The ambiance of this little Mexican food joint (located in the strip mall at the southwest corner of Glendora and Merced Avenues in the city of West Covina) certainly isn't their strong suit. It's a tiny place with a BIG MENU! The food is superlative, flavorful and delicious! Last night I had the Chile Verde Wet Burrito (around ten bucks) and it was HUGE! It looked delcious and tasted even BETTER! I was very hungry but had to end up taking some of it home with me; my wife and I could have easily shared it. I was really blown away at just how good it was; big chunks of marinated pork in an authentic green sauce that was sooooo good! Don't be put off by their location. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FOOD HERE! The menu is literally HUGE and you can count on the food being freshly prepared and HOT (one of my personal pet-peeves is COLD FOOD). It's so fresh that you could order it to go and when you get home, everything is still hot and fresh~ I love this place. What a little hidden gem, in West Covina. Came here for the first time today during lunch. It was too hot and I didn't feel like driving far and this place is right across the street from where I work. I ordered 3 tacos, 2 asada and 1 pastor and chips and salsa. Taco meat had great flavor and the salsa is delicious and so spicy. The gentleman Mateo was so friendly and the food was brought out super fast. During my meal Mateo brought out a sample of melon water and it was soooooo good. My new favorite drink. The customer service was fantastic - super friendly and very accommodating of my special requests. The chips were plentiful, fresh, and very tasty. The green and red salsas were very spicy, but full of flavor as well. The carne asada burrito was ample in size and quite tasty. All in all, Señor Burrito was a solid three-star establishment and I wouldn't hesitate to return. However, the al pastor burrito was the star of the show, and for that alone I have to bump up their rating to four stars. I love tacos al pastor, and I will order them anytime I find them on the menu of an authentic Mexican restaurant. Over the years, I have had some very good tacos al pastor and some that I would even consider great. However, I was ordering burritos to take back to the family and so when I saw they offered an "al pastor" option, I was all-in. By far, the al pastor burrito was the best I had ever eaten. At work, we have bought delicious and authentic Mexican food from this restaurant when it used to be located inside a liquor store. We fondly call it "liquor store lunch." This free standing location is definitely more convenient. The guacamole sells out quickly, but the green salsa is a great substitute. It's hot but has a tangy tomatillo base with charred bits. The Family Deal is a deal with a pound of meat, which was packed full into a styrofoam container and includes enough salsa, tortillas, chips, Mexican style rice and beans chopped cilantro and onion, enough for 4. I did add an extra pound of a different meat for choice with my family. The carnitas and the carne asada are well seasoned, tender and not fatty. Chopped pollo is also very good, but sometimes it can be a tad dry, like chicken tends to be at times. Service is fast, and you can also call ahead. The menu mentions breakfast, burritos, tortas and hamburgers, which can be tried at another visit! read more

The food is decent for a hole in the wall but it's so close to my house that's why I come. I ordered a chile verde burrito with no rice. But the burrito came with rice as I took it to go. The burrito was alright but at the ends was all tortilla thick and the fillings was dry like it's been there for a while not selling I guess. I won't be back as that was my first time here. Doesn't look like much when you're pass by, but it's definitely a hole in the wall place has very delicious food! And there fast! Recommend it for a good home cook meal! This place is decently good. The breakfast burrito is full of bacon, eggs, potato, and cheese. My bf and I have tried the beef burrito, beef tacos, and the pork tamale. They're all good, but I wish they would give more beef in the burrito. The pork tamales didn't look delicious when it came out but it was flavorful and moist. The beef tacos are good because of the awesome salsa verde. All their salsa and guacamole is really authentic and great hint of spicy (I love spicy!). It's a hole in the wall in a small strip mall. I thought I check it out was going to order their beef burrito. I was waiting their for a few minutes and nobody was around from the staff. Then I read, 75 cents charge if you use credit card under $5, I'm like cool burritos cost $7. Then another sign says charge 50 cents for credit card over $5. Ah what, so I'm not going to spend extra to pay them. Maybe next time I will swing by when I am carrying cash. read more
