Came here on Friday for Happy Hour with a couple of friends for the very first time. What brought us here were the unique appetizers that PT's and Sierra Gold don't have on their menu. The items that caught my eye were the drunken skins, sean patrick's chips, and jameson whiskey wings. Then I saw some of the meals and told myself I needed to make several trips and eat everything!! Paddy's hoagie, shepherd's pie, corned beef & cabbage, bangers & champ, steak & guiness pie, monaghan's meatloaf, and the fish & chips. One day, I will eventually make my way through all of those meals. On this occasion, however, we opted for the drunken skins and jameson whiskey wings. The skins were amazeballs!! The guiness braised corned beef was super tasty. Some of the best tasting skins I've ever had. I typically don't like Jameson, who am I kidding, I hate Jameson. But I thought I owed it to myself to try these wings. Do i regret my decision? Not one bit. Wings came out nice and crispy coated in the Jameson whiskey sauce. The sauce was sllightly sweet and tangy. You definitely got that kick of Jameson as well. I enjoyed the wings. With our food, we washed them down with some of PT's very own brews. The beer that made the most sense to me was Sean Patrick's Irish Red. I enjoyed the beer, this is my new go-to PT's brew. As for the bar itself, I'd call it a small bar. You have the main bar with your standard video poker machines and a few tables that were along the walls in and around the bar area. There is a shuffle board table and pool table. The pool table is tucked in a nook, which almost feels like a private room with a ton of cool looking "throne" type chairs. I told the male bartender on St. Patrick's Day at the bar that the Long Island Iced Tea should be nothing but alcohol and all I tasted was sweet and sour. He took the drink, walked away, threw it down the drain in the sink and I never saw him again!!! Needless to say, we were charged for it and my BF just said "don't worry about, we'll just NEVER come here again!" I understand it's an extremely busy day . . This place used to be amazing. I have been going here with my wife for 5 years and we loved the atmosphere and service and even prior to Golden Entertainment owning this place my wife has gone here before me and absolutley loved this place. As time went on the service went south and the food went further south. We waited for our order for 15 minutes which was only pot stickers and drunken potatoe skins, we only got the pot stickers. Ask the waitress after we ordered our second order of pot stickers amd recieced them where is our drunken potato skins only to get them about 20 minutes after that. The bartender had just came in to cover the next shift was at the other side of the bar doing shots with her friend and here we sat thirsty. Honestly I own my own restaurant and hate to leave bad reviews because I know reviews can either help or hurt your place but this was a let down. Would love to know who actually manages the place because it appears there is no supervision which obviously is needed desperately. read more

Went here while i was waiting for my number to be called at the DMV across the street. Never was called by the way. It was around 10 am or so. I ordered a basic sausage egg and hash brown platter. It was amazing. So rich and buttery. The eggs, over easy complimented the sausage so well! Our bartender, Lauren, was really nice. She wasn't there to greet us but when she finally came out she was nice. Only thing is I am used to my drinks being compted because i do gamble, too much maybe lol, but she didn't warn me my drinks couldn't be compted. Insted gave me a bill for 45 dollars which should've been a 10 dollar check. I didn't mind paying but a heads up would've been really nice. At the end of it all she apologized for not letting me know and i enjoyed the food and service very much! Do try the breakfast its truly amazing! read more

Very strange experience. We came here the other night to grab a quick bite and play some video poker. We walked in and there were a few people around the bar, not too busy. We ordered wings and had drinks. There was a fruit fly in my drink so I had to have the bartender remake it. My friend has extensive knowledge of beers and was asking about what kinds of porters and different things they had and the bartender didn't have good knowledge of beer at all. As we were there for a bit we noticed the people around the bar were definitely regulars. There was one lady who clearly knew the bartender who was having an argument with him. Then there were 2 guys who came inside who we noticed were sitting in their car with their lights off, at the time we arrived, which was probably an hour before they came inside. It could have been a coincidence but they had words with the bartender and they went to the bathroom and then so did he. Definitely seemed sketchy so say the least. I'll definitely stick to my PTs and Sierra gold. This experience definitely left us unsettled. read more

Big blonde bartender took my official United States Passport and tried to keep it and kick me out the bar, I even showed a credit card that matched the same name on the passport & yet she still tried to keep the passport and told us to leave. Eh. I decided to come here one evening with my wife and brother as we were hungry, wanted to try something new, and didn't want to venture far from the house. I pass this place regularly, so we decided on this place. The place is pretty large on the inside. A pretty large bar on one side, and then the dining area on the other. There also seemed to be two areas that could serve as private dining areas for parties. We happened to be the only diners (there were folks at the bar) when we went in. We were going to sit at the bar, but my wife forgot her ID, so we had to move to the dining area. I thought the decor was pretty decent. I've never been to Ireland, so I can't say what an actual Irish Pub looks like, but it had "Irish" items around. It was more open than other Irish Pubs I've been to. I did like the beer selection. Quite a few Irish beers, as well as others from the UK. The only domestics were the mass produced and the psuedo-craft Blue Moon. I had a Carlsberg for $4.50 which wasn't too bad. There was not the selection of "Irish" food that I was expecting, more "inspired" dishes. I had the nachos, my wife had the fettuccine Alfredo, and my brother had dessert. My nachos were ok, pretty standard. They use real cheese, so that is a bonus. My wife's dinner was a massive portion, but wasn't too flavorful. My brother enjoyed his pie. I probably wouldn't come back just to eat, but I would to drink, or to have a private party. read more

What do you expect differently from a PT's owned pub? Not much, right? They all have pool, a mediocre selection of draft beer, a bar, lounging area, happy hour for pizza & drinks, food specials, smoking, video poker, shuffleboard, music, parties of one, & the same food menu. What I enjoy about this specific Sean Patrick's is that it is super clean & home-y. It's comfy & doesnt feel so grimey or secondhand smokey (haha-yyy). It is just missing the jukebox. Anyone can slap a little paint and flair into a restaurant and say its not fake. I cannot say for sure if this place uses original dcor or if its fake...either way it looks really nice on the inside. I did enjoy the ambiance and my companion helped make my dinner enjoyable. But in reviewing of this restaurant I can only give it two stars. If the food is crap, dressing everything up around it will not improve the taste. The food was bland and I could not find anything special here. A friend at another table came up after his dinner and was unimpressed with his food as well. The location is about six to eight miles out from the strip on Flamingo...unless you live close by it is a bit of a drive. I would recommend McMullan's instead of Sean Patrick's. Closer to the strip, live music, and more inspiring food make this a simple decision. read more

Not Irish at all. Not sure why people think if you slap a four-leaf clover on a bar it magically makes it an Irish Pub. It's simply a bar with food. The bartender was nice but slow. She even admitted that she knows how to pour a Guinness she just doesn't do it for the time factor. Food was okay, something I could've made (I'm a terrible cook). Atmosphere was too dim. Not entirely sure what everyone's gripe is about this place not being a "true" Irish bar... I looked everywhere, high and low, and nowhere inside of Sean Patrick's did I see any direct wording that it is an Irish Bar. Yes, they have an Irish theme... but they don't exactly seem to advertise being an Irish bar. With that being said, Sean Patrick's is simply another neighborhood bar. It seems kind of dated to me, but it serves its purpose. The bar staff is always friendly, in my experience. When I want to talk, they're there to offer up friendly conversation... when I don't, they leave me alone. I've never seen this place slammed so it's always easy to order a drink or two. There is also a pool table and (I believe) darts... standard bar things. We've ordered food here and... well... I don't think that I'll set out to go to Sean Patrick's for a meal. The food is ok, but nothing to go out of your way over. The chicken tender basket that is on the happy hour, they are little nuggets. They look and taste like a knock off version of McDonald's nuggets. The chicken Caesar wrap that I ordered wasn't bad at all, probably the best thing I've had from there so far. The pizza is ok, but extraordinarily crispy... the bottom is way too tough for my taste. We gave their pizza two shots to be sure that we didn't like it, for the record. I wouldn't go out of your way to watch a game here unless you like to watch your football games with only the sound of light chatter and dated alternative rock. I like to hear what's going on personally. BUT they do have PLENTY of TVs playing most, if not all, of the games should you wish to enjoy some sports here. read more

I love Sean Patrick's. I've been there three times in the past two weeks and every time was wonderful. We got there after 7pm both nights and it was pretty much empty. We got great service. The waitress was fast to greet us, get us our drinks and take our orders. I ordered a blue moon, another person got a Captain and coke and another in our party asked for a Baileys & brandy, which the waitress had never heard of, but just asked what it was and had it made (the drink is fabulous, btw). We ordered dinner and everything I have had (mozzarella sticks, burger & fries, chicken caesar salad and chicken-mashed potatoes dish I don't remember the name of) was fantastic. Everyone else really enjoyed their dinner as well. The place is kind of smokey since the bar and the restaurant area aren't really separated, but it's okay if you don't really mind a light smokey smell. They have video poker at the bar. The ambiance is kind of ADD, without a really clear decor theme, but the music is soft in the background so you aren't shouting to talk to the people you're with. It's perfect for post-work meal/drinks with colleagues. If you like a drink with dinner and aren't too picky about your beer selections, want a big, filling meal, or want a great breakfast any time of day, this is a solid choice. read more

One would think...what a better place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than at a pseudo Irish pub! My wife and I arrived at 3:30 PM. The sign by the door said "seat yourself". We started through the dining room, spotting a nice table for two, when the 'hostess' appeared "Oh no I have to seat you". She proceeded to seat us at a booth which could have easily accommodated 7 people. Wound up at a smaller table. The waiter (?) shows up for our drink order, wife orders a coke and I (having a splurge moment) order a Black & Tan. Coke arrived, no beer. 10 minutes later the beer shows up, in a very small PLASTIC CUP! Should have said something then but thought it was a special for the day. Tacky none the less. Order our food; soup for the wife and shepherds pie for myself which came with a salad. We chit-chat enjoying the sparse population of the dining room wearing green and having some fun. The decor of the place was very nice, but as I was once told, "You can't eat the curtains." I was just waiting for the salad as it is traditionally served before the meal. Food arrives, wife's soup looks good and is hot, no salad. My dinner is served a minute or two later, no salad. "Coming right up" he says. Mind you, the dining room and bar are not the least bit crowded. I was about 1/3 the way through my shepherds pie (good by the way) here comes the wilted salad. The waiter never came back, never. My wife was so irritated she went outside. A waitress came by to ask if I was 'finished' with my meal I said yes and asked her about the plastic cup. She said it was because it was St. Patrick's day, and I asked if that was a new Irish tradition as I am Irish and just wanted to keep up with the old country... Blank stare....no smile no nothing. No check. "I'll send him right over". Five minutes no waiter. I went to the hostess station where a guy and girl were franticly wiping off the grease marks from the seating chart totally ignoring the few people that did come in. She seated one party and left a woman standing at the door who happened to come by to pick up a to-go order. A waitress spots her and asks if she has been helped. I guess she was the back-up hostess when the others are busy with their grease pencils. Still no check, same waitress comes by same question...I explain. Guess what? While I'm waiting by the front door, the waiter shows up with the check. I look it over. $6.00 for a small plastic cup of Black & Tan. No need complaining as it was St. Patrick's day and we were in a pseudo Irish pub with pseudo service, pseudo salad...you catch my drift right? And by the way.....there was no green left on the table. read more

I'm writing this review on one specific menu item featured @ Sean Patricks: the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It is easily the best I've ever had anywhere! I live right across the street from this place, but had only gone there a couple of times for dinner in the last 5 years or so, it always seemed to be empty & dead. A few weeks ago I was coming home from work and I realized that I didn't really have anything to fix for dinner, so I decided to check out their happy hour. Wow, am I glad that I stopped in. First of all the happy hour is from 5pm-7pm daily. They offer half priced drinks & pizzas. So I looked at the menu, and went with the BBQ Chicken. It's a 16-inch thin crust pie with a thin layer of cheese, pieces of white-meat chicken, caramelized onions, a little cilantro, and the slightly sweet, tangy BBQ sauce is generously drizzled on the top. I love a thin, crispy crust, and this pizza is by far my favorite. During happy hour it's only $8.99, but I'd say it's worth the full price of $17.99. As far as the rest of the place goes, since it's been under the PT's ownership, it's a lot livelier than before. They've got lots of TVs with sports usually being shown, and decent music (mostly classic rock) played throughout. It seems like everyone at the bar smokes, however if you're not a smoker, the ventilation is good enough that it's not much of an issue. If they had my favorite poker game (Big Split Poker) @ the bar, I'd go there a lot more frequently. But until then, I'll go back for the pizza every month or so. read more

Ok, so I've never been to Ireland, but I think this place is authentic because they have a lot of items, including a door, that are from Ireland. So if you eat or drink here you can look at old timey photos of Irish people and farm equipment. I love that. I've been here a few times. Their nachos used to be really good. So good that it's the only food I order from their menu. But since PT's took over of the ownership, the nachos stopped being so awesome. My brother picked me up some nachos from them one day and the meat, instead of ground beef, were cut up burger patties. They honestly look so disgusting. They look like left overs on top of tortilla chips. On the other hand, my mom always buy their chicken wings. They are pretty good. I think they're about $10 for 8 wings and some well-seasoned fries. This place was soo amazing! Has a good Irish vibe to it in a decent neighborhood. I had their brat in pretzel bread with caramelized onions with a topping of really good mustard on top. I love this bar. The staff is amazing and very friendly. When you walk in they always say hello to you and make you feel welcomed and always ask if you want a menu to order food. Which is amazing as well. They have a patio there which is awesome to sit outside and eat on a gorgeous spring day. I normally get fish and chips and spinach artichoke dip ( comes in a bread bowl). So amazingly good you won't be disappointed at all. So if you are looking for a bar that makes you feel like home go here and eat and watch the games and on there TVs. After being turned away from TWO reserved bars, we finally landed at Sean Patricks Pub! Pretty basic layout with some awesome old school rooms and a pool table. The atmosphere was pretty typical, you have the odd couple that just met drinking their way to the bedroom, the silent gambler that presses the "deal/draw: button while slamming a beer, and the general tomfoolery that goes on. It wasn't too loud, and we appreciated that there were no belligerent drunks yelling and flailing around. Food was alright. Greasy bar food washed down with pitchers of Newcastle kept me satisfied while getting my ass kicked in pool! Nachos were okay, I would have appreciated seasoned ground beef instead of old beef fajita strips, but the garlic parmesean fries were amazing in their oily crispy goodness! Our server was pretty cool. Laid back blonde lady that made sure we had everything we needed. If we are in the area again needing some late night shenanigans, we will probably stop here! read more
