I had the shrimp and my friend had the sole almondine, very healthy choices. The menu is chockful of items like that, salad and chowder, all good. Tyler is a very good server with a quick wit. Ask for him. He's been our server twice and never fails to serve and entertain. As far as ambience, it's not a foodie place. The meal was appropriate to the environment, just check out this picture. We will be coming back until they finally fail us, lol, will probably happen here in a few decades.

Ordered DoorDash..pretty fast order but threae of us got two orders of seafood gumbo, one large order of calamari. Shrimp and scallop scampi . The quality of the food is EXCEPTIONAL. The gumbo was especially delicious and they did not spare the different types of seafood that they put in their dishes.. the whole order was received piping hot and very obviously FRESH . I would definitely go back or order again, as would the two friends who enjoyed their dishes. Unfortunatelyi devoured the gumbo so no picture of it .

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We were in the area and craving seafood so we wanted to try something different than High Tide or Red Lobster. The atmosphere is pretty dead. It's definitely very tired and mainly elderly customers. The service was fine, nothing great. The food was pretty bad. We started with the Crab Cakes and the Coconut Shrimp. Both were deep fried and greasy, nothing great at all. The Clam Chowder was decent. For entrees, I ordered a Fried Shrimp Po' Boy, and the other guests got tilapia and cod. Everyone noted their fish tasted pretty old. My sandwich was pretty subpar. The side dishes such as house salad were pretty measly. The service was rather apologetic hence the 2 stars but I wouldn't come back, this place needs to be updated and to get a new chef.

This is a nice little no frills seafood restaurant. Every time I go there I feel like it was such a great value for good seafood. Today was no exception. It's not fancy, but it's consistently good seafood dishes!

Whyyyyyy did I wait so long to check this place out?? Hidden gem for sure! Walk in and met by a teenager, very nice. I gave him a hard time and he made me sit in the front- were even lol The wait staff was super friendly and everyone who walked by was available to help or answer any question. Location was clean. Beer suggestion was perfect! I ordered a few appetizers, mostly because I couldn't make a single choice. All of them were fresh and so good. Careful, the gumbo can be spicy. Ordered the catfish plate. I was absolutely amazed to find that it was so fresh and so very delicious. I've always avoided this place because it's the desert..... how fresh can the fish be?? REALLY FRESH! Lol. I will return as I think I have a new favorite' Oh and they sell uncooked fish as well, there is a great booth just past the front area.

Great service and great food, just as I remembered. It's been 10 years since I've been here, and nothing has changed.

The cakes themselves are big and full of crab with just the right amount of filling to create a decadent and moist cake! We also shared the seared jumbo scallops...High Tides knows how to cook scallops to the best! So yummy and tender and perfectly cooked with that crispy outer and the soft, creamy inside. We also shared a Caesar salad and one of the things we love about this place...ask and you can get some fresh anchovy on the side to add to the salad. Wife always asks for more lemon as well to drizzle over the salad. Overall a fantastic dinner for us and everyone with us!

This location is a much nicer facility and in a better area than the one in Tolleson. The menu is consistent too, which made it easy for us to order our favorites. I hope you get Gigi as your server as she is very pleasant, friendly and checks on you regularly. However, the two (2) greeters at the hostess stand are a different story. It is obvious neither of them like their jobs and just come in to punch a clock. It would be nice if they at least made eye contact with the customers before they have you follow them to the table they have picked out for you. Smile? . . . that's out of the question, too. We determined by the expressions on their faces their parents probably told them since they graduated from high school they aren't going to sit around the house doing nothing all day so this must the the place they applied to.

We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.
