Noe, the service tech, was efficient, competent, and courteous. He had the washer fixed and running in about an hour. The only problem I have with Sears appliance warrantees is that I had to wait 2 weeks for a tech to come to the house. After the problem with the washer was diagnosed, the tech said he didn't have the part, so I had to wait another week for a part and another appointment for the tech to install it. It would be nice if the service techs carried a good inventory of parts in their trucks. Hadn't been to a laundromat in 15 years until now. That was in interesting adventure. read more

rating tech service today was a 4/5. But Sears service sucks, I got cancelled twice on minute. My appointment today was rescheduled and confirmed since last Thursday for this morning between 8-12, then BOOM!! this morning at 10, I receive a text that my appt was rescheduled for the afternoon between 1-5pm. It took SEARS two weeks to get my refrigerator fix when they promised one week to order the Parts which was placed on Feb. 27, and for the tech to come back to fix it on March 6, it got pushed all the way to March 11, between 8-12 and like I said this morning it got rescheduled to the afternoon 1-5. I would give zero (0) stars is allowed but this site made me put one (1) to leave a review. The 1st technician came out and diagnosed the problem. A leak from the Evaporator coil. I had the system charged with a refrigerant with leak additive. Since this is a Home warranty claim, there was lack of communication between sears and the Home Warranty company, with each blaming the other. When the sears technician arrived he had no replacement parts and didn't know what he was fixing. He said the system is working fine now and to call to have the repair fixed when it's not working again. So in the meantime, the Freon is slowly leaking out and I'll end up not having a working A/C unit on a hot day. Then I'll have to start the Home Warranty service process and service fee again. Our first tech came out 12 days ago and said that we needed a thermostat. We suffered 12 days in 103-105 heat with fans and an old portable swamp cooler. The second tech came today. He immediately told us the thermostat was not the problem. After about 20 min and a phone call to the warranty company he had rewired the thermostat and the air was on. He tested several vents for output and left. The first technician appeared to be a bit overwhelmed. Today's technician was great!! My 5 star rating is for today. I only wish this could have been done days ago because the parts were here. read more

Impossible to communicate with unless you are a chat bot. Original technicIan diagnosed and ordered part then the fun began. We were also needing a home warranty that they gladly signed us up for and assigned a return appointment. Then they changed the appointment multiple times until we were no longer living in the home where the appliance was. No way to correspond. Confirmed a new appoint so many times that I finally have got to cancel the whole thing and will see about reversing any charges to this point for no service. read more

if I could choose no stars I would. this little guy shows up to supposedly to "diagnose" our dryer, he was "supposedly" a sears technician, never pulled a single tool, stood there and told us that it was the circuit board inside the control panel, and it was not being made or available any more, basically discontinued. I thought that was a bunch of BS, so I started researching it, and discovered he really was full of BS!! Today, I found a parts house, that has it in stock and found out it is still being manufactured!!! This "sears technician" just caused us to go buy a brand new dryer from Lowe's for $600.00 on Saturday night, today is january 28th. The water pump went bad, Technical should of know that water might of spill when replacing it. Technical put a small blue Towel before he started ,took a picture to prove that he put it but then he removed the towel. This cause water to spill all over the floor. read more

He broke the frame around the microwave. Told me to put silicone under it to hold it in place and then left. Seriously, you don't break something and just walk away. The repair guy shows up and said We don't work on Built-In refrigerators. The last 2 guys from the same company that came out 2 weeks ago worked on it to diagnose the issue, order parts and come back to install them. They didn't have any working on it. Noe completed a previously started washer repair that was not completed because parts needed to be ordered. One needed part was not ordered but he was able to find it locally and picked it up in order to complete the repair and give us back the use of our washer. Worse service ever!!! Called on a Monday requesting repair on my Bosch Dishwasher. Was told yes they repair Bosch, but the earliest date available was Friday, 1/4/19 in the morning between 8 and noon On Friday at noon, no one had shown up or called, so I called. Was told tech delayed, he would call me " right away" .... 2 & 1/2 hours later got a call from repair tech and was told they don't work on Bosch!!!! I called Sears and was told, yes they do work on Bosch, apologized and rescheduled me for Tuesday, 1/8, from noon to 4:00. At 12:15 pm on 1/8, I received a text stating my appointment was canceled,,,, no reason stated... soooo, I called Sears again and was told a local dispatcher would call me. Well to start, my first appointment was scheduled for a Saturday 2/24 from 1-5 and the technician no showed. Later I got a text at 5:15pm from Sears that my appointment had been rescheduled! I had to reschedule to the following weekend and then the technician came and did some troubleshooting, but was not able to fix the dishwasher and had to order a part. As soon as the part arrives I scheduled a follow up visit for 3/9 between 1-5pm, but the technician showed up at 11am with only sending an automated text beforehand that the technician was on his way. I was not home as my appointment was not until 1pm at the earliest. He got there and I spoke to him through the Ring doorbell and reminded him of my appointment timeframe to which he responded that he had a few cancellations that morning so he was early. I asked him to come back between 1-5pm and told him that I wasn't home (I was having my oil changed) and he responded like he was annoyed and then said "ummm.. I'll try to call you at 1pm to see if I can" and at this point I just figured he wasn't coming back. About 30 min later, I got a receipt that my dishwasher part had been installed and a text asking to rate my technician. At this point, I paid the $75 fee and have waited over a month now using my home warranty to get this dishwasher fixed and I am truly disappointed. Not to mention that the tech who came inside my home had muddy shoes and walked on my rug! I was going to overlook that, but clearly it needs to also be stated. read more

Worst service ever. The tech Albert showed up to diagnose our Kenmore Elite stove for an issue. He did not even plug the stove in to see what the issue was and told us it was an electrical issue. Of course he still charged my wife the $99. I called Sears customer service and they said the $99 was just for him to show up to the door. I asked if they expected the techs to actually diagnose. I had my refrigerator serviced in March. They recommended that I change my water filter. I ordered the water filter directly from the technician and after 4 months it never came....I called to check the status of my order. They said the water filter was on back order. I asked for a refund. I was transferred to another rep. After 40 minutes, the new rep said he could not find my work order, even though the first rep I talked to found my order right away. All I want is my $50 back for the part I never received. So unfair! read more

I am very disappointed with Sears appliance repair. My washer stopped working February 2, at that time I made an appointment for service but they couldn't get to me till February 13. No one showed up, no one texted me with updates. The only people you can talk to are in the Philippines. I was on hold for 1hr and 40min, when they finally answer they can't help because they are powerless. We are done with Sears service! Took a month to get a belt put on our dryer and t bey never completed the repair. We had to call a local company to finish the job. Here is update about sears repair I had for 7 weeks. I wait 7 weeks and three repairs guys to have him break the washer door. The washer door will not shut and lock now which will not operate. I was told from Sears to call warranty place which I did and schedule an appointment which I do. I scheduled for Feb 2 ,2019 between 10 and 2 pm. I called Sears for update to see where the service guy is and they tell me they don't have a service guy on Saturday and call my warranty company to reschedule. What a business!!!! I have never had such bad service in my life and wait 7 week and still have broken appliance. Do not do business with this unorganized business. Let them go out of business!! I sent a email to the address you asked with my name, address and what is going on with the repair. I have repair guy cancel on Saturday and I hope he shows today. I bet he cancels!!!! read more
