My first time coming here and I'm just so disappointed. It's Taco Tuesday Sing Along night and the line is out of the door. It seems people really love coming here. I'm not sure what black business owners don't understand about customer service and operations. You have more customers than you can accommodate, that means it's time to optimize your operations. We waited in line for 20 mins. We weren't updated about the reason for the wait. Then we get to the bar and the bartenders are prioritizing order tickets and ignoring us standing there. We finally get a drink. We came for a friend's birthday and she reserved a spot near the TV's, they told her they overbooked and placed us in a tucked away back corner. There's no communication or accountability here. If you can't handle the crowd then limit the amount of people you let in. There are no systems in place for the bartenders. I went and tried to get another drink and was ignored for 15 mins. I gave up and walked away. I didn't even waste my time ordering food. This is weak management. The manager should be out on the floor, greeting guests, managing the flow, problem solving. We have to do better, especially as persons of color. I didn't get any alcohol, but I'm attaching photos of my friends' drinks because they were really pretty. I started off with some charbroiled oysters, which were really yummy, but also HUGE. We found this spot on Google and the pictures looked good. When we got there, the seating was empty but the bar was packed. Someone at the bar helped us with seating and eventually the bartender came and brought us waters. The music was so loud that it was hard for the three of us to chat without talking loud. The service is just phenomenal, we had Isaiah as our server and he was beyond attentive and very generous. For my food I ordered the salmon embedded with crab, which was seasoned well and cooked perfectly! Very good portions and you could substitute the sides to garlic noodles, asparagus or broccoli. They recently started a brunch, I believe, at the beginning of this month, so tiny kinks only. I made a same day reservation for 11:30 am for 2. There is plenty of parking. When going in restaurants, nobody was there to seat us, so I went to the bar and asked, and the lady came out with a smile. The menu needs to be scanned on tables. The menu for brunch looks yummy, and it tastes yummy, too. They do not give bottomless mimosa, so hopefully, in the future, once kinks are worked out, they'll include that. There weren't a lot of people at this time being brunch from 12 pm - 6 pm. We had a great waitress who resolved, although she was the only one and busy she still managed to be attentive to everyone. Extremely disappointed with my experience at 719 by GS on 12/28/2025. A large 49ers group was allowed to take over the entire establishment and attempt to bully regular, paying customers out of tables that were reserved well before the group even arrived. Staff actively tried to make customers get up from their tables just so this group could sit, which is completely unacceptable. What made it worse was the manager on duty doing absolutely nothing to resolve the situation or stand up for customers who followed the reservation rules. If this group is essentially treated like a private party, then reservations should not be kept open to the public--especially knowing how disruptive this group is allowed to be. To top it off, the bar ran out of alcohol, and staff didn't even have the remote to turn the games on, which defeats the purpose of coming to a sports bar in the first place. Poor management, poor planning, and zero regard for regular customers. I will not be returning. read more

Had to come out and support a new Black owned business (3/17/23)...Edgar was our server and he made sure we had a great experience. He gave us recommendations as we couldn't decide on drinks and food. Since we dined during their soft opening, Edgar informed us in advance that he is still learning the food and drink menu and was apologetic in advance if he couldn't answer all of our questions. We assured him that we totally understood and that it was all good. Let's talk about the food: We started off with the charbroiled oysters. Now, just so y'all know, I'm not an oyster person. I didn't like them. The taste was way too fishy. I've had charbroiled oysters in New Orleans (those are yummy), but these weren't it. However, my fiancé liked them! He said that could have been cooked a little longer though. For our entree, I went with the Stuffed Salmon and my fiancé went with the Seven Seas. Both were exceptionally delicious! Seasoned well. So much flavor. The stuffed salmon is stuffed with lump crab topped with beurre blanc sauce served with dirty rice and grilled asparagus. The Seven Seas was fried rockfish, three fried shrimp, and two fried oysters smothered in lobster creole beurre blanc sauce served with fried grits and grilled asparagus. Y'all...this was my first time eating FRIED grits and it was so good. No meal is complete without dessert. So I was a little disappointed that the only dessert they offered was beignets. I'm hoping they will have a full dessert menu soon. As far as the cocktails, they have a pretty good cocktail menu. We started off with the High Fashioned. Uh, yeah, that was a "no" for us lol. My fiancé and I are whiskey drinkers and love us a good ol' Old Fashioned, so we thought we would give the High Fashioned a try, since it was a twist to our favorite. But yeah it was not it (it had a bitter, medicine like after taste). So my fiancé ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and I ordered the High Tea. {This comment goes directly to Shay, the bartender: "Girl! You came through with the Long Island and High Tea!!!"} My fiancé said the Long Island was one of the best he's had and only needed one because it was made just right. The High Tea, a vodka cocktail, was refreshing: honeydew green tea and chamomile tea with a hint of citrus. I am pleasantly surprised that the GS now has another option besides the District. While the food is delicious at the other location, Seven Nineteen brings a different flavor to its menu. With mostly seafood options, which is a positive right away for me personally. The service is awesome, Diamond made a recommendation for the portobello mushroom fries and she was spot on! Let me first say that if I could give 10 stars I would. I already had a reservation for another restaurant in Hollywood that I had paid for, for my birthday. As I was driving by on Friday night, I popped in here to see how the ambience was. I don't live too far and I used to go to the GS years ago. On Friday night, there wasn't that many people, which was great for me. The food and drinks were amazing. The customer service is definitely a 20 out of 20 so much so that I decided to change my birthday celebration they're for Sunday and lose my $100 deposit for the other restaurant. Now on Sunday, I had a large party of 20. Usually, when you have a large party at a restaurant something seems to go wrong. But that was definitely not the case .There was not one food item that my party had that wasn't amazing. When I mean everything was good, I mean everything was good. The drinks were fire and strong and again the customer service was on point. I don't believe I lived up the street so long, and have not been here before this, this is definitely a spot if you want some good food, good drinks and good energy you should definitely check it out. I don't do reviews often, but this was way worth it. From the food and drinks, the staff and the manager, there is not one thing I can say that was bad. The drinks, however, are not strong, but the ambiance was stellar. The new layout is very attractive compared to the old GS Lounge. The Dj on Tuesday was awesome and made the experience fun and enjoyable. One of our orders arrived late, and the hostess made it right. I totally recommend this for any occasion. The parking lot is small because it's in a small mini mall. Keep circling, you'll find a spot. They do have valet parking. Inside is not that large, but it has cozy seating pockets. It's a very mello spot. Came on a Friday evening. They had a fantastic live band playing classic R&B. Upon entry, we were greeted by a lovely hostess. There's a photographer that will take great photos of your experience. You get a framed photo for $20 each. I was greeted and spoke with Jacobe (super sorry if I spelled it wrong). He was very pleasant. He said everything on the menu was delicious. He wasn't lying! Everything we tried was flavorful, tender, and well presented. I had a great time at Seven Nineteen. I'm a fan of the district so I had to visit this new location. The restaurant had a small parking lot right in front with free parking. It's shared with other businesses but there's a good amount of spaces. The interior and exterior are very cute with a few nice spots for pictures. The staff are amazing! The hostess and our waitress, Michel'le were wonderful. She provided great customer service and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We ordered the Garlic noodles, fried lobster tail, garlic shrimp, stuffed salmon and beignets. The food was well seasoned, flavorful, hot and delicious. Parking is a small lot shared by other businesses so dont lose hope, take another circle around. I came in Saturday around 7pm. The crowd was slowly emerging as I looked through the quaint menu. Not many craft beers and the selections on tap were hit or miss. I ordered a modelo but I shoulda had water, it was flat and seemed to be going out due to excessive foam. I ordered the portobello fries and they had a tasty batter and you could taste the mushroom. Last, I ordered the double shrimp with grit cake but it took an hour because the female bartender forgot to put in my order after I gave her my order. Ironically, her friend was at the bar and she made sure he was taken care of (food and drinks delivered on time). The gentleman bartender with a red fade was friendly and helped me get my food when he saw I was forgotten on the side. This is a long overdue review. I came here with my mother and the ambiance was very nice. It's a hole in the wall for sure on Manchester and I am glad we discovered it. The food and service was good. My mom is a social butterfly so the servers loved her energy and they were super polite and welcoming. I had their lamb chops and the drinks was well made. Everything was great from start to finish! Our server Amani was so nice and her service was exceptional. I started out with the Rita made with Cazadores tequila. Amani said the tequila was not substitutable but the drink was still delicious. We ordered the garlic noodles and the shrimp as appetizers and both were tasty. My entree was the blacked shrimp with the grits cake and omg it was spicy and delicious!! I tasted my friend's lamp chops and I will definitely be getting that the next time I go!
