Once or twice for breakfast and a few times for drinks…read more Their happy hour prices are perfect-o, the service is friendly, and they don't leave you hanging while the bartender chats up other customers. The breakfast food is delicious (I usually go for the French Toast). They have this thing called monkey bread which is kind of like a sweet connamon twist. Chewy and delicious, which they serve automatically as a side with breakfast, and also sell separately to go. The sit-down service in the restaurant is also friendly and quick, and the Bloody Marys are great. The only downside is that the inside is a little small, which is OK by me. They have outdoor seating as well, which is great during the warm summer months. Warning: during the summer, the place is packed. We're in a beach resort town.

We showed up around 10am for a late breakfast and the place was cute. Every table gets…read morecomplimentary monkey bread to start and unfortunately ours was so stale and hard we could barely bite into it. I ordered the Hungry Monkey ($19.95). It comes with 2 eggs, homemade white toast, breakfast potatoes, 2 pancakes, and a meat option we skipped since we're vegetarian. The pancakes were unmemorable and somehow even the syrup was bland. There were so many potatoes and I was excited when I saw the portion, but they all came out cold, shriveled, and slightly burnt at the same time, which was a bummer. One thing to know if you have any food allergies: the potatoes come mixed with peppers and onions and it's not on the menu. We asked if we could get them without and were told no. Just something to keep in mind.

Aug. 2025 | A+ Service, Legendary Breakfast…read more Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 5 out of 5 So many great things to say about this place, but let's start with the standout... Customer Service: Hands down the best we experienced during our 9-day family trip to OCMD. Karri, our waitress, made us feel like family, loved her. Jeff & Mike were professional, friendly, and made a point to engage with every table. Breakfast? PHENOMENAL. Best we've had, not just this summer, but in all our years visiting OCMD. My wife and son agree. Everything was homemade and cooked to order. No frozen shortcuts. Portions were just right, flavors balanced beautifully, and nothing overly sweet. Nashville Hot Stuffed French Toast: The bourbon and caramelized apples stole the show. Chicken was a fun twist, though next time I'd get it on the side to keep the sweet and spicy separate. You can skip the chicken altogether and save $4 if you'd like. Banana Foster French Toast: Mind-blowing. The kind of dish that makes you question everything you've ever called "breakfast." Plate was licked clean. Already dreaming of it for summer 2026. Creamed Chipped Beef over Biscuits: Shared this one. Generous portion, nostalgic flavor, clearly a recipe passed down and perfected. Triple Decker: My son had the chocolate chip pancakes, huge portion, perfect texture, and he loved every bite. Only minor con: straws come unwrapped in your drink. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note. Final score: 25/25. Solid A+. Verdict: Highly recommended. We'll be back in summer 2026, no question.

Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months!

I got the fresh fish and it was just ok. It needed more of a sauce rather than mango salsa. My husband got 2 pounds of wings as his dinner and loved every minute of it. The addiction wings are award winning for a reason. I did not order some of my favorites tonight, but are worth mentioning. The franchos, wrinkly green beans, and any of the wings. I often just order the franchos and wings to split with my husband as our entire meal. There is also great indoor and outdoor seating options. When they expanded and put the bar on a different side, it opened the restaurant up a lot and made it so much more enjoyable. Very kid friendly with good kids meals. Nothing fancy like some places try to do. They stick to kraft Mac n cheese and white bread. Your kids will be happy too.
