutions absolutely deserves the recognition. They run an honest, high-quality business, and they are hands down the best place around for anyone who wants their scooter/motorcycle taken care of the right way. read more

They charged me over 300dollar on a small moped and when i picked it up i drove literally 30 miles and broke down again ! I purchased two motorcycles from them, only to have one of the bikes(125cc raptor hellcat) literally stolen by members and staff of scooter solutions. They switched parts on my bike and falsified recipt and vin numbers on the bike. Outrageous!!!! God saved em! read more

I bought a scooter months ago supposedly had a year warranty on the engine the scooter started giving me problems I was charged for the repair and the scooter broke down the very next day with the same problem then I dropped off my keys to have the scooter picked up and it wasn't Gus the manager there doesn't care about anything but a dollar I will never ever deal with scooter solutions in life I've reported them to better business bureau and consulting with with a lawyer on the third fraud ! read more

Gus, the manager charged me $385.00 & my moped scooter that is still not starting although he already cashed the check. He doesn't answer the phone or emails. My scooter only had about 750 miles on it & I was riding it once a week from since March although he tried to tell me that it was just sitting. I want what I paid for which is a moped scooter that starts. If he is not going to do his job then his supervisor needs to replace him. I want what I paid for...It is WRONG to CHEAT me! Recently got a used bike from here, covered by warranty. Rode really nice the first few days, claimed to be "recently serviced by our team". well less than a week comes by and the bike turns off while I'm riding. Mind you now, I wasn't holding the throttle wide open or abusing it. I look under and I see a buildup of cobwebs on the carb, loose dust, and rotting rubber lines. If the bike isn't ready to be ridden and driven, don't sell it! This sour lemon has been a Waste of time, Money, And energy! read more

Absolute worst, went there tonight despite the bad reviews. Asked if they could repair my tubeless tire that had a nail in it, guy tells me it's a solid tire,I tell him it's tubeless. He pulls the nail out and it makes a popping sound, he goes "oh I thought it was solid, you will need a tube." Ruins my tire, had to walk two miles home. I am a brand new customer. I have learned my lesson. To always be open-minded to new opinions is the valuable lesson. I love ease dropping in another customer's business. " You gave me this brand new belt. Now it's broke! " the customer shouted. I said nothing while tracing my dress shoes from one piece of dirt to another piece. The man left out the scooter store. I walked up to the counter, paid for my brand new belt, and drove away. A week later [ haha ], I heard a snap! My scooter began to decelerate on the freeway. "Honk!" screamed numerous of vehicles. " That couldn't have been my belt." I thought. I called Scooter Solution seventeen times! If you are thinking about doing business with Scooter Solution, think twice. Your phone calls are not going to be answered. Because I stood outside listening to the lady saying how full their answer machine had been for weeks. My own experience, the young man at the front desk - the one who got yelled at - will never look you in the eyes. I felt that he never truly listen to my problem about my scooter. I just had one of those amazing experiences with sexism with this place, that despite being so run of the mill, I just can't even believe it. I called them looking to see if they could just tell me the exact size bolts I need to replace mine that had fallen out of the air filter encasing. The guy on the phone proceeded to tell me that my part was now worthless, asked me how old the scooter was, using its age as leverage to aggressively try to convince me that I needed to come in and have them upgrade the entire air filter system for a mere $75, and when I'm like, "no, the filter system is completely fine, I just need to replace the bolts," he literally yelled at me and said, "women are so hardheaded, and you just need to listen to me." This dude not only wouldn't answer my question and tried to scam me because he thought I'd blindly follow his sales pitch, but also gaslit me and projected his women issues on me. Hilarious. Unfuckingbelievable. But also so typical. Ladies especially, steer clear of this place. read more

Do not make purchases from this shop. The bikes are advertised as brand new but many of them are refurbished and sold at new prices. I have had to take my scooter back twice for the same issue of not moving once started within the single month I have owned it. Shop elsewhere unless you were in the market for spare parts at an over-exaggerated price. read more

WARNING!!! Do not purchase anything from this company! What I purchased was suppose to be a brand new Apollo 125cc Dirt Bike. I paid full price. I brought it home, started and wasn't running correctly. I took it back to the shop, where the owner told me to leave it with him so he can fix it. After a few weeks of "being fixed" I went to get my bike back, that was never fixed. It did the same thing as the first time. Took it back again, and was told by the owner, he wasn't capable of fixing the bike, that was suppose to be new. I asked for my money back, or a new bike that was running, or fix it, and he turned me away, so I'm stuck with a broken bike that I never even rod, and out of $900+ dollars!! THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST SCOOTER REPAIR SHOP I HAVE DEALT WITH. I tried to give the guy an opportunity to redeem himself from his previous ill dealings with me over a year ago. First, the owner (or whatever position he hold) Gus makes up prices as he goes.He gave me one price for services and then quoted another. Secondly, I purchased a part from him for $20 and a few days later he said it was $40. My current experience with him is a real show of bad business. On Wednesday (10-19-2016), I took my scooter in for a repair (re-thread of cylinder head for spark plug). I paid in advanced and was assured it would be ready no later than Friday (10-21-2016). When I called on Friday, at 5:15 pm, I was told they had not even begin working on my bike. When I arrived at 6:30 pm, they had started working on it. Then at 7:57 pm, I got a call asking me if the bike had a previous oil leak. This bike sat in their shop for three (3) days without an oil spot. Additionally, the mechanic would have said something about there being an oil leak when he opened the bike. I am picking my bike up from him tomorrow and will never do business with this shop. It would have cost me a little more to go to REDLINE MOTORSPORT, but they would have gotten my bike repaired by now and I would not have been asked if there was a problem that was not existing before it was brought into their shop. IN SUM, RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND AVOID TAKING YOUR SCOOTER/BIKE TO SCOOTER SOLUTIONS and CYCLES!!!!! I AM WRITING A FOLLOW-UP TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW AFTER HAVING MY BIKE REPAIRED BY SCOOTER SOLUTIONS AND CHECKED OUT ELSEWHERE : After riding my bike a couple of days things just did not feel right, so I had it looked at. I must say they really did a number to my bike to the point where I had to pay another shop to correct some issues. First, the oil was jet black. Mind you the Manager/Owner (Gus) of Scooter Solution called me to ask if there was an oil leak on my bike. Two days before it went into his shop the oil was changed. After getting it back from them I had to get the oil changed again. There was also the smell of exhaust fumes coming from the bike as I rode it. The ring from my exhaust pipe was not put back in. Secondly, almost all of my nuts and bolts were changed on my bike. There was no reason for them to replace these things, but they did so. The nut that connect the muffler to the engine is a long one designed for that purpose and they replaced them with regular nuts. Lastly, I want to point out that I normally don't write a review about a company, but the service I received here should to be expressed so you can be informed before you go there.
