Cute little sit-down cafe we've been meaning to try and it was great! I ordered the dragonfruit tea which was refreshing and not too sweet. A bit too much ice as the drink went by very quickly. But the pandan ice cream was a pleasant surprise. It paired well with the mint leaf and the two chocolate cookie straws added. One drawback was probably during out first walk-in experience, it was hard to pick up what else was sold here. We expected drinks of course but in terms of desserts, it seemed limited compared to The Vintage 1979. We defaulted to ice cream and unfortunately it was difficult to order because most pictures did not have names/price and the "custom" selection part just listed flavors... but how many scoops and what price are we expecting? It's really up in the air until you actually see it. So hopefully the picture I attached helps. 1 scoop of pandan ice cream for $5.50. Also, there's other food selections here recently added. It's not on the menu and not mentioned by staff until you sit down and see a little sign: Bo Kho with bread. Not sure what this place is intending to be if not exclusive to just drinks and desserts, but this was interesting. Ive never had to write a review for any place but this place is ridiculous ive been waiting for 30 minutes for 2 coffee's. 30 minutes is ridiculous! I came in for the soft opening as i had been to The Vintage 1979 and it's one of my go to's so i had to come try the new cafe out! The whole cafe was very cute and clean, many spots to sit down and chat or even study because it's not too loud. The employees are also very sweet and helpful as well. We got a bac xui and a pinky bac xui. The bac xui had a very good coffee taste without being too overpowering or overly sweet. The pinky bac xui was very surprising as it had strawberry and it complimented the coffee super well. It is a bit sweeter than the regular bac xui so id you like sweet i recommend the pinky bac xui. I had an amazing time at September. Beautiful atmosphere, the staff was incredibly friendly and checked in on me multiple times for feedback and to see if I liked everything. The drinks were wonderful and the recommendation from the staff was thoughtful. Music was pleasant and appropriate, plenty of parking and EVERYTHING was presented just like the photos. Not all the items I've tried here are good but I really enjoyed the breadsticks and rainbow jasmine milk tea. Because of the added flan and other toppings I think it's the best jasmine milk tea around. They give the smallest portion compared to all other places but I never posted a review about it. However, the portions have gotten more pathetic so I need to talk about it. I paid $9 for a milk tea. I sucked on the straw maybe like 5-6 sips and bam all liquids gone. The cup is pretty small compared to other places to start with and it was filled to the brim with ice. Literally barely made it out of the plaza before the drink is gone. For $9 at least make your drink size comparable to the average boba shop. Outrageous. read more

I highly recommend this drink for anyone who loves dragonfruit. The pinky Bac Xíu was actually really good. It's not a strong coffee flavor so it won't make you feel that caffeine high but still a delight to drink in the morning. It is perfect for me. Driving up from San Diego, I looked up for coffee places in the neighborhood and this place popped up on my Yelp. It looked like a place I would try because there are many varieties of drinks and desserts. The popular drink is their egg Vietnamese coffee. I had to try it and I was not a disappointed. It's strong and creamy. Very tasty and sweet from the condensed milk. The matcha latte drink was a mild sweet drink with its cute little detail of the bear shape flavored matcha ice. Very cute. The passion fruit cheesecake was perfectly not too sweet and refreshing fruit taste I needed. The lady at the register was very nice. She asked if it's dine in or to go? I said there are no seats so it's a to go. She said she can place table and chairs for me to seat outside. That was very kind of her. It was so busy she forgot to give me my dessert at the counter. This looks like a cute place the ambiance was nice but i was sitting at one of their wooden tables with holes in the wood as an artistic choice,,, and inside the hole it was sticky...... i got the peachy milk tea the cashier told me it was sweeter and she wasn't wrong,,, it was soooooo sweet almost undrinkable.
