Had a nail in the tire. Came in to this place, apparently Sergio is a one man show. Kind, honest , and upfront guy. The tire repair is 25 dollars, some folks would argue that it high , but a repair is cheaper than replacing the tire. What matters is Sergio does a good job to keep you rolling and safely! During a 6 hour drive my tire unexpectedly blew out on the 101 not far from Sergio's Tires. I pulled off and was absolutely freaked out and worried. I called Sergio's Tires and the guy who answered was beyond helpful and kind. He came to me, changed my tire on the 101, then I went back to their shop and he checked the rest of my tires. He gave me good advice. He was so quick, efficient, helpful and just went above and beyond. From the time I called on the side of the 101 until the time I was pulling out of their shop it was exactly an hour. He saved my day, my car and my long drive. The price was absolutely reasonable for everything he did for me. The situation was very scary and overwhelming for me, he literally handled everything being calm and kind and got me on my way in an hour for a reasonable price! Highly recommend coming here for any of your tire troubles! Drove over some scrap metal by a construction site and had to replace my flat tire. Sergio was not only quick in helping me fix it, but he gave me options to choose from and made recommendations for what to do (patch it vs. replace it). Such great value for the quality of service I received. Called him prior to coming and he was able to take me in right away. Honesty goes a long way. And that is what I appreciate the most about Sergio. I had 22 inch wheels that had thinner profile tires making it more difficult to dismantle. Due to this reason, I had to pay a bit more than expected but in result, it was installed properly. Sergio and his Team are professionals and knowledgeable. They take their time and very careful to not scratch the wheels, going the extra mile to check for air leaks, and torquing the wheels in a star pattern and so forth. All those efforts are recognized! This is the BEST place to get used tires in the Bay Area. I've been to so many places and Sergio was honest about how good the tire was I needed. Mind you, if you drive a high end car, you will need a tire that is on the more expensive side. He had one and I mean it was BRAND NEW without the ticket price of a new tire. Sergio's Tires saved my day! My front tire on the passenger side got shredded by sharp rocks coming down from Mt. Hamilton this afternoon. We stopped at a couple tire shops but none of them had right tire for my car. Called a Mazda dealer and their parts guy sent me to Sergio's. I called Sergio's and they were willing to wait for me on a Saturday right before they close shop. We got there 15 minutes before their closing time, and they put the new tire and we were out of there in less than half hour. Covid is no issue here. they get you in at a first-come first-serve basis, work quickly, humble place, very reasonable staff, friendly, listen to what you actually need and go for it. They were gentle with my new lug nuts that I did not want scored, they were gentle with my frame, made sure wood blocks were there so as not to damage and I have an old BMW that I treat like a baby. I got a used tire from them, and they help me with balancing on all the tires. I was even $5 short and I was told by the owner that it is worth it to get a positive review for $5. I'm happy to write a review with a $5 discount. Especially since they were great. read more
