We were in Ocean City, MD for a golf outing. I am not really into the bar scene anymore (must be my old bones), however Seacrets was a pleasant surprise. The drinks were reasonably priced (when compared to NY), and the crowd was relatively diverse (when compared to my expectations for MD). The place is huge and it is easy to get lost in by the water and in-bay bar (check this out), but try to make your way to the "night-club"...it is not quite a club, but the cover band has skills and you will be happy you found this gem on your night out. read more

My friend and I went to this establishment for a concert recently. Once we arrived there was no direction to where to go. It's as if the staff assumed we had been there before and knew what we were doing. This place must be hell on earth to work at because that's the vibe we got from the staff. Absolutely no Hospitality at all. The staff were mute and rude. The concert was delayed and no one was notified and I got more information from the other patrons. It was disorganized completely by the concert staff. The bartenders were probably the only good part of my experience there. We decided to get something to eat during the concert at the restaurant side. We waited a ridiculous amount of time to be greeted by any other servers which is funny because we were pretty much the only ones dining and all of the servers were just socializing with each other. When we did finally get a server we ordered our food and it took yet again another ridiculous amount of time to get our food we ended up getting up and leaving because we thought they had forgotten about us. Plus also we didn't want to miss out on an hour of our concert because of an appetizer. We went back to their concert finished it out and as we were leaving we were confronted by what it seemed like a manager telling us that we had to pay for our food. They had boxed our food to go which we never asked for because we never even received our food at the table. I didn't want to pay for food that I didn't get to sit down and eat and got horrible service let alone the food came to me as I was leaving and was completely cold. The manager was so rude to us and went as far as trying to get a police officer to force me into paying for the food. This lady who is blonde that worked the night of June 3rd 2018 should be fired and never work in a restaurant business and it's starting to make sense why everybody else is so miserable there. And no I did not eat the food they were nachos and they were disgusting and cold. There was absolutely no apologies for how long we had to wait for or even a discount on paying for cold food. I will never come back to this establishment ever again and if anybody ever asks me about it I will highly recommend that they don't attend. I'm sure this place would be a good time during the day for drinking. NOT a great place for dinner with family. Came here with my family and got seated relatively quickly. Food is very mediocre and not worth the price. Burger was overdone, and other food items were all slightly off of what we originally asked for. After dinner, went over to take a quick picture in front of the sunset before leaving but was kicked out quickly for having minors with us. Rules are way to strict on where minors can roam around. Really? Not letting kids by the water with family is quite a ridiculous rule even when we made it clear we wanted a quick family picture. My friend and I wanted to try this place out for dinner in hopes of seeing how great this place was that everyone described. We arrive at the hostess stand and state a party of 2, we requested somewhere with shade since the sun was setting. The hostesses were very accommodating and brought us to a section but the table was right in the sun. We requested the table in the same section (which wasn't cleaned off) in which the hostess said she would clean it for us to sit. The hostess took a rag and used the water dripping from the cabana bar next to us to "clean" the table. She barely cleaned it as there was food on the right side of the table and food around the salt and pepper. She didn't clean the seats in which we just used the 1 menu to clean them off since we were ready to sit and eat. The waitress noticed the "1 menu" and brought us an additional one. We ordered drinks, at first they were good but as we were both drinking we noticed a ring of sand at the bottom. We asked for new drinks in which the waitress was very accommodating, even took the drinks off the bill. The new drinks came and still had sand in it, at this point; whatever. Our food came (quality over quantity for sure). No complaints on the food. During dinner my friend and I got a picture, in which I unfortunately forgot when we left. We ubered to the boardwalk when I noticed. When we were finished there we took an Uber back and went in to try and find our photo. Before going back, I did make a call in which I was transferred to "lost and found". They simply stated "if no one brought it in, we just don't have it yet, so we cannot hep until that happens". Oh, okay. When we get back, we had stamps in which we had to wait in a long line for newcomers to pay and get stamped. Defeats the purpose of the stamp. We finally get in and go straight to the hostess stand, they advised us to go to the gift shop, in which we did. The gift shop had a bin of other photos but unfortunately not ours. She directed us to the white canopy where the photos were printed. We waited patiently as this male coworker was bent over talking to the female worker. They both looked at my friend and I as if we were out of place. 2 minutes later the male coworker simply stated "can we help you" with the biggest attitude. We explained our situation and after being told to come there from the gift shop he stated to go "back to the gift shop". My friend walked away frustrated in hopes of just finding the waitress. I said we weren't going to go BACK there after they told us to come here. I stated I'll go back to the hostess stand to ask for our server, in which the hostesses said they could do if the gift shop couldn't help us. As I went back to the hostess stand, they called over a manager. At first she was very nice and listening to what I had to say. I began to explain our frustration and the lack of process there was for situations like this. She refuted my statement and said that they do have a process in which I explained should be if a server/busser finds a lost item bring it straight to lost and found immediately, in which she agreed to this. As this conversation stalled my friend came back with the photo and I said back to the waitress that is the lack of process you have since we just obtained that photo FROM the server. We immediately left and were very frustrated because we wanted to love this place. I have no complaints about our waitress during our dinner, our food, and the photographer (she was very nice and definitely brought the mood up during dinner). We understand sections get busy and the time can slip through your hands, as I was a server for almost 6 years. But the photo should have been given to another coworker or manager to bring straight to lost and found. We were shocked by the lack of care almost all of these staff members had. First time at Seacrets and it definitely won't be my last! I felt like I was in a tropical location as soon as I entered. I went on a Saturday morning/afternoon and there was a $5 cover (this also included entry to the bar at night). Seacrets opens at 10am and it is imperative you arrive early in order to snag a table/float in the water. By the time we arrived at 10:30am, all of the tables and floats were taken. Note: if you plan to go in the water, definitely wear flip flops you don't care about losing. Also, I would recommend investing in a waterproof cell phone case. Drinks are cheap (and strong) - frozen drinks are $8. There is small food stand that sells pizza, soft pretzels, and other snacks. All of the food is reasonably priced. Overall, I would definitely recommend Seacrets if you're in the area. read more

Our meal was terrible. My daughter ordered a burger, medium well and it was burnt. You could tell by the cheese that it had been sitting under the warming lights for awhile. She said the burger itself had no flavor. I ordered the seafood quesadilla, it too had sat under the warming lights. The tortilla was burnt and the filling tasted fishy, like bad seafood. They did comp us both of our meals and our waitress was fantastic. The place has a great atmosphere but I'll never go back for food. read more

I'm going to write this review from a different perspective from most. We utilized Seacrets to host a company event for us and they did an outstanding job. They roped off an outside bar specifically for our party of about 70 folks. The catered food was outstanding. They served it buffet style and kept it hot and stocked the whole time. It was variety of seafood items plus their jerk chicken special. The service at the bar was on the spot as well. The price was very reasonable considering we hosted this during prime late afternoon/early evening hours on a beautiful Saturday weatherwise. I would not think twice to contact Seacrets again for a pre-planned event such was the one we had. read more

Seacrets is as good as a bar can get. They have decent drink specials, like $2.50 draft beers on Sundays. I had a "pain in de ass", a frozen drink that is part rum runner and part pina coolada...$6.25. Their food is expensive, but it's also delicious! It's pretty much all outdoors, with sand underfoot. My husband and I came to Seacrets after everyone told us a trip to OCMD isn't complete until you stop here. They were right!!! I got a few margaritas that were $7 each and they were delicious and strong. My husband got a few Long Island iced teas that were $7-8 and were also really good. We also picked on an order of Jamaican fries that fresh and seasoned perfectly. Bartenders were awesome and the atmosphere was fun! There was a live band and a nice crowd. It wasn't a rowdy college crowd, just people looking to have a good time without being obnoxious. We'll definitely make it a point to visit every time we're here now! read more

This place is amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect really but all of the reviews were spot on! The food is pretty good, and there is so much to do there! The line to get in was long but it moved quickly and once you were in- u were in. There were pretty much bars everywhere so it was pretty easy to get a drink. The pain in de ass was my favorite. Just tried to go to this place for drinks and food. We are in a heat wave so myself, my husband and my two boys were turned away after 6 because they were wearing muscle shirts. I have a sleeveless top on and I could have gone in but no one else was allowed to go inside. This is a totally discriminatory policy. I honestly love the place but for some reason, they do not let you in if you use your passport. I honestly don't know what to say to that. I lost my license day before going to OC and when I tried to use my passport, they would not let me in. I don't understand why an official document is not acceptable, is it a Maryland thing?? or Secrets keeping people out who do not have an American passport? The other weird thing was, I had my old expired license and they let me in when I showed them that. So beware of going there with a passport or license thats not from here. We experienced discrimination at this place. We called the place to see if we could come eat with 2 people under the age of 21. They said yes and we arrived and said one of them could not come in with out a biological parent. Not thinking of people that do not have biological parents and she was with her legal guardian. He then proceeded to say she needed to have the papers that state she is her legal guardian. We were a group of 26 and are very disappointed. We docked and got a boat to pick us up from the docking boueys which was pretty cool. Our problem started when we got to the sand beach and the "peace police" started being rude. They said that basically. If you are under 21 you can't do anything except sit in the dining room. You can't go on the beach or In the water, or go anywhere near the bar. We also had to wait 30 minutes to get seated and once we did, they sat us right in the sun. The service was okay but the menu is way overpriced and when we went to take the boat back to our boat, the police started arguing with the boat crew about if I could take my diet coke with me. The police said I needed a lid but when the table behind us asked for one, they said they didn't have any. This place is ridiculous and I will never be coming here again. We get it, you're geared toward an olded audience but at least try and make it more family friendly bc not everyone is single and can just go drink your outrageously priced mixed drinks. read more

Great place good food. BUT BEWARE. Paid our bill with cash then finished up our drinks. We were about to leave and wanted to give the waitress some extra cash for a tip and she said we did not pay our bill yet. After a bit of exchange the manager came over and said, "this happens all the time but your bill has not been paid." Since we were with a large group at a fundraiser we did not want to make a commotion so we went to pay again. When the bill was rang up it came up paid. The moral of the story is 1. The manager is not going to believe you even though she said this happens all the time. [In my many years of eating out this has never happened to me] I guess Secretes can't afford to let a 50.00 tab slip by and give the customer the benefit of the doubt. 2. Your waitress my be pretty but has a short-term memory. 3. Pay with a debit or credit card then you will have a signed receipt. No extra tip was needed after this but we are glad we searched out the waitress or we may have been stopped for not paying our bill in front of our large group of fundraising friends. If I could, I would give Seacrets zero stars!! Let me just say it's a cool space. It's a hip and clean establishment; however the customer service is terrible and had racist undertones. I will give you the short story: one of the waiters (an obviously immature brat) accused me and my friends of skipping out on an unpaid bill. When we explained to him that we were not the culprits and that we didn't even order anything, the waiter said we were lying. We eventually called the manager over and the surveillance video later proved that we were in fact, innocent! The waiter never apologized for his accusatory remarks and the manager gave us the lamest apology I had ever heard! Another favorite and usual eating and "playing" destination for us. Their food is great and consistent. I got hooked on their strawberry salad with seared tuna this visit but their nachos, jerk chicken, sandwiches, entrees, are all amazing. I have never had a bad meal in the many, many years I have been visiting. The drinks are amazing and while we have a son who keeps us from playing, the live music we get to enjoy during the early hours is amazing. We went here July 5. The venue is very nice. The bartender was less than pleasant, not rude just not at all friendly. We ordered the Bahama Sunrise (I think) which is their version of rum punch. Not much punch with the rum. We had to ask for juice. We sat at a table near the bar and ordered jerk chicken tenders which were grilled but they forget the jerk. While we sat a pair of barely 21 year old girls stood at the bar and vomited right there on the ground. None of the staff flinched. To make it worse one grabbed the bar towel for her friend to wipe her mouth then put it back. They covered the vomit with sand and continued to reside there transferring their vomit germs all over the bar. Still no staff intervened. These girls were obviously intoxicated but continued ordering drinks and being served. We decided that we had seen enough. Despite the lovely venue that we would have wanted to visit again it's not worth my health to do so. Utterly disgusted!!! read more

Adult heaven! Just an awesome place to go and have fun and relax. To really experience Seacrets you have to go during the day and get a reft for the bay and have the servers come out to you and get you drinks. The place has well over 20 bars. At night there is a live band outside while inside is the dance club. If neither works for you there is plenty places on the property where you dont have to be around that. The drinks are always good and cold and they have the best specialty pizza...Crab Pie...i believe they call it Crab Toast but its basically a Crab Pizza. Out of this WORLD!!!!!! If you go to Ocean City, MD this is a must stop. Lots of fun. read more

Came here for my besties bachelorette and boy did we have a great time. Honestly the place is beautiful. It really feels like your on an exotic island. They had an amazing reggae band playing and we had fun at the night club. This is the spot to be at if you are in ocean city. I've been here 3 times in the last few years, most recently last August. Not sure why I didn't yelp about this place. There's so much going on here, restaurant (though I haven't eaten here), bar, beach, concert, club, etc. With a group of friends, it's sure to be an awesome time! The drinks are good, and moderately strong, but well-priced! If getting a cab is hard to find, just hop on the bus, which runs pretty late. There's usually a cover ($5) on weekend nights during the summer. read more

I love this place, you Can go during the day,ENJOY THE SUN, JET SKkis ride up, service you right at the water-bartenders, after certain time, cover charge added one dollar as night falls, different clubs & sections open up. The whole place sits by the bay with sand everywhere. Great, all outside,some inside rooms, live band sings reggae, with huge camera, get to go on screen. I had a good time this past Friday night at Seacrets. The place is huge and there's a different vibe in every nook & cranny. The cover band was good and drinks were very reasonably priced (~$7 for a mixed drink). $10 cover was acceptable. This isn't a typical place I'd go to except while on vacation, but for that it was fun. read more
