One of my new favorite places to study in Sac! It is kind of hidden in the performing arts center, look for a bright teal door then turn right or follow the coffee smell! The cafe itself is very cozy and has a good amount of tables for studying. I went earlier in the day on a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded. The workers are very amiable local Sacramento people that are super kind. I had their chai latte and it was pretty good! I've liked this spot before, but unfortunately had a bad experience. I've noticed the service has been declining for 2 years now too. I got the usual, and the avocado toast was served on moldy bread (I didn't notice until I took a bite and puked) I brought it back, and while one employee apologized, the other just refunded me with no comment. Disappointing experience ,hoping it was a one-off, but I wanted to share in case it helps them prevent this in the future. I won't go back for a while or recommend this spot anymore. I love the ambiance in this little coffee shop. Plenty of outlets and the coffee is great. I ordered a caramel ice latte and it was the perfect balance of the espresso and sweet. This is one hidden gem that me and my husband wanted to visit for a while and finally get to, and it didn't disappoint. You wouldn't think it would be where it is but you'll see the sign outside the main building and direct you where you need to go. The place was cute and the decor made it so unique that you feel like your in a grandmas house filled with all these unique items. The seating had mixed and matched furnishings to give that one of a kind feeling. The staff were welcoming and the service was quick. The drinks were so good I had the ube iced latte with a shot of expresso and my husband had the matcha latte with a dash of coffee. Both drinks were not overpowering on the sweetness but wowed us from the first sip and I have had many ube mixed drinks and I feel this was the best so far. I docked one star because my husband and I only saw the pastry display for a chocolate croissant and scone which were pretty good but leaving the place I saw other people with different food items and wish we would have know about those choices. another stop on my sac cafe crawl, i swung by seasons on an early sunday morning. i looooved that there's a huge parking lot, as the cafe is located inside the clara building. entering through the side door, you'll easily be able to spot and hear the buzz coming from the cafe! outside in the hallway, there are multiple tables and chairs, as well as inside the cafe too. inside, little trinkets are sold; a variety of candles, cards, stickers, etc! a big sign board outside advertised a banana matcha, so of course i had to try! i was a little surprised at the price point, they seem to be a little pricier than other cafes selling matcha. nonetheless, i also wanted a pastry, and spotted a peach cheese danish on display. the banana matcha came with a matcha whipped cream on top, and i LOVED it. it was perfectly sweet, however you could tell they used an artificial banana syrup instead of fresh bananas. regardless, i did really enjoy this drink! the pastry was yummy too, just average! i would probably come back for the convenient parking and seating situation. read more

Seasons Coffee is located Midtown Sac inside the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts Building (note the bright blue door). After entering through the doors, make a right and it's the first door on the right. There's free street parking nearby. I visited on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm. It was completely filled with customers. You definitely would have not been able to sit down if you wanted to hang out there for a while. I viewed their menu online and decided on our orders (latte & ceremonial matcha latte) prior to arriving. They have a board with their specials outside the entrance to the shop and their main menu is on a book in front of the register (which is not viewable until it's your turn to order). It had a cute, yet extremely cluttered look, packed with little trinkets and things for sale. However, I left there feeling slightly claustrophobic; there was not an appropriate place to stand and wait for your drink with the area being filled by tables and seating, which were already occupied. Sadly, I left Seasons with the impression that is that it's a small, crowded place, with underwhelming coffee. The latte I ordered wasn't great; it has a very mild, light taste. My mom ordered a the ceremonial matcha latte. The drink was not at all as described. The description reads: "Made with ceremonial matcha, and featuring our homemade matcha whip". There was no whip on the top of the drink and no where in the description does it say they include a sweetener. She took a sip and said she didn't like it; so I tried it and it had a disgusting artificial syrup aftertaste. I'm not one to waste, but unfortunately that drink just had to get tossed. I came in with high hopes, but left unhappy. With so many other places for coffee in Sacramento, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more

A hidden gem inside the CLARA building on N street in Sacramento. It took me three attempts to finally find this cute little spot. Once you get to the CLARA building, go through the blue doors, walk up the 3 steps, turn right and you've found yourself transported into an eclectic coffee shop with vibrant walls and a fusion on 19th century meets modern design. There's so much to look at while you wait for your coffee and it's a great location to settle in with a book or laptop. They have a specials board right at their entrance as well as menus at their register. I had seen so many posts about their Ube latte that I had to try. It doesn't come caffeinated so I added a shot of espresso. I am glad I did as the uber flavoring is quite sweet. We took ours to go but I believe they do latte art on hot latte orders consumed in house. Two cons for this location are it is a bit expensive and it's only street parking. read more

I am personally a HUGE fan of the Matcha Latte and the accompanying Matcha Whipped cream the Dolly Parton coasters and pink whimsy decor is a plus. They have seating inside, though limited, is cute and cozy, you're immersed in vintage Nan pop cool vibes, but they also have ample seating in the hallway! The coffee amazing, the food is tasty, the decor is mostly purchasable, which is awesome, so if you're looking for a cute coffee stop, I'd recommend this one. I have been wanting to visit Seasons Coffee ever since they opened and today, I was able to! Through the blue doors of CLARA Midtown, make a right upon entry and you'll see a beautifully decorated coffee shop. It is small but actually quite spacious. Each seating area and corner of the cafe carries its own persona individually but they come together so nicely. It almost feels as if I'm walking into a friend's home as it has that familiarity feeling even though it was my first time there. My order was their vanilla latte with oat milk and the avocado toast slider. The avocado toast slider is layered with avocado, eggs, micro greens and prosciutto. They also have a vegan version if you're not into the eggs & prosciutto. The vanilla latte was so creamy and sweet enough to the point where it is not overly sweet and also not too subtle. It was just right and had me wanting another cup. The avocado toast slider was not that big but since it came with many layers, it was a filling toast for breakfast. Enjoyed it very much and look forward to trying their other eats upon my next visit. I sat near the windows and each section of the window seating area had its own decor. There are no other words to describe Seasons Coffee other than cute, warm, inviting and has that homey feeling. Their coffee was so good and I am definitely coming back. They also have an array of teas, merch, and their coffee beans. What's great is that there was plenty of parking around the area and they were easy to park too (this is not common). Last time I went here was in April 2023 It's a bit tricky finding this place- but once you find the building- you're going to look for BLUE doors and once you enter take a right down the hall and it's there. This place is beautiful! Always wanted to come back. Like you have to come here yourself and just experience this place because you're completely teleported into another world in here. The food and the drinks are good! I ordered I believe at the time a Chai Latte and it was my first time trying it. Very good. Their cookies are amazing! Customer service is so sweet. The place as you enter: there's a small art selection you can choose to purchase from such as stickers, cards, and prints. In the very back is a small book shelf area where you can look at books. I love the various coffee drinks I've gotten at Seasons. I've had their seasonal Ube latte, house drip coffee, cold brew, Lavender latte and Gibraltar. All so, so good! And they have the friendliest and chillest staff ever. Last time I was there, I accidentally hit a bump in the counter as I was getting my drink and proceeded to spill my matcha latte all over the counter and floor. The barista was so calm and helpful. I helped wipe up the mess I made, and when I was done, I was greeted with a new matcha latte (which I needed because I had an evening class that night). The coffee shop is usually pretty packed, mostly with people studying, reading or on their laptops. That night, it was strangely loud... not sure if it's always that way since I'm usually often on my way to somewhere else. FINALLY! A! MIDTOWN! COFFEE! SPOT! WITH! PARKING! Okay, did you get that emphasis? HAHA I will share my bias, becuase I know the owner. We've gone to the same gym for almost two years. That being said, I'm being mostly partial here. First, the location is perfect. It's on the Grid, but its not in a part that is saturated with awful parking or another coffee shop a door away. And then, let's talk about the building, the BEAUTIFUL blue doors welcoming you in. If you feel lost they have a sandwich board outside of the Clara building to help you find it. But just look for the blue doors. Once you walk in, hang a quick right and you'll see it. You cannot miss it -- tables and chairs wait like a faux outdoor cafe. The glass door is between some of the 'outside' seating. Inside is like a comfy book. the best way to describe it. The natural sunglight illuminates all the greenery. It highlights the plate decor warmly, and the mix-match funriture just adds to the quaintness. Coffee, yes. Food, too! This seriously is the holy grail - coffee, food, and good parking in Downtown Sacramento. So far, I've tried the breakfast tacos. $5 a piece is a little pricey (but the economy, eh), but they were tasty and high quality. They also offer a variety of milk alternatives which is so awesome. I enjoyed a Soy Latte with an add shot and it was magical. I even sat down to enjoy my breakfast in their cozy shop and it was a vibe. They even have a small little library nook, stocked with games and books for all ages. Just another cute touch added to their coffee shop! I, selfishly, don't want too many people to find out and make this place a mess, but I also hope their business thrives and all the people come to support them. Also, their hours emmulate the Clara's, so this local coffee shop will be open until 7 PM on weekdays. This is so nice, because it's harder to find this type of setting past 5 PM on the Grid. This place is very cute! It's like a little boutique that has great coffee. I came here with my 8 month old and asked the owner (I'm assuming) for a highchair because there are a couple steps upon entry and I did not want to bring my stroller in, he said they didn't have any. He later came up to the table I was sitting at and said he was going to go home real quick and grab the highchairs he had at home that his kids had grown out of and bring them so that next time we came my daughter would have a place to sit. Very cute little place!! It's quaint and the decor is very vintage. The owner and his wife tried to style it to feel like a living room and it really does feel like it!!! It has so much character. Everything seems to have a purpose, even the accidents the owner told us happened during construction of the room .It also has a vintage clothes closet in the back right of the bar small but cute. I met some awesome people at this event and the workers and owner tending the bar were so nice and understanding of my restrictions. I ordered a white peach tea unsweetened and iced and it was so lovely. Lovely enough I went back to try their cold brew and even though it was simplistic and just the cold brew, nonfat milk and stevia, it had SO much flavor. It was velvety and smooth and didn't have a huge acidic kick, and lucky for me he sells the cold brew by the growler for $25. Due to their syrups being made in house they use sugar and I have a dietary restriction so I cannot speak on most of the drinks unfortunately. But I heard nothing but amazing things from the other Yelpers here. They served these focaccia bites and there was a delicious one that had a pesto and tomato topping that was just amazing. So many layers of flavor. They have a few cute little things for sale like candles and clothes and puzzles and a mixture of other cute little doodads. Animals are allowed but they ask you to sit in the hallway outside the door leading into the coffee shop This place is a 10 out of 10 and if I am in the area again I will definitely be stopping by with others in tow. read more
