The owner, Jeff, was gracious enough to close off the bar area for us and give us a really fun, yet informative tour of the distillery. Ambience is amazing. There is good enough seating! Very chilled theme too! Jeremiah (Bartender) shared some historical information about his family and his reasons for working here at the bar and it just really made the night for me with a friendly conversation and good cocktail recommendations. Definitely stop in and check it out. They are open 7 days a week 11am to 7 pm There's many selections to choose from of spirits :Gin/Whiskey/Bourbon/Vodka/etc.... Definitely stop in and tour the spot and get a New Orleans Distillery feel. Thus Distillery is a ONE stop shop spot! Took a carshare to the spot but did notice that there was a small parking lot right next to the location. We were immediately greeted by the staff inside who knew we were there for the tasting and tour. Upon entering, there are various things inside for you to purchase like shirts, snacks, magnets, alcohol, etc. We went to the tasting area and was greeted by another staffer (René) who explained the history of all the alcohol, the names given, and ingredients. We were able to taste maybe 6/7 of their alcohol. Of course there is water near by for you to try and stay hydrated lol. After the tasting we then toured the distillery where René did a great job of explaining the process of making the drinks and got to taste one last shot. After the tour, you exit out to the bar area when you can order yourself a nice coke beverage to end the tour. We did see tables for groups to sit and drink, not sure if there was food there but I doubt it. read more

We stopped by the Seven Three Distilling as part of a "City and Cemetery Tour" that we purchased through Cajun Experience Tour Company. It looked to be a little off the beaten path for those not going on a tour. I'm not much of a hard liquor drinker, but we did decide to have a Hurricane since we were here. The drink certainly wasn't cheap ($21), but was mixed very well as it was quite smooth and tasty! There was plenty of seating with booths and pub table sets all about the place. It was nice to chill in a booth and casually enjoy our drinks. The bartenders were friendly and personable. No complaints about the service. Too bad we couldn't bring these back on the plane. I would have bought a bottle of rum to remember the visit by! It's definitely worth going out of your way to check this place out! 4 stars. read more

We live local but signed up for a tasting as it's something we hadn't done before. While most tastes were a big hit there was one, amongst the group, that was a bit of a miss. We all laughed about it and Logan kept us entertained the entire time. BTW: we tasted about 10 spirits today. One miss out of 10 is still a 10. We'll be back soon. read more

Stopped in for a drink after taking a tour of the St. Louis 1 cemetery. Quick ish walk from there. It was deserted so we got the bartenders full attention. He was great. I ordered an old fashioned. Delightful. My sister had something about the garden district (I think)? And then I asked for a suggestion. The guy made me his version of a streetcar and omg. Loved it. Bought a bottle of rum. Great tour with Richard! He was the perfect tour guide offering interesting information about every spirit and guiding us through the tasting. We tasted a lot of booze and most of it was delicious. The barrel aged gin was fantastic. The bourbon finished in honey was great as well. The rums weren't my favorite as I have definitely had better but there were plenty of other tasty options. Hands down the best activity to do in Nola. This distillery does a wonderful job at explaining the process of their craft. You can book a tasting tour which includes sampling a few of their bottles, a behind the scenes look at the barrels, and you end with cocktails at the bar. The tour is not necessary to have a good time though, they have a full bar with a projector playing sports. The entire staff will greet you with a smile and make you feel like you are family. True southern hospitality. If you want to whoo anyone, bring them here. Can't wait to go back! read more

I have been on numerous brewery and distillery tours and this one ranks in the top tier. Rene and Logan were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It also helps that this distillery produces some awesome product. I don't normally care for vodka but they make and extremely smooth take on it. Seven Three Distilling Co. is committed to building a truly unique destination distillery that celebrates New Orleans through its neighborhoods, artisan spirits, music and cocktail culture. Our goal is to craft award winning spirts while offering a tour that not only entertains but also offers an education of New Orleans' neighborhoods including a history of Storryville and the historic Treme neighborhood where the distillery now sits. We also want to provide an introduction to Louisiana agriculture and our wonderful farmers. We use only grains and cane grown in Louisiana for our distilled spirts. We officially opened in March, but we consider ourselves in the "soft-open" stage; we are still getting our feet under us and continue to learn the spirit industry and complete the historical portion of the tour.

Meet the Business Owner: Sal B.

Lawyer by day and fledgling moonshiner by night, Sal launched Seven Three with Jeff Rogers and their wives, Eileen Bivalacqua and Mary Anna Rogers, in pursuit of a singular vision -- to make distinctive distilled spirits that celebrate New Orleans while teaching others about this beautiful city's past and present. On any given day, that can find him sweeping and mopping, working with distiller Erik Morningstar to plan the growing spirits lineup, hitting the road to visit retail, bar and restaurant partners, or developing a distillery experience that will delight locals and visitors alike.

We also tried the Zucchini and Horseradish plate, which was incredibly unique and flavorful. It features a perfectly charred zucchini base loaded with a zesty horseradish cream and topped with beautifully shingles of crisp, fresh zucchini slices. While I didn't get a chance to snap photos of everything else we ate, every single bite was inventive, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the bartenders really know their craft. We highly recommend dropping in for a sophisticated drink and a few excellent bites!

Maxine was taking care of us and she was super attentive, communicated when there was a delay with food and made sure we were good at all times. Amazing customer service and care put into her guests. Only complaint was there were only two bartenders for a very packed house and ordering drinks was a 20-25 minute wait.

I had a margarita, and being from California, I am a little bit of a margarita snob. The drink was tasty and *on hit*, lol! I wasn't intoxicated, but lets just say I am so grateful the convention center was adjacent to the mall that houses the River Bar, and most importantly, walking distance, if you get my drift lol. My service, server and drink were excellent and next time I am in New Orleans, come heck or high water, I will definitely stop by to recreate my excellent experience. In the words of my former governor - "I'll be back!"
