Located on the first floor of the Shops at Montebello. The store is a little small but fully stocked. Cashier was nice. Couldn't resist getting a free sample and additional chocolates. I tried the birthday cake...can't believe I'm saying this, but it was too sweet. Candies are $30.90 a pound so getting just three pieces of candy are already $4, but they're tasty!

This is my go to See's Candies location whenever I'm buying chocolate as a gift. They have a lot of pre made boxes to purchase, or you can also build your own box of candies. The chocolate itself is on the pricier end but is delicious and worth it in my opinion. The store is on the smaller end, however, everything is always fully stocked when I've come. The employees here are always exceptionally friendly and they always offer samples which I definitely appreciate. Overall, I would recommend coming here!

I am currently addicted to their sea salt caramel squares covered in chocolate. That chewy caramel bite can't be beat when that salty flake kicks in. Ugh so good. We occasionally order sliced candy apples, ice cream, or their large rice krispy treats to take into the movies with us also. Have not had a item we haven't like. They even have chocolate covered bacon and plenty of fruity candies for you to bag yourself. There are no other full candy stores in Alhambra with this kind of variety.

They also serve ice cream & milkshakes and have some cute gift items too. It smelled so good when we walked in. A friendly Danielle greeted us with a happy "Hello." The chocolates were very tempting, and they had some creative options like Chocolate Covered Jalapeño. I joked that they even had chocolate covered bacon. My friend was so excited she bought one. The candy apples were hard to resist. However, I saw a sign that said, "New: Dubai Pistachio Truffles," so I had to try one. At $4.99 it was a bit pricey. The crunchy pistachio center was a delightful surprise. I had expected it to be a creamy filling, but this was a nice contrast. I could taste the pistachio and it paired well with the chocolate outer shell. I'm glad I decided to get it.

As the name of the bakery implies, it's "Perfectly Sweet"…read more I'm generally a bit more wary of purchasing baked goods from non-Asian bakeries since they tend to be sweeter than what my palate likes, but not here! The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. It's also a cafe where you can order drinks, as well as a place you can order cakes custom order or what they have behind the glass already. There's both seating inside and outside.

The coconut ice cream milk tea is a unique and delicious drink. Another standout drink is the matcha frostie with creme brulee. I have never had a bad drink from this place. The menu here is very huge, maybe even too huge. There are so many drinks you could possibly order, ranging from milk teas to fruit teas to slushies to coffees and a lot more. I think it would be better if they focused on a smaller menu with some really good specialty drinks. Nevertheless, I will miss this boba shop.

Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Any passion that rang within these walls dissipated a long time ago. Currently, YOTEA (Rosemead) is simply mediocre. 2.9 out of 5
