I get it, it's a buffet. I went here yesterday night with my family after finding the restaurant we planned on going to was closed. Walking in it has that Old Bay smell (that's not necessarily a bad thing) and some cute decor including a nice full fish tank! The hostess was kind and helped us get a table. It was clean and my mom loved her crabs and the menu meals (not the buffet, the specific menu items) had awesome proportions. I got the buffet with a coupon we found in one of those MB books for 2.00 dollars off. It was 27.50 for the buffet for me with the discount. The buffet has an awesome selection including a dessert and salad bar. My only issue was unfortunately a big one for me, which was that the food in the buffet was cold. I regretted not ordering menu items. I understand it shouldn't be a big deal but 30 bucks per person for cold food (and I do mean cold) isn't something I cheer on. BUT the staff was super nice and the menu items were all great. All in all, skip the buffet, order the menu, great staff. Not a bad night! We just went to this restaurant early on a Friday afternoon before reading the reviews. I feel like we must have eaten at a different restaurant. The reviews were so bad I just couldn't believe it. The one thing they did get right was how wonderful the staff was. The seafood selection was wonderful and tasty. I am allergic to shellfish so I ate some beef and chicken. The selection here was also very good. There was a large salad bar as well as a large dessert bar. For the people that were complaining about this I am not sure how many different kinds they were looking for. The cost was a little high, but when you think about ordering a burger and fries at a fast food restaurant for around ten dollars I think this was well worth the money. read more

We saw the ad on a local guide book and decided to try the place instead of the other buffet restaurants. At first, we were not impressed with the number of items, as they seem to be less than the other comparative buffet restaurants. But when we tried the food, we were pleasantly surprised how tasty the food was. The crab legs were clean and fresh. Other items were very well-cooked and of good quality. I was presently surprised at how much food they had and everything was great. I love crab legs and there's were so fresh you could hardly even tell they were sitting in water. If you are not a huge seafood person but everyone else in your group is this is a great option in addition to the great seafood crabs crab legs, scallops shrimp fish etc. they had steaks baked potato pasta chicken and some other great items, we also had my 2 year old newphew and 4 year old niece they were super helpful and didn't mind the noise they made our waitress always had our drinks full and she was super sweet. We were welcome by Patricia with a smile and she made us feel at home. Our waitress was very nice and Dasha gets an A+ for her customer service. She explained the buffet or menu choices and got us some warm hush puppies immediately. We selected the buffet and we ate so much. Everything was delicious, the crab legs, shrimp like 10 different styles, salmon, fish, oysters, and the calamari. Dasha checked on us several times and got us more drinks and cleaned the table. On vacation for a week and wanted to try out a local place since everything was booked all night. My 10 friends and I placed a reservation because we were a big party and wanted to give notice. Upon arrival we were told the reservation did not do through even though we had a confirmation email. The waitress told us that the buffet was $39.99 a person. That price did not include drinks and we were not told that for larger parties, they automatically take a 15% tip. None of us were informed of this, and not to mention we didn't even get to sit together. We split into two different groups so I didn't understand how that rule applied. When questioned, the staff said that they can't do anything about it and tried to say that we were informed of this rule upon arrival. I would have no problem with included tips, if the service was good. Our waiter stopped at our table twice, and we had to continuously ask for things such as napkins and utensils. The food was stale and old. Not one of us left without paying over $50. Tax and tip were an added $12. I waited over 20 minutes for my check. TERRIBLE read more

Took my family of 5 there, with 3 small children who don't eat all too much, $17.99 was not a price I was willing to pay to have them eat a few popcorn shrimp and French fries off the buffet. Asked the waitress for a children's menu, and was promptly told that they don't have any children's menus. Told her thanks, but we'll just go elsewhere, and guess what? They all of a sudden had a children's menu all printed out and laminated just for us(how nice). Buffet was mediocre at best, they kept it stocked surprisingly but to our dismay, it was well stocked with fish that was of Applebee's or Chili's quality. The only saving grace of the buffet is the crab legs, basically just eat those if you want your money's worth, because you sure wont get it picking other items off the buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and upkeep of this restaurant. I have often been disappointed by seafood buffets in resort towns but the food here was excellent and our server was attentive and friendly. There was no waiting for food to be put out and there was a pretty good variety of seafood and seafood alternatives! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the attitudes of many staff members. I inquired as to where the cocktail sauce was and one lady (who happened to be talking to another employee as most of the staff seemed to be doing) and she pointed vaguely. I didn't see any cocktail sauce and approached her again and she pointed again in frustration! I ended up asking another young man who didn't understand me and luckily another customer lead the way. Most likely the WORST seafood I've very had. The service was ok. The waitress wasn't to blame for the experience at all. The food was cold. The crab legs, about 90% that I cracked had nothing at all in them. Then found a hair in my shrimp. It wasn't from being on a buffet. It was COOKED into it. I asked to talk to a manager. She then said I'll get you 20% off. no ma'am. We were done eating- well attempting to at that point. But this buffet is nowhere near comparable to the other three or four seafood buffets I've been to in MB. About $30 per person even with the coupon and the selection was pitiful. The fish was OK.
