The bread is where the major happens. Cute stop and loads of choice however get there quick because they do sell out!! It's a perfect fit for the neighborhood.

I've been to Secret Sisters several times and always have delightful food. We order the breakfast sandwich (add ham!), the olive oil cake, and their other seasonal pastries. Sourdough loaves are one of my favorite in the city (and we've tried several). They're well priced too compared to competitors. Their bagels are great but I don't love their cream cheese. There is usually a small line on weekend mornings, but they get through it quickly. There are always great dogs here and families with kiddos. It is a true community staple and we always feel happy to patron the business.

Sticky bun and rhubarb scone - Nov 2025

Busy Saturday morning at Secret sister but the line moved quickly and there was indoor and outdoor seating which was pet friendly. Adjacent to the Rose and they had pastries, coffee, Paru tea, and breakfast sandwiches and breakfast baguettes. Cute inside with a couch in the corner and cozy decor. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious, especially the bread. We also got the carrot cake, quiche, morning sticky bun and rhubarb scone. The least favorite was the scone - a bit dry but everything else was good. Service was the friendly and efficient for how busy it was. You bus your own dishes and they have to go boxes available. Street parking in South Park.

Really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich here! Great biscuit, an over easy egg that was actually over easy (beautiful yolk), and Gruyère. The arugula was soggy and I think the sandwich would be better without it. I also tried the fig jam and earl gray morning bun. The texture of the bun was really nice. I went on a Saturday morning and there was a long line, but the food came out quicker than expected. Lots of outdoor seating. Great service.

    Morning bun and sourdough donut

The most peacefully perfect cafe in South Park. I came in mid morning on a Thursday and ordered a cranberry eucalyptus iced tea and two pastries since I couldn't decide between the morning bun and the sourdough donut. Everything I ordered was equally unique. I was unsure if I would like the iced tea, but I had already had my morning coffee and wanted something decaf and their option was nicely fruity and refreshing without being overpowering. The pastries were exceptional. The morning bun was rolled in sugar and topped with jam and a creamy drizzle. The donut seems like your typical glazed, but it has this nice bite of tang that lets it stand out. The donut was my favorite of the two. Service is super friendly and it was very quick to order and sit down. I grabbed a seat outside where there were plenty of tables.

I've been wanting to come here for quite some time to try their sourdough bakery goods. I was fascinated by the fact that they use a starter that's over 140 years old. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on a sourdough, biscuity bun and the country loaf. Both were tasty with a very light sourdough flavor. The staff were great, and the atmosphere was lovely. I was able to find street parking about a block away.

I really don't like giving low ratings and only want to uplift businesses, but there's no way I could upload a review and lie that I had the best drink ever. I'm sure this place is more focused on their baked goods than their coffee. The espresso in my vanilla latte was basically non existent. I saw the color of my latte and I just knew it was just going to taste like milk. However, the workers were so sweet and their breakfast sandwich was delicious. I'll have to come back and try more of their baked goods!

the baked goods hear are PHENOMENAL 10/10. i've never had something i didn't like here. def try the sourdough chocolate chip cookie or chai snickerdoodle. super cute vibe in south park with indoor and outdoor seating. attached to their sister restaurant; the rose wine bar. sadly wouldn't recommend any of their coffee drinks. i've tried to give it a chance a few times and there's usually no flavor (i add vanilla) and always has espresso grounds in it.. if they upped their coffee game, would be my go to spot for breakfast

The coffee and pastries are spectacular here at Secret Sister. We stopped by around 11am on a Sunday and were able to snag a table for two indoors. They were reserving several patio tables for the lunch service at Rose cafe that was opening up. The place was packed! We ordered the breakfast sandwiches and two iced coffees. I was tempted to try one of their sourdough pastries and settled on a chocolate chip cookie to go. It was soft and chewy - delish! I love the cozy feeling with the tables and couches inside. It's a great place to enjoy a meal, read a book or get some work done

Thank you Secret Sister bakery for fulfilling my matcha & bagel craving. I originally came this way to hit the OOO pop up, but the line was too long for my lunch break. I was so happy to find this gem right across the street. The matcha was delicious (they use PARU iykyk) but i would've loved a tinge more sweetness. I am a sweets person though, so the average human will love this. The bagel was insanely delicious - sooo chewy and the sourdough flavor was so yum. Would definitely make my way back to this cute spot!

We love stopping by after giving our pup a bath at SouthBark. It's always a toss-up between the quiche and the breakfast sandwich--so naturally, we just get both. The olive oil cake is a must if you're in the mood for something sweet. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and yes--they spoil our dog with treats too. Everyone in the family leaves happy. Can't ask for more.

The OG breakfast. Fun but I preferred the simplicity of the carnitas hash.

Lots of chocolate and I think they added toffee in it too. The middle section had pistachio frangipane (or it looked like it) with coarsely chopped pistachios that brought another layer of crunch! Then to top it all off, it had pistachio cream on top of the cookie! I only wish I got another one. CAPPUCCINO It was okay. But love the foam! It was frothy and foamy! PAVLOVA The meringue was a bit too hard and too sweet and the pastry cream was overwhipped. Loved the fresh fig and blueberries though. I was looking forward to eating pavlova and this was very disappointing! KOUIGN AMANN Very buttery and sticky! Crispy on the outside. Every bite was not dry, but chewy. There was this sticky and chewy texture that wasn't unpleasant, yet it wasn't fully flaky like a croissant. But glad it was not dry! The kouign amann was not as tall like others I've tried, but I preferred it this way because it was not dry. The last kouign amann I had from Bread Lounge was dryyyy. But bought mine at a coffee shop too. PAIN AU CHOCOLAT Crispy on the outside, but I must have toasted a bit more, so the outside was a bit more toasted than desired. Inside was good. Good dark chocolate. BUTTER CROISSANT Really buttery, flaky, crispy! Ate it next day, so reheated it in the toaster oven to bring a more crispness all around. Really enjoyed this! Adding butter and jam is so good! LEMON MERINGUE Meringue had a strong eggy smell and flavor, the lemon was tangy, but not enough to rid of the eggy smell and flavor. The tart was hard and almost stale. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. PAIN SUISSE Chocolate flavor. Crispy on the outside, fluffy like a light spongy cake inside. Enjoyed this! CUSTOMER SERVICE Got there early afternoon. There was only one person in front of me. Good service overall. Quick service. Hits and misses of the various pastries I've tried. It will not deter me from trying their pastries though, as the really good ones were really good! Would love to return! Especially for that Choco Chip Pistachio Cookie!
