    Dragon fruit milk shake

We got drinks and fries. The fries are over priced and average at best. The drinks were really good and refreshing. The service was a bit slow and the ambiance was nice and casual

Clutch location. Yeah, of course you're going to want to check out all the great eats that Chicago has to offer if you're staying here. But maybe it's late or you're extremely tired or have your hands tied in some way. That's when having Shake Shack here is very useful. Having a place that's not a hotel restaurant is neat, and it's a beautiful location in terms of how it blends into the hotel. I had a great meal here at a late hour. Food came out quickly, and I was able to look around at the neat architecture of the hotel a bit.

    Beef burger

My brother and I came here for dinner. He ordered two beef burgers, but they were cold and the meat was undercooked, so they weren't good at all. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and it was cold as well. I also ordered fries with cheese, and they were cold too. On top of that, the dining area wasn't clean. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food and the cleanliness. We won't be coming back and would not recommend this location.

'Shroom Burger Hamburger Sunset Lemonade Vanilla & Chocolate Shake

We got the good old shroom burger and black Angus truffle burger. For drinks the sunset lemonade and my personal favourite the vanilla and chocolate shake! The Angus truffle burger was fabulous. Melt in mouth bun and patty with the crispiness of the friend onion and the super crust on the patty. The truffle flavour added a great richness to the burger. The shroom burger is a classic. Always guaranteed a good time. The shakes at shake shack are my favourite in the city (duh, its in their name) and the lemonade for my partner who sadly is lactose intolerant! The dining area is spacious with abundant seating, and service is pretty quick.

Shake shack makes pretty great burgers but this is the first time I had them cater anything. Honestly disappointed by the presentation and packing. I don't like the open packages and prefer my food fully wrapped in transit. I mean I'll dine but how they packages everything I probably would not get cater. All the burgers were touching and dripping on each other, the fries were open stacked so the bottom of the paper boat which most likely touched the counter is touching the fries.

    Fun little place!

Such a fun little Shake Shack location! Not a ton of seating and a pretty loud ambiance, but awesome service (delivering the food right to you because space is very limited) and Shake Shack food is always consistently delicious. The wavy fries are salty and crispy golden goodness and the burgers are smashed and cooked to perfection. Conveniently located very close to the "bean," Grant Park, the art institute, and also not terribly far from the museum campus and other hot downtown locations. Worth a stop for a quick bite - but is quite busy during the lunch hour, so be prepared for a wait.

Quick, delicious, and open late! I stopped here after Riot Fest when most other options were closed, but was so pleased to stumble upon it. The staff was friendly, the signage was displayed well and helpful, and I truly enjoyed the way they converted the space! Made for a great nightcap, absolutely recommend! The peaches and cream shake is phenomenal.

I placed a to go order and my food was ready very promptly! The location was about a 12 min walk from my hotel so I took my food back. It was delicious! No complaints. We don't have a shake shack where I live so this is always a treat. The burger was good and fresh, the fries were good and the chicken bites were delicious as well. Great meal. I would return!

    Concord Grape Punch

I've wanted to try Shake Shack for what seems like forever. I finally got the opportunity during a trip to Chicago. I thought the atmosphere was very nice and seemed upscale for fast food. I ordered the Double Smoke Shack Burger ($11), with Crinkle Fries ($4), a large Concord Grape Punch ($5), and a Chocolate Shake ($6). Overall a little pricey, but I was expecting it. The burger was delicious. It practically melted in my mouth. I now understand the hype for these burgers. The fries were good, but also forgettable. The Punch was amazing, so good. The Shake was disappointing to me. I didn't really enjoy it. It was a little too rich. However I'm not a huge fan of Custard Ice cream so that could be it too. The service was good, a little chaotic, but they did a good job when really busy. Overall I would give 4 1/2 stars. Since I have to round it'll be a 4 star. Would I return? Absolutely. If they ever make it to Grand Rapids it'll be my #1 fast food burger place. Just not my Shake place.

This location lets the food sit so long in the window my burger was cold and my lemonade completely watered down.

OREO Cookie Funnel Cake Shake and Spicy Cheese Fries with Ranch
    Nikith E.

Food was pretty average, as expected. I ordered the portobello mushroom burger, spicy cheesy fries, and the Oreo funnel shake. The fries were alright, but soggy. I asked for the cheese on the side, but it was put on the fries which made them soggy. The burger was okay. It was bland and smaller than I expected. The only redeeming quality of the order was the new Oreo funnel cake shake which was quite good. It had funnel cake pieces and Oreo in it and wasn't overly sweet. The service was as expected, the food was ready in about 15 minutes. The ambiance is what you expect from a fast food place like shake shack. Overall, it's what you would think of any fast food place!

    Perfect.

Shake Shack is the best chain burger place in North America! The freshness of the patty with the brioche tasting bun with their sauce is perfection. My wife who doesn't eat a lot of meat or burgers was blown away. This location is in a really unique building which offers great ambiance. I wish Shake Shack expands to Canada because we drove all the way from Toronto and the this place was top on my list of eats. Will probably have a few more burgers and shakes before we leave. Oh ya, the shakes?!?! Amazing too!

It was pricey but enough for 2 people to share. Metered parking on a weekend evening was easy. My only complaint is that it had a strange, unpleasant smell inside (we were there in the evening during the weekend of April 25th). Also, when I came a few years ago, it had a really cozy, welcoming vibe packed with comfy couches. Now, it just looks like basic tables and plastic chairs, lacking comfort, character, and charm. I'm hoping to return to try the sweet potato latte and the other shaved ices, but I hope they do something about the smell and make the space feel more cozy and inviting.

I found it interesting that the hot fudge was served on the side, but it's actually pretty smart because you get control how much (or how little) sauce you get. The ice cream is the highlight. It's creamy and rich, and it's got a really nice flavor, too. The hot fudge was less impressive, but that might be because I had already eaten a Ghirardelli sundae earlier in the day and their hot fudge just can't be beat.
