I had the shrimp and my friend had the sole almondine, very healthy choices. The menu is chockful of items like that, salad and chowder, all good. Tyler is a very good server with a quick wit. Ask for him. He's been our server twice and never fails to serve and entertain. As far as ambience, it's not a foodie place. The meal was appropriate to the environment, just check out this picture. Ordered DoorDash..pretty fast order but threae of us got two orders of seafood gumbo, one large order of calamari. Shrimp and scallop scampi . The quality of the food is EXCEPTIONAL. The gumbo was especially delicious and they did not spare the different types of seafood that they put in their dishes.. the whole order was received piping hot and very obviously FRESH . I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We were in the area and craving seafood so we wanted to try something different than High Tide or Red Lobster. The atmosphere is pretty dead. It's definitely very tired and mainly elderly customers. The service was fine, nothing great. The food was pretty bad. We started with the Crab Cakes and the Coconut Shrimp. Both were deep fried and greasy, nothing great at all. The Clam Chowder was decent. For entrees, I ordered a Fried Shrimp Po' Boy, and the other guests got tilapia and cod. Everyone noted their fish tasted pretty old. My sandwich was pretty subpar. The side dishes such as house salad were pretty measly. The service was rather apologetic hence the 2 stars but I wouldn't come back, this place needs to be updated and to get a new chef. read more

Walked into a southeast beach town decor Not fancy , but clean and appealing. Our server Kim, was friendly and helpful. I had the King Salmon served with typical veggies. And 2 sides a cup of clam chowder and a small Caesar salad. The food, all said was fresh and excellent! My Dad, had a double 8 oz. Lobster. It was a very good experience. Not a great experience. Had fried oysters. They did not taste good. Kind of a fishy aftertaste. Vegetables and baked potato were cold. Oysters were warm but not hot. I will start by saying I love the food here, and the decor. It reminds me of seafood restaurants in the south east, love them. The prices, for the most part, are very reasonable and the food quality on what I have had has been very good. The only reason this is not a 5 star review... My 16 year old son decided he would like the King Crab which is listed as market price. Instead of telling us what that market price is, the waitress just says ok and brings it out. We went out to eat with my dad he recommended this resturant. I unfortunately started feeling ill on the way there and by the time we arrived I felt like death. We get parking right by the door and head in. The server who seated us was so friendly. We get a large booth and settle in. I glance over the menu and preceed to lay my head on the table. The server returns and takes my dad's order he got the trout with a pasta salad side and iced tea and a clam chowder. My hubs got the bread bowl of clam chowder and a coke. I ordered a cup of chowder and cod. For a starter we had steamers and crab stuffed mushrooms. Again I'm laying my head down on the table. I go off to the ladies room and the sever came to the table to inquire if I was feeling OK and if I needed anything. I feel like this was above and beyond your typical server. She was genuinely concerned. She brought our starters and soup. I must say everything thus far was delicious and piping hot. The steamers tasted extremely fresh and the chowder tasted homemade. Our entrees arrived and looked wonderful. Very good portion sizes. No one hesitated to dig right in. Oh my gosh. My cod tasted as if it was caught that morning. My hubs dug right in. The bread bowl was huge and filled to the top. Dad's trout was a big portion . You know it was good eating when no one was really talking due to all the eating. The sever return a few times as was available whenever we needed her. Unfortunately we were so full we were unable to get dessert. I really can not say enough good things about our server. I really wish I could remember her name. She was probably one of the best servers I've had in a very very long time. If your in the area I recommend stopping in and having a very nice meal. I gave him a hard time and he made me sit in the front- were even lol The wait staff was super friendly and everyone who walked by was available to help or answer any question. Location was clean. Beer suggestion was perfect! I ordered a few appetizers, mostly because I couldn't make a single choice. All of them were fresh and so good. Careful, the gumbo can be spicy. We've been going to seafood market for years. The food is consistently well-prepared and and wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Good for families and large groups and also small groups. One of the best meals we have had in the past 9 years here in Arizona. The Owner is welcoming and wonderfully engaging! And the Owner's Grandson blew us away. At 16 years old he has an incredible future ahead of him with his comfort in serving as the scheduler and host. Quite a personable young man. Our waitress was exceptional as well and actually was an absolute kick in the pants. She was attentive and loved to spar with her guests in an appropriately manner. For those you who have been in Mesa since the 90's, you may remember this place from the Fiesta Mall area (Alma School/Southern)...right next to Bobby McGees (had some wild nights there!). This is the same place, same people, they just moved. Absolutely some of the best seafood ever. We ordered calamari and onion ring appetizers. Honestly, I think it was the best calamari I have ever had. Huge serving and lots of tentacles! Most places only serve the tube. You have to try! The onion rings were also great and worth trying. We also ordered crab cakes, coconut shrimp and the catfish. Everything was fabulous. Oh, and you have to try their seafood pasta salad! Prices are reasonable and servings are healthy...we all had a doggy bag. Service was super...Stephan (he also came from the old place) was our server. He was awesome and very attentive. My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant today, and boy must I say we were pleased! We both had the twin lobster tails and they were beyond delicious. We started off with their calamari and crab stuffed mushrooms and both were a hit. Our server who's name was Tyler was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. We got our drinks and upon further review on the menu one thing was clear. I needed to order an appetizer to give me a little more time to settle on the main course. I ordered a bowl of seafood gumbo. The first spoonful was unbelievable. Ok, now I'm considering skipping the main course and just gorging on this delectable gumbo, but decided to order the pasta primavera for the main course. This amazing gumbo has fish, shrimp, scallops, and probably crab. Chunks of okra are mingled among other vegetables all simmered in a savory broth. The fish oils that naturally simmered out gives this dish a smooth feel on the palate. As I was savoring the last drop of the gumbo my main course arrived. The pasta primavera is shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, and a medley of fish, along with a steamed broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and zucchini nestled in a bed of spaghetti pasta swimming in a buttery heavy cream alfredo sauce. I enjoyed as much as I could before feeling stuffed to the point of popping buttons. I want to come back again soon but will no doubt be faced with a dilemma. The sauce with my pasta was not good at all, was only able to eat the shrimp and scallops. Took daughters food home to the dog. Husband's steak and lobster was good according to him.
