Always have to make a Shakey's stop when in SoCal and this location has good service, lots of parking, good staff, and delicious pizza of course. The store appearance is classic and still works well. Online ordering was a little tricky but pick up was a breeze. We sat down to enjoy a few slices as soon as we picked up our boxes. Booth seats were comfy and the place was in good order. We got there before a rush so it was all fresh and tidy still.

Kevin and I first visited this location on one of our first dates, and we recently went back to celebrate his birthday. The staff are friendly and approachable, the pizza is always plentiful and fresh, and the salad bar is clean and well stocked. The environment is family friendly, clean, and comfortable, making it perfect for a fun meal. Another simple stop that turns into a fun, memorable outing for us.

The food is delicious here, especially at the Burbank location. Fried chicken came out so hot, I had to wait to for it to cool down before digging in. Same with the mojo potato's, very fresh and hot and the pizza too. I love their supreme pizza with everything on it and endless fountain drink. Nice family oriented atmosphere, lots of bdays being celebrated. Little fun zone for the kids. The service was impeccable. We were constantly waited on, the table cleared of clutter and the food just kept coming. I'd visit here again and again!

The Burbank Shakey is huge! There are 2 dining rooms and a huge parking lot. Great place for parties. I came here for nostaic purposes and honestly the Pizza was fine... Still that unique tangy sauce I remember from my childhood days... However, the Chicken and Mojo's were sooo good. I forgot how much I like their chicken and mojo potatoes. The service was decent. All the staff we encountered were really nice. They made a mistake and brought us Mojo Potatos twice, but when we pointed out we already got it, our server just shrugged and said, "I know, we just made a mistake" and left the potatos. I was so happy to have more. Being back at Shaleys made me happy like when I was a kid. I would honestly keep returning cuz I liked what I ordered.

I came to Shakey's around 8 PM. I quickly ordered a beer, two pieces of chicken (leg and thigh), and a small pepperoni, cheese, and pineapple pizza. Not bad, an easy and fast dinner. The highlight was the crust very thin and crunchy. Good price.

Shakey's is Shakey's - it's a dependable pizza chain that's good for groups, dates, parties, or if you just want affordable food. This Burbank location is just as good as any we've been to. The interior is clean, the arcade is filled with kids, the pizza is decently priced... what's not to like? It's also got a good amount of parking, both in the parking lot out back and on the street.

Great experience at this location. Everything was clean, the food was hot and chicken crispy. Our order came out quickly and the location was not too packed. The person that brought out our food was really nice and came back to see if we needed anything else. The only con I have is the arcade. It's so. Expensive to play when half of the games are $1 vs. $.50. I understand that they have to profit; however, due to the size of the arcade, I think it could be more reasonable. Anywho, this location brought back so many memories of AYSO team parties, where it kept the old but modernized it.

I went here on Saturday. I liked that there's a salad bar since I'm health conscious. I didn't know there was rotisserie chicken or baked chicken. It tasted better than the fried chicken. Service was good, our plates got collected at the end of the buffet time. Ambiance was nice. It was bright, tables were clean. Nothing on the floor.

I went to check out Shakey's because I've never had it before. With the current price of pizza and chicken these days, I think the PCM is a pretty good deal. They had a lunch buffet that is probably the best deal. The chicken was freshly made and the mojos are nice. The pizza is okay, but it was my least favorite of the 3. It does have a nostalgic childhood taste so if you grew up with this, you probably will still enjoy this.

3 words: Bunch of Lunch! Lol.. We had some shopping to do in the area so we decided to stop by for a good ol fashion BOL. It's been a while since we've had the opportunity and what better time than when Dodgers playoff baseball is on! Clean food area, clean eating area, clean restrooms. Only knock would be lack of pizza options & only serving dark meat. Plenty of parking in the lot, we walked in a little after 12:30pm no wait, we were greeted and immediately roasted for our Dodger attire. They lost the previous night and the young lady was a Giants fan (Booooo) lol.. she was super cool & friendly, great customer service. As mentioned above, we went with the Bunch of Lunch and enjoyed the Boys in Blue winning Game 2 of the NLCS. Great overall experience, looking forward to our next trip to Shakey's! read more

Long day at work, super tired and didn't feel like cooking. Had to feed the family (kids said to me" Mama please can we get pizza and 'tatos?"). I begrudgingly stopped at Shakey's (I LOVE this place, but I just didn't feel like getting out of the car). Needless to say, my mood lifted when I came here. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, offered some suggestions for my picky eaters, took my order and checked in with me as I waited for my food. Was able to pass the time watching the NBA game. Before I knew it my order was up. The fam was sooo happy with their food, everything was warm and delicious. Two thumbs up from a tired mom and her happy kids!! We had our daughter's 6 birthday celebration on the august 28th, thank you Jose Medrano for the hospitality. Everything was great we had about 50 guest, they were all happy with the fresh food. Thank you to your team as well for helping me set up for my guest. My daughter won a gift certificate for student of the month award at school last week so we decided to bring her to this location after church. Front desk does not great you with a smile, you ask the bus boys if certain tables are available and they give you a half hearted answer, I had to wipe grease off the seats for my family myself before seating my family in the booth that I asked for. Aside from the free pizza we ordered something from the menu and only got half the order before having to go ask for all that we paid for, in conclusion this place has some of the worste customer service I have ever experienced. I come from the Bay Area (SanJose) and I always make sure to stop at a Shakey's Parlor we don't have one in the bay as they demolished it years ago. So we usually come to LA around 2 times out of the year. Well this year (Covid-19) it was a lil short as the theme parks are not open. We stopped by the beaches this year. So let me start with this Shakey's it in Burbank and I love this area. Now they closed at 8 on a Sunday night. The time says 10. So glad I called ahead of time. It was 7pm So I ordered to go as I had my kid with me and I didn't want to sit in the area because of Covid-19 so we order come back to the hotel and out order was wrong. We had ordered 2 pizza some mojos and chicken. Well 1 of the pizzas was a Meat lovers and the other was a pepperoni. Well the pepperoni came out being a combination. I called back really quick because I knew they were about to close it was 7:50. So the worker tells me I can return your money or you can come pick up the pizza. Well I needed the pizza to feed my son. I told him I will be there in a couple of minutes. Once arrived they gave me 2 pepperoni pizzas for the inconvenience and they have me the extra combination. They apologized and said they were very sorry. I will definitely be coming back. They fixed my problem and we all had extra pizza. So we get to take some home to the bay. My brothers will be happy to have some Shakey's. read more

This was an awesome experience! The manager was friendly, assisted us with recommendations for great value for our party of 9, and immediately fixed the soda machine when notified that the syrup had run out. She had tables cleaned so our family could sit together instead of sitting in two separate tables. The food was piping hot when served! Delicious and quickly served. read more

My favorite on this pizza joint is not the pizza but the CHICKEN and MOJOS. I love how I always get the fresh fried chicken whenever I come here. It's so good! Plus they give you so much mojos! LOL. We usually order the family deal that serves 4, we take it to go.. I think it's about $26! Super affordable when you just want to have a chill day at home and enjoy a good pizza and chicken. read more

This place is a joke! I came here with my family and ordered the bunch of lunch. As I went to get my food I asked if I could have a breast since I only like white meat. The girl said I could only have two per group. I said what? She walked away as I was talking. That was so rude! Then the manager came to tell me that I could only have one breast and every other breast I'd be charged $2. This is a buffet and I don't understand how they can decide who in my group can get white meat! Also the restroom is filthy. The tables dirty and food selection just not good. The staff at this location are amazing! The manager is a young Hispanic guy who treats his employees well and his customers better! I forgot my handbag at the restaurant. I came back a couple hours later and the manager handed me back my bag with all its contents inside. I tried to give his a small tip as a gesture of appreciation, and his reply was "That's what I'm here for. I would expect to get my bag back if I forgot it somewhere too." What a nice guy! I wish there were more people in today's world like this guy. read more

There's not a whole lot of pizza joints these days where you can get pizza, chicken, and potato wedges all at the same place. Shakey's has been a family tradition for us since the 80s. I can enjoy the games on tv while the kids place in the arcade area while we wait for our food. All in all, everyone is happy. read more

Came for dinner with my family. From the start I was not impressed. The salad bar looked like it wasn't turned over for at least 2hrs, and the bathrooms looks like no one has cleaned it, trash cans full no toilet paper, floor was disgusting. At least the food was good or maybe we where just hungry. read more

I have been going to this Shakey's for over 40 years, never have l had such a disturbing experience. My family and l go to bunch o lunch, and when we order we ask for some Mexican fiesta pizza. I give them a few minutes, then l go get in line, It was busy, had 5 or 6 people ahead of me, when l get to the front of the line, l ask the server for some pizza, he starts to scoop it up, when a lady walks up (did not wait in line), and starts to speak to the server in Spanish. At this time he gives her the pizza he already started to serve me! I was rather upset and asked if because l did not speak Spanish, l did not get preferential treatment?!?!? So , l let it go, we enjoy our lunch, we have food and drinks all over table with purses, sweaters, etc.... when we go to play some games. We turn around for a couple of minutes, and they bussed our whole table! Taking away our food and drinks we were not finished with! Ridicules!! Think after 40years l need to find another Shakey's to go to! I would not recommend, unless U speak Spanish!! read more

Most pizza places are small closets with take out only. So happy to find a pizza place where you can actually sit down with a large group, have pizza, play games, and catch the game on tv. They have something for everyone. This place is clean, has great food, games, and excellent service. read more

Love this place! I love the pizza and the crunchy-ness of the mojos and the chicken! Never greasy! I love it cause the customer service is always great and let me just say they never rush us out... we stay here for hours (talking and spending family time) and they never kick us out. I would definitely recommend this anyone whose wanting to unwind and eat great food! read more

Guys what happened! This location used to be my favorite but after today no way! Pizza was coldish, fried chicken was beyond chewy, mojos were scarce despite being a full order and man were the employees pretty indifferent to everything. I guess thats why the place was pretty empty... Well, anywho, I will probably not stop by here unless other Shakey's close down. read more

In LA this weekend 6/2026…read more Yesterday 6/27 we visited here for dinner, nice place food was good, they had a lot of snow crabs my boyfriend was cracking most legs and didn't have much meat in them. I decided to go with the Mongolian hot bar I piled on cabbage, all vegetables with one egg and house sauce. I tried the fruit the watermelon and cantaloupe wasn't sweet, however, the honeydew was really yummy. They have a boba drink station I tried the passion tea it was good. My boyfriend tried their desserts he liked the three layer mouse cake. I wasn't aware the Restaurant in LA charge a 10% service fee when I saw it on the bill I immediately was going to question it however, I googled first and basically the restaurants have to post it before charging you. When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.

Second plate, was good to LOL a lottttttt of crab legs which the price for itself at this point, Shrimp broil style, thai style,scampi. Theres pasta,ribs,salad. But also desserts like ie chocolate fountain OMG, jello and the fresh fruit was so delicious. I waited all day for this place and Im so glad I did. I had a little bit of everything and cant wait to bring my son and husband. Servers were attentive,served water and utensils at all times. First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. So I originally was going to grab some pizza from the pizza hut near this Shakeys. And it being Christmas and all, Pizza Hut was closed.. My girlfriend and I saw this place and decided to just grab pizza there. There really wasn't any 'customer service' we just ordered and they brought our food and that was that. They didn't ask if it was okay or not. Which by the way it wasn't that good of a pizza. Give this place two stars for being open on Christmas, nothing else. read more

This Shakey's is 100% the best in the area. The inside was well kept and customer service was great. Food was good as always, pizza from here was always my favorite and I recommend you try their famous mojos, they are soooo good. arcade was fun and they have the best prizes I've seen from a place like this. I really enjoyed my visit and felt really satisfied with everything . Will definitely be coming back again soon. read more

Even though it was super busy and packed, Clarence's service was amazing. Anything we asked for, he was able to get for us as far as new clean plates, sauce and overall he just made our lunch experience with my coworkers pleasant and we will definitely be back because of him. The ambiance is nice, and the staff is hustling to keep people happy and the place clean. read more

Shakey's is probably one of my favorite pizza options. My family and I decided to dine in at this location today and we spent $70 between us 3. No doubt, the pizza has gotten expensive. We get it. However, the place is a mess. There is no toilet paper in the bathrooms, there is a mess on the floor, the napkin holders are dusty. Man - how is this ok?! read more

I like the buffet, the food is good. I can keep getting more food from the buffet I like that they have ice cream bars, especially the strawberry ones. They have a nice dining area, I can watch tv while I eat. The people are also nice, they follow up to make sure you have been helped. Very very good place. read more

Man, I wanted to like this place. Makes me feel like a kid again, but somehow with only a handful of people inside during the lunch special, they were completely unable to keep even the most basic of items in stock on the buffet. How hard is it to do your job when the customer to employee ratio is 1:1. read more

I had some doubts about trying a new place but this place exceeded my expectations. The cashier was friendly, helped me with the menu. I got a pan pepperoni with chicken and mojos. The pan pizza was my FAVORITE, the crust was perfectly cooked every bite was exquisite. Definitely will be returning. read more

It was nice to go back to my childhood restaurant. Enjoyed buffet especially the pizza, they made a shakeys special which I liked. If anyone is looking for a lunch spot I definitely reccomend coming for buffet. read more
