Love this place for KBBQ. We've been here 3x already and always enjoy our dining experience! Delicious meat combos to choose from and all of the selections we've tried so far are delicious! My entire family (me and my husband and our 3 children) love it here. What's also awesome is that they offer to cook for you if you like so you can relax, enjoy your date, take care of your kids etc :) Their soup along with the combinations are also soo tasty! I like to get soybean and I still have yet to try the kimchi soup! The side dishes are also really tasty. Kimchi is house made and I'm obsessed with it! Feel free to ask for more as much as you want! They also have appetizers you can order but honestly unless it's a specific one you want, there's no need. They serve drinks and also have multiple televisions usually playing K-pop and sports. I have been a repeat customer since the restaurant opened, and I would like to commend the quality of the meat, which I find to be quite good--arguably better than many comparable establishments in the area. However, I believe there are several critical areas that require improvement. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that the owners will consider making changes that could help the business thrive. I genuinely enjoy the quality of the meat and would like to continue supporting the restaurant. Meat Quality and Portion Consistency The quality of the meat, particularly the Bone-in Short Rib steak, Rib-eye, and brisket, is consistently high. However, portion sizes are notably smaller compared to competitors, and more concerning, they are inconsistent. Even when ordering the same "large combo," the amount of meat varies significantly between visits. This inconsistency is frustrating and undermines the value for price. Food Quality and Menu Pricing While the meat is excellent, the rest of the menu does not meet the same standard and fall short. Many of food items are just plain bad or seem overpriced relative to their quality. I understand food preferences are subjective, but based on numerous visits, I feel confident in stating that improvements are utmost needed. On my most recent visit, all the side dishes lacked flavor (EVEN KIMCHI), stews were mediocre at best, and even the dipping sauces tasted diluted. I respectfully suggest reviewing the current kitchen operations and possibly hiring a new cook ASAP. Climate Control and Dining Comfort One of the recurring issues is the lack of air conditioning in the dining area. For a restaurant positioned at this price point--where guests often spend around $50 per person--providing a comfortable dining environment should be a must. A properly cooled space enhances the overall experience and reflects the level of professionalism expected at this tier. It also helps reduce the activity of the flying suckers. I sincerely hope the management will take this feedback into consideration. A Korean BBQ experience like you are in Seoul Korea. Great customer service and they are very kind. They cook your BBQ at your table for yourself. You don't have to take any difficulties in cooking your BBQ yourself. They have opened their restaurant brand new in that Irvine area so their Ambiance is very clean. Overall the food was amazing. Their Beef and pork had the best taste ever. They had the perfect marbling. Their side dishes was really good. Their Kimchi tasted very fresh. The only thing I would critic on would be the price. First of all this is not an all you can eat KBBQ place. It's located right across from Tanaka farms and there's ample amount of parking here. It's very spacious and clean and here the servers will cook the meat and items for you. For a business meeting for 3 adult males we had ordered the large beef and pork combo which comes with a variety of meat and your choice of rice, salad, or soup. They start off with the brisket and then it gets better from there. The one item that is a must try is their bone on short rib. It's marbled to perfection and just melts in your mouth. Luckily for me the others were getting full which meant more for myself. The side plates were good but wish there was more variety along with the dips. They serve you salt and a house dip and that's it. It would be better to have sesame seed oil, spicy variation and classic Asian bbq sauces. A very friendly Korean restaurant, which unfortunately is not common. The food was good overall, but their brisket was really tough. We did not enjoy that one at all. The rest of the beef combo was delicious, and their banchans were pretty good as well. Their jjigae tasted more homemade, which I prefer. Their pickled radish was a bit thicker than usual so trying to wrap it was more challenging, but it tasted fine. Overall, it was a good meal. Briskets are so hard to chew, and worse than other less expensive AYCE places 2. Air ventilation system is not working. One side of a room pushes the air out while the other side of the room sucks up the air 3. Galbi tang is a MSG soup. I cannot even make it this bad at home 4.
