Dog friendly for your well behaved pooch.

Thank you Danielle, for helping me with a concealer which led to a color correcting skin tint, waterproof mascara & eyebrow pencil. I was originally looking for a concealer by Laura Mercier for my under eye area that was recommended by a lady who I follow on IG. I met Danielle, who inquired if I needed assistance, which I did, regarding color selection. After discussing the purpose, she said that her favorite concealer was by the brand IT. She determined that my skin was pretty fair with pink undertones, which was lighter than her initial thoughts so she switched up the concealer color & also recommended a skin tint with SPF 40 (I usually don't wear foundation but wear several layers of sunscreen due to previously living in Hawaii & skin protection). I never do anything with my eyebrows other than a little bit of plucking & she lightly colored in my brows so they weren't overwhelming (my fear was that I would have eyebrows like Angry Birds), which was perfect. I usually wear waterproof mascara due to workouts & she applied the IT Superhero waterproof mascara which really lengthened my lashes. I usually get my Sephora items online due to ease but I'm glad that I found Danielle, who was knowledgeable & helpful.

I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Sephora on Union thanks to Cynara! I strolled in on a Friday evening, 30 minutes before closing. Cynara checked in with me to see if I needed anything. They had the most gorgeous silver glitter eyeshadow look--I knew I could trust their taste. She led me to Danessa Myricks to show me the newest product the Colorfix Stix--an incredible double-ended shadow stick. They expertly swatched three shades on my hand, and I fell in love with #8 Meteorite/Draco, which is a gunmetal grey cream shadow on one end and a blue/purple shimmer on the other. Cynara helped me find everything I needed in addition to the beautiful shadow stick that I never would have seen had it not been for her. They were incredibly warm, kind, and clearly passionate and extremely knowledgeable about the products. I can't wait to come back and shop with Cynara again! Thank you so much for being so wonderful, I will absolutely be back for all of my cosmetic needs (and wants)!

You'll find currently trendy products like snail secretion skin care, hair curlers, bb cream, cc cream, etc. Most of the beauty products (skin care, cosmetics) are from Korea, from brands like Etude House, Toly Moly, and Skinfood. They can also pre-order items from those lines. The Milk Talk body lotion smells like milkshakes. Expect to find really cute packaging but not a lot of English on the packaging. There are testers of most of the beauty products. The shop is tiny but crammed full of clothes, lingerie, stockings, shoes, scarves, purses, jewelry, iPhone accessories and makeup. Not everything has a price but the things that had prices were very reasonably priced. The clothes and accessories are in the $20-$30 range. Some of it was cute - especially if you are a girly girl who likes bows, ribbons, ruffles, lace and faux fur (e.g., faux fur bras). However the material is predominantly synthetic. I couldn't figure out the sizes of some items. The shoes all look small, size 6 small. The skirts are super short. They have iPhone bumpers with Hello Kitty bows, iPhone cases that look like Dior nailpolish bottles I received a free sample and very courteous service. My picks: * Baby Milo iPhone screen protectors for iPhone 5 ($10) * Hello Kitty bow style iPhone bumpers for iPhone 4 * Etude House strawberry lip cream ($6, smells wonderful) * Pocket bunny moist mist - love the bunny packaging

I'm so glad we have Credo storefronts in the city. My partner and I both booked makeup one-on-one…read moresessions this past summer in preparation for our wedding, and it was a great experience. Neither of us wear makeup on a regular basis, and my techniques were stuck in 2008 lol. So the class was a much needed refresher on current makeup trends. Together, we spent about $750 and didn't get any free samples or gifts with purchase like you would online, so for that reason, in the future, I'll probably go there to try on makeup and make my purchases online, or be more direct in asking for samples/gifts with purchase. I really like all the products I purchased, though my partner picked up some duds (bad packaging, dry product) so in the future, we will make sure everything is working properly before the return window lapses, because these products are not cheap!

At the very least grab yourself a balm that can be used anywhere & anytime for your purse for some on the go hydration.

"Beauty is skin deep"…read more Japan and Korea are the leaders in innovative skincare so it makes sense that many women gravitate to Asian brands. Longtime Japanese luxury brand Shiseido has been creating well loved skincare and cosmetics since 1872. I ran out of eye cream so I tried some at a Korean brand shop that I like. It was fine, but not what I am used to. I am accustomed to skincare that my skin quickly "drinks" opposed to feeling waxy on the surface of my skin. If I have to pat the product for absorption over an extended period of time - it isn't worth it. I was walking out of the Japantown "mall" to get fresh mochi across the street when I saw the awning to this shop with Shiseido products prominently displayed in the window. I asked for eye cream. I was shown their options. I used one option she showed me for a year until it was empty (thats why I was there). I tried different products I was curious about as well. 10 minutes in the shop and I was out of there! The ladies who assisted me were professional, courteous, and helpful with answering my questions. I didn't feel pressured to try or buy anything more than what I wanted. This shop sells another brand - but I wasn't interested. My sensitive skin loves the eye cream. The jar is enough to last about half a year - so consider that along with the effectiveness and voila - it was a great deal! I am thankful for my fuss free purchase. I will return when my balancing elixir runs out.
