Fast friendly service. Came with out of town family after visiting the aquarium. Great place for my niece and nephew to get a plain burger and adults to get fancy adult burgers. Shakes are great. We tried the black sesame shake today, and it reminded us if asian desserts you get back in Taiwan! Yums! The kids ate everything we put in front of them, too. Space also allowed us to fit the stroller for my almost 3 month old with room to spare. He enjoyed looking around and the windows have a share that blocked the bright sunlight so it was comfortable for all. The burgers are always fresh. Came here during my lunch break in performing my civic duty (A.K.A jury duty). Shake Shack was short seven minute walk away. As I arrived in the midst of the afternoon lunch crowd, I encountered a line, but it moved along rather quickly. In that time, I had to quickly review the menu and decide what to order. Since it was cold outside, I decided to nix the shake (will provide a review on that later) and order the single "Shakeburger" and fries with cheese and a ginger blood orange lemonade. The staff were pleasant. The price was a bit steep ($13.71 of my allotted $15 jury duty fee). The place was packed with no seating in site. I was given a pager, which went off once my order was ready. (btw, in order to use the restroom, there is a code printed at the bottom of your receipt, hence it's only for the use of paying customers, which I completely understand). Once I received my order and doused the fries with a copious amount of Old Bay, I was on my way to find a chill out spot that was NOT the juror waiting room. I lucked up on a bench in the Galleria (another btw...the food court that was once located at the top is gone!) and proceeded to each my lunch. The burger and fries were nothing to write home about, just average. I really could have went to the Chik-Fil-A next door and been equally pleased and pissed off at their steep prices as well. The blood orange ginger lemonade had a nice flavor though. Anywhoo, my experience was average, but because I didn't get a shake at the Shake Shack, I will come back and revise my review. This is the closest Shake Shack to me but I've only done take out here because parking is so difficult! (I double-park illegally while my kid runs in to grab our pick-up order...) So far, everything has been fine. Service is efficient. Our orders are ready when or even before Shake Shack says they'll be ready. The orders are correct. I like this place. You need to establish a restaurant in Hawaii. The burgers are great the fries are crispy. You have to try this place, if you're in the area and in the mood for a good burger and shake. The shroom burger has a cheese stuffed into a battered mushroom then deep fried and placed onto a single patty with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes between the buns. The bun is soft, slightly sweet but not flaky or chalky like with thick bread buns. If you're not into fries they might change your mind. The menu is ala carte. There's no combo or reduced pricing for burger, fries n drink combo. I believe I paid a little over $10, but you can taste the difference. Definitely my cheeseburger place. They're busy in National Harbor, but worth the wait. I waited 15 minutes, but that's no different than waiting for the previews to end so the movie can begin. If you dine in, they have staff that will offer to refill your drink for you. They don't have a large dining area. During peak hours it gets crowded and it's a courtesy to others IMO to dine in, get a refill and leave. This place is definitely a nice addition to the downtown/inner harbor district. I'm sure tourist and area employees love it. I, however, am on the fence. Its more expensive than Five Guys, which is across the street. Other than a nicer seating area/ambiance what am I paying for? The burger was good but not anything to write home about (did I mention I am from California, home of In N Out?); the toppings are limited, which is cool if you're not a topping whore like myself. The lemonade was sub par at best. With a Chick-Fil-A next door there's just no reason to do it and as another yelper mentioned it was the size of a child's cup (forgive my gluttonous Americans, ways but I need more beverage). Finally, while I love a crinkle cut fry over all other cuts (except maybe curly) they were just ok. Nothing beats the taste of a fresh cut potato! It is called Shake Shack so when I go back I'll try one, but I'm not breaking my neck or my pockets to get back. Are here for the first time. Quick service, decent price for what you get. Employees seemed friendly towards customers and each other which is nice. It was a very busy time when I came in. I ordered a double cheeseburger and tried the rootbeer they had on tap. Although the rootbeer was good, after seeing the milkshakes, I wished I got one of those instead. You are handed a remote looking vibrating ready light that is used when your order is ready, they also use your name for those less tech savvy people. It appeared to only be for those eating in the restaurant. The cheeseburger was good, I wish there were more toppings you could have on it like onions but overall I would eat here again. The person I was with tried the Honey Chicken Sandwich and said it was pretty good! The crinkle fries were not great - but definitely better when there is some seasoning on it. Restaurant could have been cleaned a little more frequently, a few tables had not been cleaning when we wanted to sit down. I do like that there is the code to the restroom on the receipt to make Access a little easier to get to the restaurant. Good inexpensive option while in the harbor. This Shake Shack location is located right in the heart of the Inner Harbor. It's almost always crowded but worth it. First thing to note is their customer service was awesome. The cashier that helped me was super friendly and helpful. She kept me from making a huge mistake-- I love mushrooms so ordered the shroom burger. She informed me that it was a vegetarian burger and there was no meat on it. I'm sure this is a common mistake because I misread and thought it was a burger with mushrooms on it. It was a win-win because I avoided a veggie burger (no issues with vegetarians I'm just a burger girl) and she got her up-sale because I ended up getting the more expensive Shack Stack which is a cheeseburger with a shroom burger on top (sorry arteries) it was a little small but delicious. They have crinkle-cut fries and they were perfectly crispy. I'm a huge root beer/birch beer fan so loved that they had Abita root beer on tap. I got a chocolate cookies and cream milkshake and it was a little too sweet for me... But I did order a chocolate cookies and cream milkshake so I'm not sure what I was expecting :P it was still very good I just couldn't finish the whole thing because it was too much You need a code to get in the bathrooms which is nice because I feel like it's naturally a little cleaner since less people have access to it. It's located at the bottom of the receipt and the cashier did a good job making sure customers knew. Only downside to this location was when I was there only one bathroom was in operation so there was almost always a bathroom line. I thought this was a little random, but they sell dog treats. A friend that I was with there bought some for her pup. I thought they were a little steep at $7.99 for 5 biscuits but hey, spoil your dog with Shake Shack too! They also had some sort of custard dessert type thing for your dog that was cheaper but thats a lot harder to take home with you. For a burger, fries, root beer, and milkshake I paid $22. I thought it was a little overpriced based on the size of the burger. One thing that I LOVE though is that they have old bay readily available. This is a standard Shake Shack location. During my two visits here, there were never any large crowds or long lines. I suspect that this could vary greatly depending on what is happening in the area and time of year. The Shake Shack is located right in the middle of the harbor area and has street parking available nearby. I love that they had their OWN brew to offer. They run out of shake flavors (sad but true) and so I was unable to get the chocolate malt I wanted. The cashier recommended the black 'n white shake, which was just vanilla custard mixed with chocolate syrup. Got it as a malt but it just wasn't the same. Meh. The cashiers were very nice, super helpful and sweet, gave recommendations when asked. I do appreciate that. The facility was super duper clean, despite how many people were obviously coming in and out all day! Busy, busy! Someone called this spot the Chipotle of burgers. I can see why. The staff in the kitchen looked quite busy but there were a few people standing in the front chatting with patrons who were not customers. I knew this because they came in to talk and then left with nothing. There were plenty of customers standing around and waiting for their orders. I saw quite a few delivery food drivers, so that likely contributed to the wait. One customer became furious with the wait and yelled at the staff. When her order was ready, she snatched the bag off the counter and stormed out. I saw other customers go to the counter to ask about the status of their orders. This is the dirtiest and most disorganized shake shack I have ever been to. Barely busy on a Friday night at 9:30 and yet there is a huge line of people waiting for pickup orders. Despite the average ratings on Yelp, I was excited to try Shake Shack as I search for an east coast substitute for In-N-Out. On the positive side, the fries were crisp and light and the regular cheese burger was tasty with a well made burger with a soft bun, fresh toppings and good sauce. Unfortunately, in my excitement, I ordered the Shake Stack and the fried Portobello was a fail. It made the whole burger overly greasy and heavy. My daughter ordered a salted caramel shake but said it was too sweet to finish. Prices were also a bit steep for a small fast food burger. Shake Shack in Baltimore....Yas!! Great location right near the Gallery across Inner Harbor. Have been here three times since it opened. I always get the shakemeister burger with those crispy onions and a strawberry shake. I had the fries the first time but I try to save $ by not getting them. The burger is fresh and oh so yummy! It is a little pricey. You can easily spend $15 or more here for your meal, so watch the extras! The only negative is the seating area. When you first arrive have a member of your party get you a seat. Otherwise it is very hard to find a place to eat as it is usually crowded. I have only been during lunch and dinner which are two of the busier times. It probably won't be as crowded when the Chick fi la opens next door, so seating shouldn't be a problem for much longer...I hope! read more

I have always been a fan of Shake Shack, since having my first bite in Brooklyn NY. Their venues are always busy, filled with people waiting to get a taste of Shake Shack's famous Shack Burger. My go-to is the Shack Burger, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The patty is always browned and cooked pink as requested, without any traces of charring or scorching. The fries are fried to a golden crisp and are seasoned to a tee. The milkshake has a good milk to ice-cream ratio, creating a pleasant creamy texture. The essence of strawberries can be easily detected on first sip. My one critique of the chain is the portioning. The quantity of fries is too little and the actual size of the burger is smaller than other chains/restaurants. In general, the amount of money you invest for the food is worth the flavors and taste, but not the portions. Shake Shack is a good place to go to once in a while, but there are many other establishments that offer better cuisine. read more

Could not be more impressed with who I'm assuming is the front of house manager tonight. We had a kind person take our order and the food was delicious but what really made this Shake Shack stand out was the service we received as we were dining in. The manager came to our table (and everyone else's) to personally thank us for coming in, ask how everything was, and get my bf a refill of his soda. He proceeded to help the front line workers clearing tables and greeting and thanking customers. Super personable and I am impressed. Hope this finds its way to upper management so he can get some kudos. We will most definitely return!! read more

Been going here since they opened and honestly I usually stick to the tried and true ShackBurger, nothing TOO fancy. I do like how much variety they have here though, you can get everything from Cheese Fries to a glass of Wine if you really feel like you need it. This location is usually super busy but when prepping food they move pretty fast now compared to when they opened and were getting used to crowds and the demand. Have had no major issues with customer service or the staff and interior is usually really clean and nicely lit if you want to sit down here and get some work done (may be a little loud though). We order chicken shack burger bites 6 count truffle burger and two fries and 2 drinks. Come to find out at home we only got 3 fries and 1 pack of bites of 6 pieces. We paid over $35 for only 3 fries and 1 pack of 6 bites and 2 drinks. We didn't get our burgers which we were counting on after our long drive. We were in a rush after we got our food because we had made reservations at Phillips seafood restaurant across the street and by the time we got the food at shake shack Phillips had texted us saying our reservations were up and we were concerned with how long we were taking for the orders at shake shack. We only got the chicken pieces for our daughter which she did eat before even getting to Phillips. But we didn't have the time to check if our order was complete since we had to run to the parking garage to leave the food before entering Phillips. I'm very disappointed in this BALTIMORE location. We haven't had shake shack in a long time due to our home location. And disappointed that I was thinking about that burger the whole drive back and found our we over paid for what we got. I demand a refund. Already sent a formal complaint on your website waiting for a response.
