Always have to make a Shakey's stop when in SoCal and this location has good service, lots of parking, good staff, and delicious pizza of course. The store appearance is classic and still works well. Online ordering was a little tricky but pick up was a breeze. We sat down to enjoy a few slices as soon as we picked up our boxes. Booth seats were comfy and the place was in good order. We got there before a rush so it was all fresh and tidy still.

Kevin and I first visited this location on one of our first dates, and we recently went back to celebrate his birthday. The staff are friendly and approachable, the pizza is always plentiful and fresh, and the salad bar is clean and well stocked. The environment is family friendly, clean, and comfortable, making it perfect for a fun meal. Another simple stop that turns into a fun, memorable outing for us.

The food is delicious here, especially at the Burbank location. Fried chicken came out so hot, I had to wait to for it to cool down before digging in. Same with the mojo potato's, very fresh and hot and the pizza too. I love their supreme pizza with everything on it and endless fountain drink. Nice family oriented atmosphere, lots of bdays being celebrated. Little fun zone for the kids. The service was impeccable. We were constantly waited on, the table cleared of clutter and the food just kept coming. I'd visit here again and again!

The Burbank Shakey is huge! There are 2 dining rooms and a huge parking lot. Great place for parties. I came here for nostaic purposes and honestly the Pizza was fine... Still that unique tangy sauce I remember from my childhood days... However, the Chicken and Mojo's were sooo good. I forgot how much I like their chicken and mojo potatoes. The service was decent. All the staff we encountered were really nice. They made a mistake and brought us Mojo Potatos twice, but when we pointed out we already got it, our server just shrugged and said, "I know, we just made a mistake" and left the potatos. I was so happy to have more. Being back at Shaleys made me happy like when I was a kid. I would honestly keep returning cuz I liked what I ordered.

I came to Shakey's around 8 PM. I quickly ordered a beer, two pieces of chicken (leg and thigh), and a small pepperoni, cheese, and pineapple pizza. Not bad, an easy and fast dinner. The highlight was the crust very thin and crunchy. Good price.

Shakey's is Shakey's - it's a dependable pizza chain that's good for groups, dates, parties, or if you just want affordable food. This Burbank location is just as good as any we've been to. The interior is clean, the arcade is filled with kids, the pizza is decently priced... what's not to like? It's also got a good amount of parking, both in the parking lot out back and on the street.

Great experience at this location. Everything was clean, the food was hot and chicken crispy. Our order came out quickly and the location was not too packed. The person that brought out our food was really nice and came back to see if we needed anything else. The only con I have is the arcade. It's so. Expensive to play when half of the games are $1 vs. $.50. I understand that they have to profit; however, due to the size of the arcade, I think it could be more reasonable. Anywho, this location brought back so many memories of AYSO team parties, where it kept the old but modernized it.

I went here on Saturday. I liked that there's a salad bar since I'm health conscious. I didn't know there was rotisserie chicken or baked chicken. It tasted better than the fried chicken. Service was good, our plates got collected at the end of the buffet time. Ambiance was nice. It was bright, tables were clean. Nothing on the floor.

I decided to go with the Mongolian hot bar I piled on cabbage, all vegetables with one egg and house sauce. I tried the fruit the watermelon and cantaloupe wasn't sweet, however, the honeydew was really yummy. They have a boba drink station I tried the passion tea it was good. My boyfriend tried their desserts he liked the three layer mouse cake. I wasn't aware the Restaurant in LA charge a 10% service fee when I saw it on the bill I immediately was going to question it however, I googled first and basically the restaurants have to post it before charging you. When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.

The seafood selection was definitely the highlight, especially the crab legs, oysters, sushi, and shrimp, but there were also plenty of non-seafood options. The restaurant is spacious, and the staff stayed on top of clearing plates throughout our meal, which made the experience feel smooth and comfortable. With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

I could fill-up on their salmon sashimi alone (I definitely get a plate to start with) & be decently satisfied. That said, there's so much here to be pleased with. It's no secret that many buffets have done away with crab legs. Sometimes, I wonder how many populations of crab my family has decimated alone. But I have to admit, during this visit I've literally never seen 2 people put away so many crawfish - (in my humble opinion, the "poor man's lobster"). I'm not trying to exaggerate, but I feel like these 2 people alone put crawfish on the endangered species list. There's a decent variety of Sushi, Asian-American, American, & a grill-to-order-station. The dessert selection has a decent variety of fruits, your standard buffet pastries, & an unmistakable ice cream freezer (to scoop from gallons). Pro-Tip: When scooping ice-cream, it always helps to dip the scooper & rinse it under the running facet - it also helps to prevent cross contamination of different flavors. Another tip: Don't even think of trying to "sneak-in" crab legs onto your plate by only paying the lunch price - the staff always knows who has paid for the extra price of dinner.

Dim Sum is unique but usually not done well so I didn't even bother. Chicken feet isn't bad tho Bathrooms could be cleaner and service was slooow. We maybe saw our waiter like 3 times? He even helped me with the reservation. That call brightened my day. Finally Sat! Checked in and had to wait a bit before getting seated. I was happy that we got seated near the main seafood section. I wasn't expecting a lot, but I was hoping to be able to enjoy some of the seafoods this time. Huge improvement on the seafoods!! The whole steamed lobsters were not overcooked. It was yummy with the butter and lemon. The snow crab legs were in good size. Wasn't that salty. Was good with or without butter. King crab legs were ok. It was thin than the ones previously. However, it was edible this time. It wasn't super salty. Some were just pretty dry and the meats weren't as tasty as the king crab legs I normally eat from other places. The sashimi was fresh. For ayce, the quality was great. All the other items were good as well. Foods were no longer as salty as before. I felt like their chef was messing with the foods or something back then. Maybe new chefs? I hope things will stay consistent or improve even more in the future. The Thai tea without boba was good. It was way better than what I had in the morning. The tea was strong. I had 2 cups hehhe Service was good. They came by a few times and made sure things were going smoothly. The desserts were not the greatest. They need a new baker or get their cakes else where. I didn't see any baked lobsters. I really enjoyed the baked lobsters back in the days. Looking forward to return with the family. Thank you, Miguel!! Reg price for dinner was $139, but they had a promotion going on for $109 pp. With the bogo deal, our total came out to $166.15 instead of $275.15. They now have a facility charge and a no tipping policy. I prefer this over the standard with Cafe Sierra. I am ok with tipping, however, I have had servers that circled the percentage of tips they wanted and expected that amount to be given. The lady servers who did this were not present during the visit. Great! Sierra doesn't need these greedy servers.

We love their soup dishes: sinigang, nilaga, and bulalo. Great comfort food and the servings are generous. Miki bihon and sotanghon are also a hit and each order can easily feed up to 4 people. Items are fairly priced and appreciate the generous portions and homestyle cooking. We have a lot of filipino spots where we live but this place just hits the spot and the additional delivery fees are worth it.

A very crowded venue with different reservations like a repast gathering as well as walk - ins customers!!! Space between the dining area and buffet line was too crowded with people standing and blocking the aisle as saying goodbyes or merely to chat !!! Had to squeeze myself to go get my food !!! Just wish there was enough walking space ! Food buffet consisted of : KARE-KARE BISTEK MISWA PORK SINIGANG IGADO FRIED CHICKEN PINAKBET LECHON KAWALI LUGAW FRIED LARGE SHELLED SHRIMPS CHAMPURADO PANSIT GARLIC FRIED RICE STEAMED WHITE RICE GINATAN and many more... Some hot Food trays were replenished as it went empty !! They cater as well as have party packages !! If you are looking for an authentic Filipino Cuisine... this is the place to celebrate for sure!!!
